Epilogue-Vacant Shell, Hollowed Hero

An endless storm continued amongst the world. As Rose and Bell continued driving a vacant road. Not a car to be seen, a hidden road as Rose had hoped. As her brake lights lit up, she comes to a complete stop and waits. With Bell right behind her unaware of what's happening.

Till a mechanical door raises from the ground big enough for a semi to enter through. As Rose slowly drives down the slope, Bell slowly follows her.

"What on earth is this place?" Bell wonders as they drive through a lit tunnel. Ru watching out the back window of Bell's truck, noticing the giant door closing.

A wide distance away from the city we see Okara nearly Bell's house. As he quickly rushes to check on everyone. Quickly landing Okara noticed Bell's truck gone, before instantly bursting through the door.

"Bell!! Are you here? Hello!!"

Okara anxiously searched through the house as panic filled his mind.

"Ru!! Bell!! Where are you?! Anyone!"

Okara searched the bedrooms, the bathrooms, and even the basement. No one was here.

The wind rushed through the broken parts of the house, the television's static noise filled the living room. As Okara stood emotional tears filled his eyes as he realized he's lost everything.

"Why! Why is this happening to me! What did I do to deserve this!"

In desperation for peace, Okara jerked over to the television and punched through it. Causing it to turn off. Falling to his knees as the glass bleeds him out by his arm.

"I don't want to live in a world without you... I don't want this world to exist anymore... This world."

Back at the mountains Astrid appeared before the chained up Salas's. He slowly looks up at his captor.

"Ah, the moment I've dreamt of! A body that will truly be able to break free of these constant restrains I have! Yes, I see it now! The things I can accomplish! The goals I can finally reach! This will truly become a time to rejoice for I will access Calamity!"

Salas spits at Astrid as he continues rambling.

"Choke on your words, you piece of shit."

"Now, now. We can't have such things coming from my new body! Why don't we get right to it! The anticipation is killing me!"

Astrid summoned his staff and tapped it against the ground. Summon another item before him a book. A dark leather book that's torn from aging. Salas's eyes widened as he realized what it was.

"I thought... That book was destroyed six millennia ago! How do you have it!"

"Please! I've had this book before you were even a thought in your disgusting race's parent's brains! I never needed to look for this book. I've had it stashed away from everyone and everything. This book will allow me to fulfill my goal."

Suddenly the book broke open and stuck itself between Salas and Astrid. Flipping through pages with information on every known power of the Lyrx race. Even the ability to transfer between separate bodies. The book stops as the needed pages were found.

"I won't let you!! Astrid!!" Salas screamed as he began struggling to unbind himself.

"Struggle all you want, but it's pointless. Those chains get stronger the more you fight to get free."

"Now then... Let's do this right."

Due to an unexpected event, Salas found himself in shock at the sight of Astrid's doing. As Astrid tossed his staff aside and ripped off his left arm. Blood spewed from the gruesome wound. Holding it in his right arm as he began the incantation.

"Em erofeb ydob wen eht to refsnart luos ym dna niard ydob siht fo doolb eht tel."

Suddenly the book began to pull white essence from both Astrid and Salas. Both their eyes changed to a black with yellow irises. As Astrid's body drains of blood, he made sure of one last thing before the transfer could be complete. He used his removed left arm, he struck himself in the heart with the protruding bone.

"Astrala sa nwonk wena etaerc dna Astrid dna Salas sa nwonk seno eht fo ecnetsixe eht evomer!"

Suddenly the white essence bleed black and began merging into the book itself. Once the book gathered enough of the essence it merged closer towards Salas's body before merging with him. While Astrid's body collapses to death, Salas's began to take anew.

As the book created a dark energy shell around the body, it slowly sank into it as well. Slowly from the bottom of the body. The dark shell split revealing a new being.

A being with mint-colored skin, rosy pink eyes, long crazy spiky hair that retrains the color of Salas's but also highlights the color of white from Astrid's hair, point ears, with fearsome fangs, and lastly a star-shaped scar on the center of his chest. That glows the color of his eyes.

"I am the Lyrx incarnate, the one that led them to their rise and fall... I am the very soul of what they were and will become. I am the rebirth of Astrala! The one true king of the Lyrx!"

Astrala rose to the sky his arms held out as the rain avoided him. Due to his immense pressure creating a barrier around himself.

Back in the destroyed city of New Westfall. Two familiar faces appeared roaming in search of something.

As they approach it they realize their time is very limited.

"Cinthea quickly, begin his recovering process."

"At once my Lord."

It was none other than Kessa and Cinthea. They were there to resurrect Crimson before it was truly too late.

Cinthea began reviving the fallen Crimson and Kessa continues assessing the situation.

"It seems we've fallen into dire times. Astrala has been reborn and Astrid and Salas are no more..."

"Yes, it does seem that way, my lord."

"But somethings bothering me, aren't Angel immortal how could Astrid had simply taken his own life?"

"From what I could gather my lord, it seems due to having broken multiple angel laws. Astrid was already nearing death. But due to the Lyrx gemstones and the Lyrxopus. It seems he managed to sustain living for a while longer."

"So he wasn't only needing to swap bodies, he was needing an entirely new body... What a monstrous thing to do."

"That's why he was dealt with long ago my lord... But it seems old memories don't like to be kept suppressed forever."

"It sure doesn't seem like that, that's true Cinthea... That's true."

Kessa looks over at Crimson and hisses quietly in frustration.

"He's our last hope, we're going to have to rebuild him if we truly want to save this world from a hellish apocalypse."
