Chapter Seven: Team Fog Vs. Metal Silver
CHAPTER SEVEN
TEAM FOG VS METAL SILVER
Fog is still currently kneeling in front of Velocity looking Velocity in his eyes
Onyx is looking at Fog with a surprised look
ONYX
"Did dying fry your brain Fog? He just did it once. What makes you think he can do it again?"
Fog looks at Onyx and stands up
FOG
"I believe he can."
Fog looks in the distance where the fire is at it's strongest
FOG
"We have to end this fight here and now. And Velocity is the best way for us to do it."
Onyx sighs
ONYX
"Then what's the plan?"
FOG
"I'll confront Metal Silver and bring him over here to you guys."
Fog looks at Onyx
FOG
"Then you and I will constrain him to the best of our abilities."
Fog looks at Velocity
FOG
"Then it'll be your turn to touch him and speed up it's time. Turning it into rust."
Onyx sighs
ONYX
"That sounds like a crazy plan. Are you sure it's going to work?"
FOG
"It's going to have to."
Fog looks at Velocity
Velocity looks at the ground with an unsure look
Fog notices this
Fog kneels before Velocity and places his hand on Velocity's shoulder
FOG
"You can do this Velocity. Just remember your training."
Fog stands up and looks at the two Anthromorphs
FOG
"Everyone agree on this plan?"
Onyx sighs
ONYX
"I suppose so. Let's do this."
VELOCITY
"Yeah… Sure..'
Metal Silver picks up a rock with his psychokinesis abilities and throws it in the direction of a building. Causing the building to crumble to the ground. Leaving a tidalwave of smoke in the process
FOG
"Hey!"
Metal Silver looks at the direction of Fog
FOG
"Remember me?"
METAL SILVER
"HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?"
FOG
"Maybe you just didn't try to kill me good enough."
Metal Silver scans Fog and sees no injuries
METAL SILVER
"THEN I'LL MAKE SURE TO KILL YOU FOR REAL THIS TIME."
In a blink of an eye Metal Silver flies over to Fog as it gets to punch Fog through the chest
The millisecond before Metal Silver could hit Fog, Fog bends his back and throws himself to the ground, dodging the attack
The momentum of the attack causes Metal Silver to continue to go in the direction Metal Silver was punching toward
As soon at Metal Silver is a little less than a meter away Fog jumps up and turns around to look at Metal Silver
Fog then jumps toward Metal Silver and kicks the robot straight in the back. Sending the android straight into the ground
Metal Silver gets up and turns around, looking at Fog with an angry stare
Metal Silver lifts his hands and they start to glow green
The rubble around Metal Silver starts to float and spin around Metal Silver
Fog looks at Metal Silver with a worried look
Fog looks back in the direction of Velocity and Onyx
FOG (MUTTERS)
"I hope you're ready."
Velocity sits on a piece of rubble pondering
Onyx looks at Velocity with a concerned look
ONYX
"You better get ready kid."
Onyx looks in the direction Fog went
ONYX
"Fog should be here with the hunk of scrap any minute now."
Velocity grits his teeth
VELOCITY
"Do you think I can really do this?"
Onyx looks at Velocity
VELOCITY
"I'm just a kid. Who just got his abilities. I don't know if I can really do this and win.
Velocity looks at the ground
VELOCITY
"I don't even know if I can even control my powers properly."
Onyx sighs
ONYX
"I don't really know if you can do it either."
Velocity looks up at Onyx
ONYX
"All I know is Fog believes in you and I believe in him. So just don't mess this up."
Velocity looks at the ground
Velocity clenches his fist
"I'll try."
Fog and Metal Silver stare at each other. Only about twenty feet apart
Fog turns around and starts to sprint in the direction he was looking at
Metal Silver starts to fly and uses it's abilities to hurl any rubble it can pick up at Fog
Fog dodges the debris but as he back at Metal Silver he sees a chunk of a building being thrown and it's about to hit him
Before the chunk could hit Fog, he drops to his back and it flies over him, missing him
Metal Silver starts to speed up
Before Metal Silver could catch up, Fog jumps up and starts to run as fast as he can. Parkouring through the ruins of the city to get some ground away from Metal Silver
But he is making sure to maintain a good distance. So he can lure Metal Silver properly
Fog looks forward
FOG
"I'm almost there!"
A sharp piece of metal then protrudes the back of Fog's left thigh. Causing Fog to fall onto his face. Flying forward because of the momentum he built from running. Causing him to fly at least thirty feet forward
Onyx peeps her head out and looks at Fog
Fog looks back at Onyx and winks
Onyx looks down at Velocity
ONYX
"You better get ready, kid."
Velocity jumps up
VELOCITY
"Okay!"
Velocity starts to sweat
VELOCITY
"What will you do?"
Onyx takes out a gun out of her pocket
ONYX
"Joining the fight."
Onyx jumps out of the cover and shoots Metal Silver in the head before he could get to Fog
The bullet bounces off of Metal Silver's head
Metal Silver looks toward Onyx with a glare
Onyx runs to Fog's side
ONYX
"You okay?'
FOG
"I should be. He just got my leg, I'll survive."
ONYX
"Good, we're going to need you."
Fog slowly stands sup
FOG
"I know."
Fog stretches his arms
FOG
"You ready?"
Onyx smiles
Onyx cocks her gun
ONYX
"Born ready."
Onyx and Fog start to sprint toward Metal Silver, switching spots to Fog on the left and Onyx on the right
Onyx starts to shoot Metal Silver with a barrage of bullets
METAL SILVER
"FURTHER SHOTS MAY DAMAGE SYSTEMS."
Metal Silver floats rubble from the ground to form a shield to block Onyx's gunshots
Fog comes in from Metal Silver's right and gets ready for a monstrous kick
Metal Silver catches Fog's leg
METAL SILVER
"YOUR RESISTANCE IS FUTILE."
FOG
"No, it's not."
Metal Silver warning sensors go off
Metal Silver turns around to look for Onyx
Fog twists his body and uses his other leg to kick Metal Silver to the ground, causing it to face plant
Fog looks up and sees a light in the sky
Fog jumps back to get some distance away from Metal Silver
Before Metal Silver could realize he gets hit in the back by an RPG. Causing a crator in the area around Metal Silver
Onyx sits in the air with a smoking RPG smiling, flying with her wings
Onyx's RPG then transforms back into her usual pistol
Onyx starts to fall from the air and flies to Fog, standing next to him
Metal Silver slowly stands up from the crater he is in
Metal Silver starts to float up to a little bit above eye level of Onyx and Fog
"I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU!"
Metal Silver raises his hands as the ground starts to shake around Onyx and Fog
The ground starts to split
Fog looks at the ground. Then at Onyx with a worried look
FOG
"We have to end this here and now."
ONYX
"No crap, Sherlock."
Fog starts to run toward Metal Silver as Onyx flies
Metal Silver looks down at the two Anthromorphs with a stern stare
Metal Silver uses his powers to take giant chunks out of the ground, forming boulders
Metal Silver throws one at Fog and one at Onyx
Onyx flies out of the way of hers. Retreating a little bit
Fog jumps to the side onto a building. Then gets ready for a big jump
Fog's left thigh starts to spurt out blood
"Have to ignore it."
"JUST DO IT."
Fog uses all of his leg muscles to do a monstrous jump over 60 feet into the air! Just above Metal Silver
FOG
"ONYX!"
Onyx sees Fog and flies to him as fast as she could
Onyx grabs Fog
FOG
"You know what to do."
Onyx looks down at Fog
ONYX
"Are you sure?"
Onyx then proceeds to spit as fast as she can
FOG
"NOW!"
Onyx lets go of Fog and in a blink of an eye Fog flies straight into Metal Silver. Landing a monumental kick! With a huge "BOOM!" It sends Metal Silver and Fog straight into the crator. Making it even deeper!
FOG
"Velocity now!"
Velocity runs out of the cover toward the crator
Fog uses everything he has to pin Metal Silver to the ground. As Metal Silver starts to snap out of it's daze
Velocity jumps into the crater and runs toward Metal Silver and Fog
Metal Silver slowly starts to boot up again and move
Fog continues to hold Metal Silver down
Fog looks to Velocity
FOG
"Velocity now!"
Velocity looks at Fog with a scared look
Metal Silver's red eyes slowly start to glow again
FOG
"Velocity!"
Velocity takes a step back
FOG
"What's wrong?!"
Velocity looks at the ground with an unsure look
Velocity looks up at Fog
VELOCITY
"I don't know if I can do this or not. What it I can't control it?"
Velocity looks at the ground and clenches his fists
Velocity quickly looks up to Fog
VELOCITY
"What if I accidentally hurt you?"
Velocity looks at the ground shamefully
FOG
"Velocity."
Velocity looks up at Fog
Metal Silver starts to struggle even more as Fog barely manages to hold the android back
FOG
"It's okay to be scared."
Fog looks at Velocity
FOG
"I believe in you, son. Just try the best you can."
Velocity clenches his fists tighter than ever
VELOCITY
"Okay!"
Metal Silver manages to grab Fog by the throat and pick Fog up as they start to levitate
METAL SILVER
"YOU WILL DIE FOR GOOD THIS TIME!"
Velocity sprints as fast as he can to Metal Silver
Fog struggles to breath and continues to hold onto Metal Silver's arm
FOG
"N-not... Tod..ay."
Velocity touches Metal Silver
Velocity closes his eyes
"Just think. Speed up his time. Not Fog. Just Metal Silver."
Velocity thinks back to Fog
"I believe in you son. Just try the best you can."
Velocity opens his eyes
"I CAN DO THIS."
"I WILL WIN AND SAVE HIM, NO MATTER WHAT!"
Metal Silver starts to glow a bright blue
VELOCITY
"Turn to rust."
Metal Silver starts to now slowly turn silver to a deep dark orange, rusting from the inside out
The arm-holding Fog deteriorates and falls off. Dropping Fog to the ground.
Fog starts to cough profusely
Metal Silver looks toward Velocity and reaches it's remaining hand out to him
Metal Silver eyes start to flicker
Metal Silver eyes go dark and it turns to dust
Fog, panting, looks to the pile of dust and rust that was Metal Silver
FOG
"It's finally over."
