23 23. Meeting

Alex relaxed back onto the bed as he thought about some random things and slowly fell asleep on the bed from boredom.

But it didn't look like that Diana, who was looking and observing Alex secretly. Unaware that Alex also knew about her being there.

——Scene Change——

"So that man has set foot here". Hippolyta said as she looked at the two Amazons kneeling in front of her.

"Yes, your majesty. We tried to stop the princess but she didn't listen to us". The amazons said as they kept their heads down.

"The world outside has changed her views". Hippolyta said as she mused to herself.

"And what about that man? Why didn't you just send him back". Hippolyta voice grew a bit more stern as she talked about it.

"Mother, he is just a helpless person stranded unknowingly. Plus he is in no shape for travel". Just then Diana barged into the throne as she argued back.

"That thing is a Man". Hippolyta said as she squinted her eyes at Diana and let her aura flare up.

"So what Mother. Not all men are bad". Diana argued back without backing off.

"Enough! You can retire. I will meet him tomorrow". Hippolyta ended the conversation and silently sat back down.

——Next day——

Alex woke up and looked up at the ceiling blankly without moving. 'Gotta act a bit more'. Alex thought as he just gazed emptily while having myriad thought in his mind.

Just then he heard the sound of footsteps along with a sweet voice. "Are you feeling better?" Diana looked at his blank face with a bit of pity.

"Yeah, much better after the sleep". Alex said with a small smile as he looked at Diana.

"So Sister, I heard that Amazons are like Gods children or something. Is it true?" Alex said with a hint of excitement in his eyes and face.

"Yeah, most of us are". Diana nodded as she sat down at the edge of the bed and said. She didn't mind him calling her sister as it felt quite nice.

"Oh, then you should be really strong". His smile somewhat changed a bit. It felt more feral.

"Yes, all the amazons are strong but I am especially stronger". Diana smiled as she said with pride.

"Oh, then can I have a spar. I have been very strong since I was a child and I want to fight someone as strong as me". Alex said with excitement.

'Looks like he forgot his sadness for now. Men are truly simple minded. Guess, it's a good thing'. Diana thought as she felt happy for him. She was treating him like a child but that will change.

"We can but first my Mother wants to meet you". Diana agreed but then turned serious when she talked about her mother.

"Hmm, L-Let's go". Alex acted a little tense. As it should be a normal response when meeting a queen of godly females.

"Don't worry, just go with Me. Nothing will happen". Diana patted him on the shoulder as she reassured him and even stressed the word sister to him.

"Okay". Alex nodded as he slowly followed behind her.

They came a big building made of white marble. It looked majestic and magnificent. 'I should ask Bruce to make one when he comes back. Could be a vacation home'. He thought as he followed Diana like a curious child as he looked around everywhere.

They came to a big throne room with Female warrior standing in two rows on the side of the room with weapons and armour.

Hippolyta was sitting on her throne with her back taut like a bow and her bust pushing the toga on her body out a little. She was looking stunning but that majestic aura and the frosty look made people stay away.

She looked at Alex like she was going to eat him alive. "So, Child of Man. When do you plan to leave this sacred land". Hippolyta said in her emotionless voice as she scrutinised him.

Diana stood beside Alex as she shielded him from Hippolyta's pressure which earned her a glare from the queen.

"I don't know how to?" Alex replied back calmly unlike how he acted in front of Diana.

Dina was a bit surprised by this but she didn't question it for now.

"So what? That's none of our problem. You are trespassing into our home and we want you out". The queen said with a frown as she didn't care.

"Mother, he wants to spar with me and according to rules. A challenger cannot be sent home unless he retreats himself". Diana quickly rescues the situation by bringing up the challenge.

Hippolyta quirked an eyebrow at this and then got herself comfortable on the throne as she looked over to Alex.

"So, child of man, You want to challenge Diana but you do know that to challenge a champion. You first have to go through the others on the list as well". She wasn't going to make this easy on him. Even if he was just a young ignorant man. So she put her proposition in front.

'Let's see what you will do now?' She thought as she looked at Alex impassively.

"No problem, Let them come". Alex replied confidently as his body started to exude a powerful aura.

"Good, let's see how you perform". Hippolyta nodded and then waved her hand in dismissal.

Alex took his leave along with Diana as they walked out together. "Sorry Sis, I got you into trouble as well". Alex said as he smiled at Diana.

"No worries, it will take time to arrange everything. You will have to wait for a couple of days. So I will lead you to some separate quarters". Diana smiled as she led him out of the castle and showed him a small house on the outskirts.

"This is all that I could manage to get for you". Diana said with a hint of apology. She was just too soft and trusting nowadays.

"This is more than enough. Thank you". Alex thanked her as he took her hand as he enhanced his touch with Hamon that made Diana feel a bit tingly and good.

"No problem. I'll see you later". She had an imperceptible blush on her face as she took her and went away.

'Hehe, All according to Keikaku'. Alex laughed in his mind as he got into the house.
