Game Of Thrones: Reborn AS Pokémon

In a world where the faith of the Old Ones, ancient and faceless gods residing in the green wood, once thrived among the First Men and the Children of the Forest, a shift occurred with the Andal Invasion. The Faith of the Seven gained prominence, leading to the destruction of weirwoods in the southern realms, except for the Isle of Faces guarded by green men. However, in the North, the faith in the Old Ones persisted, with every castle maintaining a Godswood and a heart tree adorned with mysterious faces. Unlike other mortal gods, the identity of the Old Ones remained elusive, represented only by weirwood trees, sometimes resembling a horned deity. The rulers of the First Men, instead of adorning themselves with precious helms, chose antler helms, considering them divine symbols connecting to their bloodline origins. Enter Jay, who, after a reincarnation, unexpectedly becomes the God of Life, Xerneas, inadvertently revitalizing the faith in the Old Ones. This sets the stage for a story exploring the clash of ancient beliefs, the resurgence of a forgotten faith, and the mystical journey of a Pokémon deity reborn in a world torn between dead and living.

Chapter 30

As Sansa lay on her bed, tears streaming down her face, her mind was a whirlwind of confusion and despair. The weight of her father's imprisonment bore down on her like a heavy chain, dragging her dreams of being queen into the depths of hopelessness.

She couldn't shake the image of her father, once so proud and strong, now confined to a cell, accused of crimes he didn't commit. How had everything gone so horribly wrong? And where was Arya, her dear sister, in all of this chaos? The uncertainty gnawed at her heart.

Surrounded by the stone walls of her chamber, Sansa felt suffocated by the presence of guards stationed just beyond her door. They were meant to protect her, they said, but she couldn't shake the feeling of being trapped, of being watched every moment of the day.

What was she to do? Every choice seemed impossible, every path strewn with thorns. Should she speak out against the injustice, risking her own safety and the safety of her family? Should she remain silent, a pawn in someone else's game?

Then she heard a peculiar sound roused her from her melancholy thoughts. Her gaze darted towards the window, where the soft rustling of leaves mingled with an odd gibbering noise. A nervous flutter danced in her chest as she cautiously rose from the comfort of her bed, her eyes fixed on the source of the disturbance.

Suddenly, a shadow loomed outside, accompanied by the sound of dragging chains. Sansa's breath caught in her throat as she backed away, fear coursing through her veins. Should she call for the guards? But what if it was just her imagination?

Then, to her surprise, a monkey appeared, its small form clambering through the window with a chain around its neck. Sansa blinked in astonishment. A monkey inside Red Keep? It was a rare sight indeed.

For a moment, Sansa hesitated, unsure of how to react. The monkey stared back at her with curious eyes, extending its hand as if seeking a hug. Sansa's fear began to ebb away, replaced by a cautious curiosity.

She tentatively reached out her hand, waving gently in the monkey's direction, silently urging it to leave. But instead of fleeing, the monkey lifted its hand toward her, as if asking for a hug.

At first, Sansa hesitated, unsure of how to approach the little monkey who seemed determined to charm her. But as she cautiously moved closer, the monkey wasted no time in leaping into her hand, causing Sansa to jump in surprise. Though it startled her, she couldn't help but be amazed by the creature's boldness and friendliness.

For a brief moment, the monkey's antics worked like magic, calming Sansa's racing heart. But soon enough, the weight of her worries came crashing back down on her. Her father's imprisonment and her sister's disappearance loomed large in her mind, overshadowing the fleeting joy brought by the monkey's presence.

Unaware of the commotion outside her chamber, where the guards tasked with watching over her were surely puzzled by the unexpected visitor, Sansa remained lost in her own world of concern.

Suddenly, the monkey in her hand let out a cheerful giggle, indicating it wanted to be put down. Sansa complied, gently lowering the creature to the ground.

The little monkey, determined to lead Sansa outside, tugged at her skirt with all its might. But Sansa resisted, unwilling to follow the creature's lead. In response, the monkey began to make noise, causing Sansa to panic and quickly cover its mouth to prevent any further commotion.

Despite Sansa's attempts to calm the monkey, it persisted, pounding on the door in a desperate bid to get her attention. Fear coursing through her veins, Sansa scooped up the monkey, hoping to silence its cries and avoid alerting the guards stationed outside her chamber.

To her surprise, there was no response from the guards, and as Sansa cautiously approached the door, she realized why. The guards lay on the floor, their eyes wide open, yet unmoving. It was a scene that made no sense to Sansa, leaving her puzzled and apprehensive as she tried to make sense of the sight before her.

Despite her hesitation, Sansa stepped outside her chamber, her curiosity piqued by the strange sight of the motionless guards. As she approached them, she couldn't shake the feeling of their eyes following her every move.

Then, to her horror, a wasp emerged from one of the guard's bodies, making her step back. Without another thought, Sansa felt the urge to flee, but something held her back, a lingering uncertainty that only needed a gentle push to overcome.

It was then that the monkey, ever persistent, tugged at her once more, urging her to follow. Despite her misgivings, Sansa yielded to the monkey's guidance, unable to resist its determined pull. She didn't stop to question why she was following a monkey instead of fleeing to safety.

Together, they ventured down a strange passage, Sansa's regret growing with each step until they reached a dead end. Just as she was about to turn back, the monkey gestured towards a specific brick in the wall, silently pleading for Sansa to push it.

Though she didn't understand why, Sansa obeyed, and in an instant, a hidden passage revealed itself before her astonished eyes. Shocked by the discovery and bewildered by the monkey's knowledge, Sansa barely had time to process before the creature leaped into the passage, beckoning her to follow.

With no other option than to trust the mysterious monkey, Sansa cast aside her doubts and followed, her heart pounding with both fear and excitement as they ventured into the unknown.
