The Massacre (1)

"The Pack...The pack is under attack!

"What?" Leo shouted as he stood up.

"Who is attacking us?"

"It...It's ... the rogue Alpha," The guard replied, panting.

"Felix has attacked my pack? How dare he?" Leo shouted with rage. He turned to his Beta and Zeta and barked out orders.

"Charles, go arrange the soldiers and the guards. He mustn't break through the boundary."

"Yes Alpha," Charles marched off immediately.

Collins stayed behind to receive his orders."Collins, go Keep the women and children safe. Especially the humans in the pack."

"Yes Alpha," Collins bowed and rushed out to go fend off the enemies.

Leo rushed back to the house in search of Rose. "What happened? Why do you look so worried?"

"We are being attacked." He announced and immediately turned to leave.

"What?" Rose jumped up. "How come?"

"It's Felix. He is attacking us." Leo's response was short, expressing his fury.

"But how is that possible? He doesn't even have an army, How can he attack us?

"He already has, Rose." Leo picked up the keys and walked towards the door. "Stay in here while I go find Snow."

"Okay," Rose replied with a sigh.

Leo went towards the terrace, where Snow usually takes her lessons, but she was nowhere around there. He found her books, but no sign of Snow or her teacher.

"Snow!" He called out to her, but there was no response.

Where are you, Snow? Alpha Leo asked himself as he looked around for her. The earlier peaceful pack was now in disorder as everyone ran helter skelter, in search of a safe place.

"Did Felix take my daughter?" He thought.

His eyes darkened at the thought. With gritted teeth, he rushed back to the field.

"I will kill him if he harms my daughter. I will tear him to pieces!" He swore as he rushed inside to go check on Rose first.

"I have to go find Snow. She is not on the terrace." He explained, Making Rose jump.

"What? She is not there?" Rose exclaimed frightfully. "Where did she go?"

"Don't worry, I'll find her and bring her here." He assured her.

"Let me come with you," Rose offered, but Leo declined.

"No, just stay here. It's not safe outside." He kissed her before hurrying out.

"Please be safe," Rose cried, holding on to him.

"I will." Leo promised as he stepped away from her. He took a second glance at his wife before running off to battle.

He looked around in search of Snow, but he couldn't find her anywhere. Angrily, he trotted towards the boundary to find Felix.

He was met by Charles who was leading some more men towards the boundary. "What is the status?" He asked, concerned.

"We are outnumbered, Alpha," Charles explained, looking serious. "Felix came well prepared and he already knew all of our tactics."

"So, we are losing the battle?" He asked dreadfully.

"Yes Alpha. We need back up or we will lose our pack." Collins stated sadly.

"Where are all the strong wolves in the pack?"

"They were placed at the frontline, but most of them have fallen."

"And the Gamma wolves?" Leo wanted to believe that there was hope. That they could still win, but his hope shattered at Collins' next words.

"Most of them are gone."

"Gone? How come?" He asked, unbelievably.

"Felix had been planning this for a long time. He already knew the pack's strengths and weaknesses so he went for them first."

Leo nodded sadly at Collin's report. He felt sad for having to lose so many members of his pack in just one day. "We'll keep fighting. We won't give up our home so easily."

"Yes alpha," Collins bowed and moved with the soldiers.

Leo turned and called him. "Charles, have you seen Snow around?"

"No, I haven't," Collins replied.

"I have seen her," One of the men with Collins answered.

"Where is she?" Leo asked, with worry etched in his tone.

"She was taken to Felix."

"Who took her?" Leo's heart raced at the news.

His daughter was now with the enemy.

Leo wanted to know who did that to him. He wanted to know who betrayed him.

"It was Richard." The man replied.

"Richard?" Leo asked again.

He couldn't believe that the teacher who had taught Snow for the most part of her life would be one of the enemies.

"What? Richard kidnapped Snow? Leo's eyes widened. "He is one of the enemies?"

"Yes, Alpha." The man bowed sadly. "Richard betrayed us all."

"Felix!" Leo roared. "I won't let you get away with this!"

Leo knew that Felix had his eyes on the pack, but he expected him to fight honorably. He didn't know that his nephew had some sneaky plans up his sleeves. He didn't know that Felix had planted his spies everywhere in his pack and he trusted all of them.

Leo shifted into his wolf and dashed forward straight to the frontline. He attacked Felix and pinned him to the ground, digging his paw into his rib. His wolf climbed over Felix's, clawing and tearing into Felix's skin.

Felix howled loud in agony as Leo's paws dug into his neck.

At Felix's howl, many other wolves surrounded Leo and they all attacked him at once, giving no chance for him to fight back. They bit and clawed at him, and even though he was able to take out as many as possible, Leo still couldn't take them all.

"Hello, Cousin." Felix teased as he shifted back into a human. His neck was bleeding badly from Leo's attack.

The rogue doctor rushed to him and tried to touch him. "Let me treat your wound."

"No!" Felix shouted and pushed the doctor away. He looked towards Leo who was still struggling with his rogue army.

"I won't rest until I have killed him." Felix called more of his army and ordered them to capture Leo. "Tie him up in chains, don't let him get away!"

Leo was tied in chains and he slowly shifted back to his human self. He was stark naked and tired.

The rogue wolves lifted Leo effortlessly and chained him to the wall. All of Felix's army laughed seeing Leo's terrible state.

"Felix, where is my daughter?" Leo asked, through gritted teeth. If he was captured, there was no way he could find her, so he chose to ask him.

"Your daughter is safe with me, Cousin," Felix laughed.

"I will kill you if you harm her," Leo threatened.

Felix laughed and walked toward Leo. "Do you still think you can do anything to me in this state?" He shook his head and slapped Leo. "Look around Cousin, your pack is at my mercy, your family included."

Leo gnashed his teeth and roared. "Leave my family out of this, Felix!"

"I can't." Felix shrugged.

"This is between us, Felix, do not get them involved."

"Oh, dear cousin." Felix leaned forward to get close to Leo's face. "They are already involved."

"Felix, don't hurt them, they are innocent." Leo pleaded.

"No one around you is innocent!" Felix hissed. "You all deprived me of my right and now it's my turn."

Felix pointed to the side and Leo saw Rose tied to a tree and gagged. She was in bad shape and was bleeding in different part of her body.

"Felix, let her go now!" He barked, struggling to break the chains.

"Oh, he still gives orders." Felix laughed and his rogue army also joined in.

"Okay Alpha, I will let your wife go," Felix feigned fear and acted like he was trembling. His entire army laughed at his melodrama.

Leo glanced towards the other side and he saw Snow being tossed violently by one of Felix's soldiers. Her hands and legs were tied and her face showed that she had been beaten.

"Snow," Leo called out to her.

His eyes became teary as he looked at his daughter's condition. How could they treat his princess so badly?

"Father!" Snow cried as she launched forward to go to him.

She was immediately dragged in the hair by one of Felix's guards. "Where do you think you're going?"

"Let me go!" Snow shouted.

Leo was struggling to go to his daughter, but Felix pulled out a dagger and went towards Rose.

"Should I kill her or kiss her? He placed the dagger on her neck and kissed her. "Leo, now you'll watch how I make this woman whom you cherish so much...." Felix moved towards Rose and caressed her neck with the dagger. "Just watch how I make her mine."

He grabbed Rose's hair and made her look up at him. "I will give her so much pleasure that she will forget you and scream out my name instead."

"Felix, I'll kill you if you touch her!"

"Oh really?" Felix sniggered, he leaned forward to kiss her, but Rose took the dagger in his hand and slit her throat.

"Mother!"

"Rose!" Leo and Snow shouted respectively.

Snow yanked herself off the guard's hold and rushed to Rose. "Mother, why did you do that?"

"I would rather die than be defiled by an animal like him," Rose stated through heavy breaths.

"Take care of your father, Snow." Rose forced a smile. "I love you both."

Snow noticed that Rose's hands had fallen to the side and her eyes closed up. She tapped her cheek and shook her body.

"Mother! No. Mother, please open your eyes!"

Snow cried seeing Rose's body turn lifeless. Her eyes turned dark and she screamed in anger.

Leo noticed that Snow was about to do something. He managed to stagger up to his feet and called out to her.

"Snow, Don't!"
