"As I was saying, I invited them to help us take the vermin out of this world". She said with a strong and serious voice.
"With no disrespect Fate but you've just met them and we also know nothing about them. So we cannot take the risk when we are already down to a few members". The Lex Luthor of this universe said while looking at Alex and the others.
"I have no opinion for the time being and I can see his point. So you guys decide it yourself". Alex looked at them calmly and just closed his eyes.
Fate wanted to say something in their defence but after hearing Alex's words. Shs didn't force it and just looked at the others.
She had taken off her helmet for some reason was just walking around without it in her hands.
"Lex, Cyborg, Joker, we only have this chance to finally get those bugs out and bring some order back to this world. Even if it is a risk. It is a risk that I am willing to take". Fate clenched her fists and spoke grimly to the other three in the room.
All three of them and Fate are the four heads of resistance at the moment because they are heroes in the verse and most of the members have been killed off or recruited by the Crime syndicate.
Lex, Cyborg and Joker shared a look with each other and though about Fate's words.
It was true that this might as well be their only chance or shot at taking back this world from the Crime Syndicate.
But they weren't sure if they really wanted to do this with some strangers. Who claimed to be from another reality.
They will be risking their own and their subordinates' lives if they took this decision hastily.
All this time that they were talking. The girls were busy with each other and whispering something in each other's ears.
The only one with some anger on her face was Hancock. Who felt that her Dear was insulted because they didn't trust him.
It's only because Alex didn't say anything and just sat there after the initial speech that she was still sitting there while restraining herself or she would've opened them all a new hole.
Alex also knew of her mood and had made the initial in the first place to make sure that Hancock didn't make any rash moves here.
They weren't here to fight the resistance. They were here to just watch the fun for a while.
Alex didn't need their help in the first place to take down some non-Reality Warpers. So he was just having fun.
"And you say I am crazy but I will take the chance. Let's open them a new one". Joker looked at the other two and finally spoke.
He maybe a bit crazy in the head but he was no fool to be able to give Batman a run for his money all this time.
But he dares to take risks and challenges that come his way and this was the case this time as well.
"Two people have joined and I can't really stay behind like this". Lex smiled and answered as well.
He sighed in his mind that they had fallen to this point that they had to be on the mercy of others.
"You guys". Cyborg looked at the others with a flabbergasted expression.
"Haaa, I will join too". He lifted his hand and gave up arguing.
"Good that you have decided". Alex finally spoke up after they had done discussing.
He could've easily solved this with reality Manipulation but why do that when you can have some fun.
Plus no one was dying under his watch. So it was all good and dandy.
"We can actually take another member to our side from their side". Alex spike with a smile and looked at the others mysteriously.
"You mean Superwoman?" Lex broke the mysteriousness of Alex as soon as he said the thing.
"Yeah". Alex nodded naturally like he didn't just try to make a mysterious atmosphere.
"Giggle". All the girls laughed in the room at Alex's embarrassment except Hancock. She kept her face straight.
'I can't laugh at Dear like this'. She thought in her mind and controlled her face to be as natural as possible.
"She is currently quite clean in criminal activities actually. She hasn't killed anyone and hasn't even stolen anything. Her only downfall is that she seeks fights everywhere.
That is the only reason why she is in The Crime Syndicate to be able to fight Ultraman because he is stronger than her". Lex spoke while telling all her records and showing them some files on her.
Alex looked through every and knew that he was telling the truth with just one look at them.
"So we have a potential ally". Alex said and looked at them with a smile.
"Yeah but we need to confront her upfront and then make her defect or she will never agree if it isn't a fair duel". Lex nodded his head in understanding but didn't forget to remind him.
"Leave that to me. I can take care of that easily". Alex didn't even change his like he was talking about a trivial thing but he was jumping on the inside.
That is Super woman, one of his waifus from DC. He really liked it when he saw her in the DC movie at that time.
His heart was literally jumping with joy when he thought about this and couldn't wait to just go and challenge her right now.
She has a special charm and style to her with her battle hungry nature.
She will never betray you as long as she knows that you are stronger than her and can fight her.
Alex likes these kind of girls because you don't have to be wary of them and thinking all day that something might happen behind your back.
"That's fine, we will wait for you to handle this matter". Lex nodded his head and agreed with Alex's words readily.
Nothing could be better than one more ally for them to fight the Crime Syndicate.
