Devouring company shares

"If he can withstand my powers his welcome. It will be annoying if he looks at me with lustfull eyes." Aurora said as she enjoyed the fruit.

This was none other than the Fruit of Immortality. One would become an immortal being if they managed to eat it. The fruit contained immense vitality. It could also regenerate body organs.

But this fruit was nolonger of great use to them. It offer little benefits. At their level few things could cause them harm. They could live for as long as they weren't killed. The had already transcended immortality.

"What are you going to do about those false gods descending?" Aurora asked as she leaned back.

"That's none of my business. Earth has many protectors. It would be me adding unnecessary tasks on my lap. Let them come, some of them are in for surprises." She said and paused.

"Am more concerned about Earth's evolution. Its in the 2nd Order phase. Its about to enter 3rd Order. By then it will be about to sustain Godly presences without causing much damage. That's when they will descend. Earthlings still have sometime to prepare." Her melodious voice sounded with a hint of expectation. At her power level, being on Earth for too long would cause more harm than good to the world.

"It won't be long. I already sensed some changes. That planet is sure maturing faster as if its after something." Aurora said.

The ladies continued their chat peacefully. They joked and laughed. Their laughter filled the air. It sounded like music to the ears.

At Mizuki's Mansion, the mother-daughter duo could be spotted. They were dressed formally.

A conference was going on. Mizuki had made sure to devour all William's company shares swiftly at Karl's request.

It wouldn't have been possible if not for the woman beside her. Her mother was what one could call a professional business woman. With her political power in play, this was just a child play.

Karl had already told them his plans and they were okay with it. Mizuki was now the acting CEO of 4 multimillionaire companies.

It was so as this wouldn't rise any suspicion upon Mizuki. This could not be said for Karl as the government wouldn't give him a breath telling him to explain himself.

Currently several figures could be seen on the screen. It was an online conference. These were the remaining company officials and share holders.

They were here at the call of the new CEO. But imagine their surprise when they spotted Yiroshime. This was none other than the New York City Mayor.

The young woman beside her had similar striking features like hers. She appeared to be a young version of her.

Those who had come to stir trouble immediately correctly themselves. Mizuki knew there would be some morons who wouldn't sit still luckily Yiroshime 'insisted' to appear during the conference.

They all assumed smiles from all ears. Some of them had dreamt of meeting her. Imagine their delight knowing that their CEO had a very strong backing in the government.

"Congratulations Madam! Its a rare opportunity to have you as the CEO of the company." A man who appeared to be in his 60s said with a smile.

As if on clue, one by one immediately followed. Generally they were happy. Who wouldn't be once you knew you had a supreme authority as your backing.

"Thanks for your compliments. As you all know your company has gone through a disastrous 'crisis'. Luckily for you, it caught an eye of my dear daughter and decided to have it. So if you have any questions ask now before we move on." Her mature voice echoed. It carried a womanly charm given how beautiful she was.

The discussion commenced. A new power structure was made. New employees were to be deployed filling up vacant positions.

Mizuki was really grateful for her mother's aid. Yiroshime dealt with everything swiftly. It wasn't that she was slacking but she sometimes kept mum enjoying her mother's professional approach on this matter.

Politics was a dirty game. Everyone knew that. So it didn't come as a surprise for Yiroshime to be skilled in crowd control.

After 2 hours of serious talk, the conference ended. Everyone resumed their normal routine.

"You were quite pleasant to see there. Thanks for the support though." Mizuki said guininely.

"I would do anything for my daughter. That's not a big deal dear you just have to get used to it." Yiroshime said calmly but..

"What was Karl really thinking. This thing isn't normal in whichever direction I see it. Seizing multimillionaire companies overnight is sure unheard of. But I like it. That company wasn't clean either. I think your mate has good potential dear. How about we..." Yiroshime said with a smile.

"Don't even think about that you old hag." Mizuki shouted in irritation.

"Who do you call old young girl. Am very young by supernatural standards you know." She defended herself.

"I will get going my business here is done. Goodbye." Mizuki picked her property and stormed off to her room. She had much to think about morethan this old woman's blabbering.

She was getting irritated by Yiroshime's teasing. That woman really knew how to make her lose her cool. She just wanted to see Karl's fight.

Yiroshime had already got a recording. With her power, this was child's play.

Seated on a couch, Yiroshime thought about Karl's battle mostly with that devil. That creature was simply terrifying. It would have killed thousands of innocents if it wasn't dealt with faster.

It's strength wasn't the real deal but it's corruption energy which would transform humans into mindless beasts attacking each other in the process.

All in all she was grateful that Karl ended it. Though she also lost track of him much like Mia.

She was in a good mood today. It was not everyday that you entrusted someone something very enticing as power and millionaire companies but Karl did it without hesitating.

She was around when he requested Mizuki to takeover the role. Her daughter was hesitating not because she was incompetent but this was a huge shock to both of them.

Seeing her hesitating, Yiroshime gave her a final push with a promise to aid her where she sees fit. She had already considered him Mizuki's mate given her daughter's feelings for him.

'Everything about you is now strange. You awakened your powers not even a month has passed but your this powerful. Reaching Emperor rank at 21, and defeating a Legendary supernatural creature. This is getting interesting. How would it be if I was younger...ah forget about it.' She thought. She stood up and approached the balcony.

Inside her room, Mizuki was making different facial expressions from time to time. Shock, worry, delight and sadness. She couldn't look away as she continued to watch intensively.

The battle would only be described in one word: Catastrophic. Everything was reduced to nothing. The base became ruins.

Burnt corpses could be seen almost everywhere. A blood mist clouded the place proof of the ongoing one-sided slaughter.

What caught her attention was the beautiful golden sword. Even from here, she could picture the sword's mighty. It was in no way a normal sword.
