Chapter 5. Alien Fencer.

"Where did you find out about the M.I.B. and about what we do?"

"I saw you catch aliens once when I was a child. Not you, but someone dressed like you, claiming to be M.I.B., saying that they manage all the aliens on Earth and protect the planet." Noah said stiffly.

The memory from this body didn't really have aliens in them, but the M.I.B. had dealt with so many aliens. How could he know when the matter leaked?

"Is that so? Since you know about the M.I.B., you should know that no one can lie in front of us. We are much more powerful than you think." K didn't continue to look any deeper. He could just go back and check. All the information concerning this kid, since the day he was born, could be found.

Waking in with Noah, they heard Jay arguing.

"Come on. What you see is what I got." Jeebs argued.

"Why don't you show him the imports, Jeebs?" said K.

When Jeebs saw K, he paused and forced out a smiling face, "Hey, K, how are you? I got out of that business a long time ago."

'Why is K here?! I have to deny this! I don't need to play this losing bet!'

K took out a strange gun from his pocket and pointed it at Jeebs's head, "Why are you lying to me, Jeebs? I hate it when you lie..."

"He'll do it, Jeebs." Jay thought K was just scaring Jeebs; he had scared a couple of suspects before, and it did wonders.

'Huh? Why did Noah step back? Is there something to be afraid of?'

"When he's angry, he'll really do it. You'd better listen to him." Noah suggested, at the same time also staring at Jeebs's head. He really wanted to see what was inside when it burst.

"He's always like that." Jeebs, with his two eyes facing two different directions, looked at Jay and Noah. 'Why did K bring these two people here? Since when did the M.I.B have a three-member team?'

"One."

"You'd better take it out quickly, or K won't hesitate," Noah said so, as he stepped behind K.

"Two."

"You're always crazy, K! Why don't you get a massage, take a cruise!" Jeebs snapped in anger.

"Three."

Bang!

Jeebs's head burst open, and the green liquid splashed around and sprayed on Jay.

Jay instantly pulled out his gun and pointed at K, "Drop the weapon and put your hands behind your head! Noah, get away from him!"

'Is this man crazy! Killing someone in front of the police? Does he really think his special department gave him a license to kill? And what kind of weapon is that, actually blowing a person's head off?!'

"I warned him." K slightly lowered his gun, and it seemed that he didn't care that Jay was pointing his gun at him.

"Drop the weapon! "Jay's tone turned sharper. Suddenly, something was wrong with Noah's eyes and expression. 'Is there something wrong behind me? It should be a dead body. I can't look back.'

"Jay, believe me, look behind you." Noah pointed to the counter, "He's not dead."

"What the hell are you say-! Woah!"

Jay turned to look back. He saw that Jeebs's headless body actually stood up, and a meatball emerged from his neck. The meatball quickly became bigger, giving birth to facial features, then turned into a head. The facial features turned out to look like the dead Jeebs.

'How the fuck could a head grow back?!'

"Do you have any idea how much that stings!?" Jeebs complained. There was some liquid dripping down his face.

"Show us the merchandise, or you're going to lose another head, Jeebs." K's face looked indifferent as if blowing someone else's head off was a very common thing.

"Jay put down the gun. It's an alien, and he won't die if he loses a head." Noah said, "You'd better show us, or we'll let you have another taste."

Jay holstered his gun, feeling that none of this made any sense. This was much more mind-blowing than the guy jumping off a building before.

Jeebs looked at the gun K was holding, knowing that he would really do that. He slowly pressed a button under the counter. Many of the decorations on the wall instantly flipped over, revealing a variety of strangely shaped weapons behind them.

Noah's eyes widened. These were all special weapons. Some of them were even better than the M.I.B's commonly used De-Atomizer.

"Which one?" K gestured.

Noah pointed at a strange gun, "Right there, the one in the middle."

Jay also nodded, "Yeah, that's the one. When it fell to the ground, it burst into flames and disappeared."

"You sold a Reverberating Carbonizer with mutation ability to an unlicensed Cephalapoid, Jeebs!" K looked back at Jeebs, exasperated.

Jeebs pleaded his innocence, "He looked alright to me."

His heart was shouting, 'That's what I do. Will licensed people buy guns from me? Would they pay such a high price?'

"Must have been for an assassination! Who's the target?" K's hand was shaking, holding the gun. If it weren't for the treaty, he would have wanted to arrest Jeebs, not knowing how many other weapons were sold to aliens behind his back.

"You know, I don't know." Jeebs really didn't know. He just sold guns and didn't care who the customers were and who they wanted to shoot.

"God damn it, Jeebs!" K's gun was instantly pointed at Jeebs's head, "Alright, that's confiscated, all of it. I want you on the next transport off this rock, or I'm going to shoot you where it doesn't grow back!"

Suddenly, Jay felt that his own momentum was weak. K would shoot when he said he was going to, no negotiations. 'Uh? Noah seems to be rubbing some green liquid with something.'

"Noah, what are you doing?"

"Collect a little blood to see what's different in the aliens' blood and humans. Maybe study some poisons that could kill aliens silently."

Jeebs had been thinking of sneaking away for a while and coming back. But, when he heard Noah's words, he immediately pulled all the Rolexes on the table into his pocket, took a box out of the wall behind him and placed it in a bag, and ran out the back door. K's new partner was scary.

Seeing Jeebs running away, Jay curiously looked at Noah, "Could you really make such a thing?"

Noah shrugged, "I'm just saying."

Jay stood at the door, still digesting the alien thing.

K put on his sunglasses, "Searching for a handle on the moment? I can't help you. The only comfort I can offer is my promise that tomorrow morning you won't remember a thing."

"Hey, Noah, look here. Don't make me use violence, okay?"

Noah seriously asked, "Can you get me an interview? Or maybe us both, right Jay?"

Snap~~

...

Jay was staring at a strange old guy telling a joke, and the other guy was about to strike the table while laughing, but he was at a loss. He remembered that he told Noah that they were going to a bar to pick up girls. 'Why are we here? Who is this old guy?'

"Noah, who is this?"

Noah didn't lose any of his memories, but he still made a bewildered expression, "Isn't he your friend?"

"Yeah, we're friends, Edwards. You see, what I mean about tequila? And James, you're a bright young man, but you need to lay off the sauce. Anyway, I'll see you bright and early, 9 o'clock."

K handed the M.I.B business cards to the two. He then glanced at Noah for a moment and felt that this kid was way too calm.
