Chapter 35-A Dark and Bitter Fate

Back in the corrupted village, Crimson is launched through another building, as Cassa savagely attacks him. Pouncing at him as the rain beats down on them. As she holds him down trying to bite into his neck, Crimson keeps her inches away. Both struggling for different things.

"C-Cassa, I don't wanna fight you! Just l-listen to my voice!"

Cassa broke through Crimson's struggle and ripped into his neck her fangs digging deep.

Crimson's mouth was open and trying to hold back his scream as blood drooled from his punctures. His throat closed as he couldn't let his breath out. So out of desperation Crimson lifted his left arm and placed his left hand against her stomach, instantly blasting her off him. Quickly putting pressure against his neck and standing up. Slightly shaking at the ferociousness of Cassa's new Lyrx power.

"The gemstones were never meant for everyone, to think it'd make something like this out of desperation... I can't keep hesitating. If I do things will end badly for me... No, not just for me... For the world, for Okara, and for the universe! I'm sorry Cassa, but If I can't get through to you. Then I'm gonna have to go through you to get to the hive!"

Crimson slowly moved his hand from his neck and examined the blood on his hand.

"After this, you might not see me the same... I just hope you'll give me the chance to explain everything."

Crimson steps out of the wreckage and Cassa leaps at him once again, instantly Crimson's eyes brighten red as he too unleashes his Lyrx powers.

"Haha! This reaction! It's splendid! You have that same fire I did! You have the attachment that I did! You're just like me!"

"Stop avoiding the question and tell me where she is!"

The ground around Okara erupted into a crater as he stood with fire in his eyes.

"She's quite alive, I'll tell you that! However, I'm not sure how long that'll last."

Okara's body began enlarging as the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan began taking over.

"GRAAAHHH!!!"

"Calm down a bit, would you! I haven't gotten to the best part! After all this time you've never wondered what's truly causing this parasitic disease! You never put two and two together to figure out that I used Cassa to start all of this!"

Words could not explain the anger Okara had felt, it was overwhelming the pressure began breaking down anything around him. His aura turned into a pillar and shot for the sky. As he continued listening to Astrid's words.

"Oh my, you're awake?"

From below Astrid watched as Salas slowly got up.

"W-What happened..."

"You went berserk so I had to calm you down before you destroyed the entire planet."

"I see... Sorry."

"Don't apologize to me, just deal with that."

Astrid pointed at Okara who was far from himself. He had become a furious and unchained monster. He has broken through every wall of Legendary Super Saiyan and unleashed its true power.

"What exactly did you do to get him this pissed off?"

"To reach a deep spot, you much attack the attachment to that said spot."

"Ah, so you told him then."

"In fact I did, he also knows about what's to come."

"What exactly is to come?"

"You already know that Salas, the destruction of the universe and all of its deities!"

"That's right, I remember now."

"Now show me, what this power increase of yours can do Okara!"

Without words, a vocal scream was all Okara let out as he charged heavily at Salas, while Astrid watched. His attention was split, also focusing on the direction of Cassa and Crimson. Causing a slight smirk on his face.

Cassa is seen pulling Crimson closer by his left leg as he tries reaching for the biomass. The entire time they've been fighting. Crimson has been trying to turn the biomass to ash. As he believes it will save Cassa entirely. So as she turns and drags him through the dirt, Crimson jams his fingers into the ground and builds a hold to stop her in her tracks. While the dirt filled in his hands Crimson turned his head to get a visual of Cassa. He quickly found her face breathing into his. Before she attempted to bite into him again. Crimson erupted his aura and blasted her off him. Getting up by the mounds of dirt in his hands and dashing towards the biomass. Tendrils also attempt to stop him as they trip him before turning to ash.

"Damn disease!" Crimson quickly gets up and rushes towards the biomass again, however from behind Cassa lands onto his shoulders and back and shoves him back into the ground. Her mouth was wide open as a ball of energy began forming

"Fuck!" Crimson shouted as he turned his head as far as it could go and unleashed a glare that created an invisible pressure barrier between his face and Cassa's blast. Struggling to keep it up long, Crimson managed to flip Cassa off his back and onto her's, pulling his head out of the way as the blast fires up into the sky.

Crimson quickly repositions to hold Cassa down as she swipes at him and slashes his arms open.

"Stop! STOP!"

Cassa continued struggling as the powers take over her, suddenly blasts began firing from her mouth blasting Crimson off into the sky and hastily to the ground like a guided missile. Crimson lays on his back noticing a burning within his left arm, as he turns to look he notices a piece of metal lodged through it. The pain gets to him and his irritation takes over, as he notices Cassa leaping at him once again. He gets up and without thinking. Crimson's right arm was thrusted through her stomach. Blood spewing out of her back and her attacks halting. Before he realizes what he's done.

The wound tries to close, but it couldn't due to Crimson's arm being in the way. So Cassa fell to her knees to level with Crimson, her yellow eyes turning back to black. As tears slowly filled them. Crimson could feel her shaking as she tried to speak.

"I-I-I-I'm sorry..."

Her final breath floated into the air as the rain mixed with the blood from her wound. Crimson's unable to move as he finds himself in shock at what he's done.

"I-I knew...(Crimson's eyes fill with tears and his voice breaks as he begins crying.) What I had to do... But I didn't have the strength to do it... I never wanted to do this."
