22. Arriving

'Okay, the island is quite near now from what I can sense'. Alex thought as he quickly got read to destroy the yacht and drift over the island with the debris.

Alex gathered the Chi in his leg as he concentrated all his effort. He lifted the led like a Sumo Wrestler and let it fall down.

*Boom*

With a huge crash, the yacht turned to splinters as wooden boards of all sizes floated everywhere in the stream.

Alex grabbed onto a big piece of debris and floated on the stream with it leisurely like sitting on a beach chair.

'Now to just wait for arrival'. He thought and just looked at the sky with a bored expression on his face.

Alex waited for a good seven to eight hours before he felt that the island was close. He immediately got in position.

'Now to just manipulate some acupuncture points'. He immediately got into action and closed off some acupuncture points to induce himself a fake unconsciousness.

His hearing and brain was active but his body appeared to be unconscious. He slowly drifted towards the island and was washed ashore.

He waited for less than ten minutes and a group of Amazons were already encircling the beach from afar.

The beach was white with sand and was quite warm as Alex felt comfortable laying there. He couldn't see anything but his hearing was telling him everything like a bat's echolocation.

He could see everything like a sonar from the air and sound reflecting from different surface on the beach.

"What the queen said was right. There is a man washed ashore". One of the Amazons said as she looked at Alex.

"Leave him there. We don't need to dirty our hands". Another indicated as they just set a perimeter and didn't plan to help Alex at all.

"What are you guys doing?" Suddenly, a stern voice came from behind them.

"Princess, we are just setting a perimeter to keep an eye on the man". The amazon said as she explained quickly.

"Mother asked you to wake him up and send him on his way". Diana looked at everyone as she said while scrutinising them.

After saying that, she didn't wait for them and started walking towards the beach. Alex was also aware of the whole conversation going on between them.

'Phew, the plan is still working'. He thought as Diana neared him.

"Princess, don't go near him". The others warned as they quickly tried to stop Diana.

"Don't worry, he is just a young man. We aren't heartless enough to ignore stranded people". Diana said as she chided them and gave them a cold look and kept on walking towards Alex.

She could understand their hatred for men but most of them didn't even know men and were just swept up by the trend. Their hatred was inexplicable to her.

She quickly sat on Alex's side as she checked his pulse. 'The pulse is normal. It's just a little slow but everything else is fine'. Diana analysed quickly and heaved a sigh of relief.

No matter what, Alex was still a child according to their standard and she had been a hero during World War. She wasn't averse to men and she couldn't really see a stranded person die in front of her.

The long years of peace had turned her soft and more amiable. Before, during the war against men and gods. She didn't care for who she killed but now things had changed.

"Carry him to medical ward and wake him up". Diana ordered as the other Amazons unwillingly came and took Alex to the medical ward.

Alex was hearing everything going on around him. His brain was fully active whole he was being transported to the medical ward.

"The princess has been deceived by these men". The amazon who was carrying Alex said.

"Yeah, ever since she came back from the outside world. She has changed". The others agreed as they expressed their dissatisfaction.

"She doesn't remember the cruelties of men". Another one added fuel to the fire as she continued.

They continued to belittle men as they continued to transport him to the ward. Alex was getting sick of their constant bitching.

'I so want to punch them'. He thought as he was getting annoyed.

They quickly entered and threw him on the bed and left just as quickly like avoiding a plaque. His bed was the farthest of the bunch and he wasn't pleased with the treatment.

'I know you don't like men but at least show mercy to a patient'. Alex thought in his mind as he continued to act.

After waiting for a good two to three hours. He started squirming when Diana came to check up on him.

He opened his eyes groggily as looked at her and acted confused. "Huh, where am I?" His facial features were accurate and on point as he looked around then focused on Diana.

"You are on Themyscira, the home of the Amazons". Diana said as a hint of pride flashed in her voice.

"Ooh, like the legend". Alex acted a bit confused and surprised as he opened his mouth.

"Exactly and I am Diana. The princess of this island". Diana nodded, a bit pleased at Alex's reaction.

"What happened to my crew?" Alex suddenly asked like he just remembered.

"You were the only one". Diana said as she looked at Alex with sympathy. Playing right into his trap.

"Ohh". Alex acted sad as he face fell and he looked down with a bit of tears in his eyes.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine". Diana consoled him as she rubbed his back with sympathetic eyes.

She had also lost someone dear to her and knew how it felt like to lose someone close to you. She could related to him very well. 'Poor guy'.

"Thank you". Alex acted sad as he thanked her softly.

"I would like to be alone for a while please". He made sure to sound a bit hurt to rest his case.

Diana nodded after patting his shoulder. "I will come meet you tomorrow. Take a good rest. My mother might also want to talk to you". Diana said as she went out of the ward.
