Ridiculous wishes

Azkar saw innocence in the child's eyes while he cried. Azkar also knows that he is not a hero who helps people from the bottom of his heart. But still, Azkar knows that he was not going to gain anything from this child, even if this child decided to sell his soul to him. Still, it has no worth to him. But he decided to help this child. He wanted to know what wish this child will ask.

"Mr., you're really going to fulfill my wish?" Evelyn said while looking at Azkar.

"Of course. You can ask for anything except reviving your dead family," Azkar said, observing Evelyn still crying on the carpet.

"I understand. Thank you, Mr., for sparing my life. I'm grateful to you. I don't need any wish other than reviving my family," Evelyn said as he stopped crying, and his eyes became lifeless once again.

"Hahaha, what a good kid you are. I like your answer. Let me show you something," Azkar said. After saying this, he thought about his wings and halo. He couldn't use the full god mode; otherwise, this child would surely be overwhelmed by the pressure. So, he decided to show him his wings and halo.

"God," Evelyn rubbed his eyes, but even so, the being in front of him didn't disappear.

"Mother, where are we going?" young Evelyn asked his mother.

"We are going to the temple of God, my child," Evelyn's mother replied.

"Mother, what does God look like?" young Evelyn asked his mother.

"My baby has grown up. Let me tell you, God has beautiful white wings, and they have a halo above their head. You'll see when we go to the temple," Evelyn's mother replied.

Evelyn was kneeling in front of Azkar because he had heard many things from his mother. Even so, he lost all hope when he lost his family and was sold as food. "Not happening," Azkar replied, thinking, "How come this kid has ridiculous wishes."

"I don't need anything then," Evelyn said while doubting Azkar's identity.

"Okay, I'll give you my word that one day, if you become strong enough to protect your loved ones, I'll revive your family. Also, ask for a wish that is not ridiculous," Azkar said while seeing Evelyn, who was busy crying.

"Really? Then give me a powerful innate ability," Evelyn said with a happy face, brightened after hearing Azkar's answer.

"You already have an innate ability," Azkar replied, thinking, "If I give him an innate ability, then his soul will not be able to handle two abilities at the same time."
