Chapter 18

Author's note: Ladies, Gentlemen and everything in-between. Sorry for not updating for a while after countless days of writing non stop, i had to take a little break. Not just that but also to get fresher ideas so the story does not go stale like so many of the best fanfics or novels so, without a further adieu let's get back to the story:-

The aftermath of the fight shook the world asunder, many people after seeing the results of the fight which could be described as Inhuman or as Gods that fight amongst men were terrified. Many world leaders had to address to their citizens that the invasion was averted, but many of the humanity darker side wished to get rid of the Alien amongst them.

For them that would be bad for business and even the leaders of the underworld feared him, so as the old saying goes "Humans fear what they don't understand" rang true, the scientists tried to find a way to combat or control powers beyond their grasp.

After getting home he tossed the body of zod to his inventory figuring that he could do something with it, also in order to keep the Kryptonian corpse out of the hands of other humans. His armor turned into regular clothes, now wearing a t-shirt, jeans, boots with black leather jacket. Splitting ways Godwin went home to call his sister to bring back the child as the danger has passed, with Lucy back Jacob took her to the park and bought her all the sugary treats she wanted before she fell asleep. Carrying her sleeping body with her head on his shoulder, the duo drew attention to themselves with women whispering about the cute father and daughter.

It's been seven months since the showdown and people calmed down mostly, our MC's currently relaxing on the sofa with a cup of hot cocoa that is similarly in the hands of Lucy who's sitting beside him watching her favorite cartoon. He did not know what to do at this point. His powers over reality faded within himself and no longer under his control, temporarily at least. So he tried to think of what else he could do, he had Asgardian physiology, had an over powered armor, had the Omnitrix and not to mention the speed force. There's so many things he could have done but he had no idea what he could do, the events of the man of steel two is still six years ahead. Now he could have been preparing but seeing that he did not leave any Kryptonian tech neither Zod's body to humans. He could safely say that he broke the future events that would have triggered the emergence of Darkseid, so yeah, but then again he was in DC so something's bound to happen soon.

The Good news is, the particle accelerator exploded two months ago, bad news he had to wait seven more months before the start of the flash events. As he was thinking about this he then remembered about the clone of Faora, still sleeping in his pocket dimension, so taking the sleeping child to bed he then sped off to another safe base he had built in the south pole since Superman took the north.

He then approached to a random area when a random small tendril attached to his fist, confirming the authenticity of his arrival. Walking inside would make nearly had everything a superhero nerd to ever need, so after he had arrived to the med room he freed her from the pocket dimension. Laying her down he bit down on his tongue, she was stunning beyond belief before he shook his head. Removing the tag of sleep from her, she took some minutes before she started to stir awake. Looking at Mc she tilted her head her hair swinging with the motion, seeing that he had her attention he asked "How are you feeling?" Looking at him he saw that she furrowed her brows in concentration before saying " I don't know, I'm not in Krypton but I have it's memories, I'm not a human but have the memories.....so to answer, no i have no idea." Seeing the confusion she's going through he said "Memories may be important, but the experience of living now and today is also important. We can never change the past as much as we wish to, the future however the future is something that we can determine."

She was still looking at his eyes as he was telling her what was on his mind, before she nodded and asked "Will you help me?" Jacob looking at her with a smile said "I will, You don't have to be alone." To which she gave him a grateful smile, he then helped her on her feet before saying "If you need new equipment let me know." She then turned her head looking all around the room before she asked "who's the child?" Clearly knowing that she was using her x-ray vision he answered with pride" That's Lucy, my little bundle of joy"

Looking as the sleeping child she smiled at the innocence of her, he then made a plan as he knows what he's going to do now. After some weeks of introducing the girls to each other Faora's clone which he named Alara, she had quickly gotten attached to the little munchkin. Knowing that as a speedster he could do more than running fast he planned to hop to a different dimension, so after letting Godwin know about him being gone for a while, as well as giving Alara the responsibility of taking care of Lucy.

Appearing in the desert of Colorado he made the suit cover him, now armored he took his runner's stance before he started to vibrate with lightning sparking off of him be blasted off. As he was running he began to increase his speed as well as his vibration before a portal appeared before him before he vanished.

Appearing in a deserted alley he looked around his location, seeing where he was he thought 'well i hope i managed to land where i intended.' before blitzing off to a nearby city, upon reaching it he saw that he was in Keystone City before blitzing off to Central City. Once he got there he looked through all the news papers to know where he was, before he saw the news of zoom beating the flash yesterday.

'Huh. Turns out I'm in the zoom's period, oh well may as well have some fun.' he said with a smirk before speeding off.

(S.T.A.R. labs)

Back at S.T.A.R.Labs Cisco got an alert of a speedster running around the city, contacting the rest of the team. With Barry still unconscious they did not know what to do "Is it Zoom?" Asked Caitlin, Cisco looking at the monitors answered "i have no idea." Dr. Wells and Joe looked at one another before the professor said "It may be him, but i don't think that zoom would be around in the day. He mostly attacks at night." While they where contemplating about the speedster, they then saw the very speedster standing in front of S.T.A.R.Labs through their security footage. It was dressed similar to Zoom but different, the speedster then looked towards the camera before waving his hands.

Coming out, the crew did not go out unarmed as Cisco was in his Vibe persona, Caitlin with their ice gun, Harrison with his anti speed cannon and lastly Joe with his hand gun. Looking at him Cisco said "Who are you, and what do you want?!" Looking as the visor squinted at them the speedster asked in an amused tone "What's with the hostile welcome?" Caitlin answered "Well we don't know you do we, not to mention we were attacked yesterday by another speedster. So can you really blame our reaction?"

They saw the speedster shrugging then replied as his visors turned normal as he sat on the floor relaxing "Well i suppose i can't really blame you can i? Okay then let's get the show on the way. I am Blitzshade, a hero from another dimension looking for fun." They only looked at him in disbelief, Cisco then nerdded out " Another what??? Dimension? Come on man, what do you mean? I know about different Earths and Multiverse, But dimension?"

The team looked at Cisco before Caitlin slapped the back of his head "Hello? Unknown Speedster in front of us?" Before he looked at her sheepishly, paying attention to the speedster ahead of him he asked "Well you have a cool name that's for sure, but how can we trust you? Are you a Barry from another dimension?"

"Nah i got my speed before he did, as for the proof well... I did fight in an alien invasion back at my world. As for my identity i could show you, but I'd rather do so in a private location." Answered Blitzshade, Harrison looking at him asked "Which Aliens?" Before Blitzshade replied "Oh i doubt you may had heard, but i fought the Kryptonians." Seeing the shocked look on Harrison's face, Joe asked "what are they?" Harrison without looking at him answered "They are an advanced alien civilization that existed for thousands of years, they look similar to humans but are incredibly powerful. One of them have the capability to destroy a country on their own , but for them to attack?"

The rest of the team paled hearing this, it was something simply above what they had ever faced. To think this person in front of them faced an invasion is something unbelievable, and now here he was. It seems like their chance of facing Zoom was very high as long as he became their ally. "Soooo.....what now?" Asked Blitzshade as he looked at them, looking at each other they escorted him back to the lab with their weapons aimed at him.

Blitzshade looked all around the cortex in awe as a fan of the flash, and now here he was looking at the mannequin wearing The Flash's costume "So Blitzshade was it? Can you introduce yourself now?" Asked Cisco as the rest gathered behind him, turning back to them the mask slid off his face like tendrils revealing his handsome face. Looking at them with a confident smirk he said "The name's Jacob Turner, ex marine now hero." They all then got familiar with one another, everyone asking him questions with him answering some of it while keeping quiet on some. Caitlin then asked "Do you know Zoom?"

He looked at her saying "Nope, is the the speedster that beat up Barry?" They all looked at him before Harrison said "Yes...he is, he is an extremely dangerous individual that enslaves or kills anyone who stands in his way. He has my daughter, so i need to know now. Can you beat him?" Hearing the silent plea for help Jacob said "I too have a daughter, so i understand your pain. I'll see what I can do, where's Barry?" Cisco answered "He's in the sickbay, Zoom put him through the grinder yesterday." The system beeped with the notification that Barry's awake causing Cisco and Caitlin to run to sickbay to check on him.

Upon helping him after checking his condition they wheeled Barry to the Cortex with Cisco saying something about a surprise, he then saw a very muscular stranger hanging around the Cortex with Harrison and Joe. The stranger turning around he saw the stranger look at him with recognition, smiling at him the stranger said "Well well well, the fastest man alive in the flesh." Turning his head to the stranger he said "How do you know me, who are you? Are you one of Zoom's minions?" The stranger only guffawed in laughter before saying "Please.....me?...work for....(Laughing)....yeah, no. I work for no one except for myself."point to his chest as he said this.

"Allow me to introduce myself, i am Jacob Turner, as for why am here? (His clothes shifting to his armor) well I'm a speedster from another dimension." The now named Jacob Turner said.
