Chapter 36-A Dark and Bitter Fate Part 2

The rain mixed with the blood of Crimson and Cassa, and Crimson slowly removed his arm from her stomach and gently laid her body onto the ground.

"Cassa... Cassa. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..."

Crimson couldn't stop shaking and to null the pain he ripped the metal from his arm and let himself bleed. As his knees sank into the mud, the rain patted down onto his body. A glow of yellow emerged from Cassa's body.

Crimson just stared at it without speaking a word. As the topaz floated before him, he didn't move or react. He just... Stared at it.

"Crisma... S-Save me... Free me from this, pain..."

The voice of the topaz spoke out to Crimson, or more so Crisma. However Crimson remained like

a statue. As the trauma was so much for his brain to handle.

"Crisma, please... I'm in so much pain. Brother, h-help me."

"GRAAAAHHHH!!!" Crimson screamed as agony took over, his body began acting on its own. He reached out and snatched the topaz using whatever power it had left to heal himself. Then placed it within his gi and stood up. Tears stream down his face as he grits his teeth in frustration.

"ALL THIS WAS BECAUSE OF YOU! WHY DO YOU GET TO ASK ME FOR HELP! WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST NOT TAKE OVER HER BODY WHY DID YOU HAVE TO CORRUPT MY HOME! WHY! WHY! WHY!!!"

Crimson sloppily stomped over in the mud towards the biomass hive. Anger in each step as he rips his feet from the mud.

"WHY! WHY! WHY WHY WHY!!! WHY WHY!!"

Crimson got closer and closer, as he screamed louder and louder. Thunder rumbled along with his voice. Trembling the diseases around him. Till he reached it and screamed at it again!

"YOU DISGUSTING CREATION, YOU ABSOLUTE MONSTER, FILTHY SHIT, YOU HORRID PIECE OF HELLSPAWN! WHY DO YOU WANT MY HELP WHEN YOU STARTED ALL THIS!"

Crimson punched the biomass and felt a sharp pain fill his head for a second.

"GAH! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!"

Crimson pressed his left hand against the biomass and headbutted it instantly. The pain suddenly spiked and caused him to stumble back. Lightning struck as Crimson shook it off and charged back in. Placing both hands against it this time. Instantly it felt like a knife was being shoved in and out, and twisted within his head. The longer he held on the worse it got. Crimson shot back once again. Causing more lightning to strike down behind him.

"Stop resisting me! I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU!"

Crimson took a minute to look behind him and shook his head, looking forward and giving it another go.

"AAAAGRAHHHHH!!!"

Crimson's nose began bleeding at the intense pressure placed within his head. The overwhelming amount of concentration to disintegrate something of this scale is completely impossible for him. Yet it should be, till ash slowly begins falling like ash the longer he holds on. The pain drives him mad as it takes over his body.

"ARGRAHHH!!!!!" Crimson screams monstrously as the final resolve left within him explodes, pulling him through the pain and finishing off the biomass. As the ash falls like snow a sudden beam of yellow light shoots into the sky. Signifying the cleansing of the biomass.

"There... You're-." Crimson stumbled back however a sudden eruption from the base of the biomass exploded giving him a strong and forceful push that launched him miles away. Crimson fell unconscious and his whereabouts become unknown.

"Oh... It seems the biomass was destroyed." Astrid says out loud. Down below Okara was on the ground beaten by Salas as even the Legendary Super Saiyan power couldn't win against him alone.

"Then... That settles it." Salas says removing his foot from Okara's back and stepping away from him.

"W-What are you..." Okara reached for Salas as he turned to look up at Astrid.

"Then what I heard was true... Astrid, you bastard to think we had the same goals in mind! I can't believe all this time you were using me!"

"What on earth are you talking about Salas?! Did Okara hit you so hard that random thoughts have popped into your head?"

Salas looks at Okara.

"Okara, that beam of light confirms it... It confirms everything I heard earlier. Even you said it yourself he never saw me an ally, only... a vessel!"

Salas helped Okara up and both stared up at Astrid as he began to manically laugh.

"So the jig is up then! You heard all of what I said earlier! That's unfortunate for you Salas! Because now this will be even harder for you than it would've been if you had never known!"

"Okara... I'm sorry to tell you this, but that light means the core of the biomass was destroyed."

"W-What are you saying?"

Salas looked Okara in the eyes and held nothing back.

"Cassa's dead Okara... That light was the signal of her demise."

Okara's hair covers his face as his chest tightens.

"You're lying... I don't believe you!"

"Whether you do or not! I'm simply making you aware of our situation! The biomass is gone! So is the core!"

"Shut up! Just shut up!"

Okara ripped himself from Salas's grasp.

"I'll never forgive you! Period! You killed my friends! My family! You think because you know the truth you can just change sides! NO! HELL NO!"

"So you'll let Astrid take my body and drive your world into further chaos all because you don't wanna team up with me!"

"I don't give two fucks if he takes your body... I won't help you even if it gets me killed!"

Salas grit his teeth and created a hakai within his left hand.

"Fine then!"

Salas launched the hakai at Okara and in a moment of a flinch, Okara closed his eyes ready to die right there. However, a sudden burst of energy filled his body as he opens his eyes.

"Then leave! Get out of here why you still can! It's me he wants! SO GO!"

Without a word of thanks Okara turned and burst off towards the pillar of yellow energy.

"I deserve every bit of what's coming to me."

Salas glares up at Astrid as he stares back down in disgust.

"Do you realize what you just did..." Astrid spoke sending a chill through Salas's body.
