Chapter 26: Black Spider of Calamity

Vaness smiled and leave from the adventurer's guild after hearing what he wants from there.

At first, Vaness wants to take Elsa and Shin with him but he changes his mind. After all, doesn't this a chance for him to activate his bloodline?

Of course, Vaness really didn't will just give his head like that, but he will fight with all he got and see can that Black Spider of Calamity kill him.

Vaness gets out of the town and immediately walks toward the southern wasteland.

On the way to the southern wasteland, Vaness sorts out the information he got and has about this Black Spider of Calamity.

"I am a little bit confused, what kind of goods that people deliver through the southern wasteland? Even those goods can attract the Black Spider of Calamity maybe it is some kind of rare material that can be used to make a magic weapon? Whatever it is not my business and my purpose right now is Black Spider of Calamity itself.", Vaness said to himself.

After a while, Vaness sees the carriage accompanied by several people walking through the Wasteland.

Vaness seeing this his eyes brightening, "Looks like, I didn't have to think about bait to lure Black Spider of Calamity anymore."

With that, Vaness followed the carriage quietly from behind to make sure he didn't get discovered. Vaness walk quite far away from the carriage.

Just like Vaness thought, not long after he followed them the ground suddenly got trembled like something big running towards here.

*Boom Boom

The big black shadow coming from afar with astonishing speed looking at the red light shining from that shadow makes people around the carriage run away immediately including the person inside the carriage.

"Rarrrghh.", The big black spider with ferocious appeared in front of the carriage and start to attack the carriage and eat everything inside of it.

Vaness looking at this from afar, "What the hell!? This black spider is truly things that can be called a monster. Without any thought but just eating and hunger on it is mind. The strength is also stronger than Shin in various ways. Good, good, I hope it can kill me."

After, all people in the carriage and the black spider almost finished eating the good inside of the carriage. Vaness immediately run with his shield and use provocation to the black spider.

The black spider who still eating got affected by the provocation and immediately becomes angry, throws away debris in its hand then runs towards Vaness. After all, at this time this black spider has only hunger in her mind so attacking her at the time her eating obviously makes her angry than any before.

The black spider comes to Vaness and attacks him directly with her legs. Vaness block it with his shield but because of that, a crack appeared at Vaness's shield.

Vaness got surprised when seeing this, after all, his shield was already broken once when fighting Shin and already got enhancement but still because of its black spider attack, his shield got cracked again.

'Looks like, this black spider is much stronger than I thought.', Vaness thought while holding the black spider attack.

Look at her attack got blocked black spider got angry and attack with all her other arms frantically.

Vaness looking at this, "What the--!?"

Doesn't need Vaness to finish his words he got blown away by a powerful force brought by the black spider's frantic attack.

Even his shield got broken because of this attack.

His armor also got cracked a lot that looks like will break down after a few touches.

"Ugh... Damn it! It hurts!", Vaness tried to get up but suddenly he sees the black spider already come close to him again. Although he didn't get injured from outside because of his armor, shield, and also enhancement that he got from Shin's contract, still it hurts to get thrown away like that by this black spider.

"Ahhh!", Vaness immediately gets up and dodges the incoming charge from a black spider.

Looking at his shield already got repaired he didn't hesitate to try to use hydra, but, at the moment he take out Dark Moon suddenly the black silk appeared and nail his Dark Moon to the ground.

Vaness looking at this tries to take Dark Moon but can't because this black silk is quite strong and sticky. Seeing the black spider who already come towards him again, Vaness got forced to run.

Vaness looks back at his Dark Moon, and then Black Spider who just pass it, he immediately sighs in relief, "Fortunately this black spider didn't eat my Dark Moon."

Even, his Dark Moon got eaten maybe just got in distress for a while, after all, there must be a necessary sacrifice to get something. With that, if he has to sacrifice his Dark Moon to get Black Spider then he can accept it gladly. Although, it is much better if he has fewer losses in this battle.

Vaness seeing that he didn't have any skills, also got into a dilemma, "Damn, if I know like this I should learn some means to attack first. Looks like after this is over I will try to find a good attack skill."

Looking at the skill that he can rely on to attack is only a Great fireball with a long chant. He wants to cry without tears.

With that, he continues to run from the black spider as fast as he can, "Haiss looks like there is nothing I can do except die right now."

After Vaness makes his discussion he immediately takes back all his equipment. After all, he is afraid that his equipment got eaten by this black spider. As for Dark Moon, it is safe that the black spider didn't eat it.

Vaness stops his movement, turns his body towards the black, and reaches out his hands to welcome the black spider, "Come on! Black Spider Kill Me!"

The Black Spider who saw this also didn't hesitate to open her scary big mouth towards Vaness.
