"Haruki's Path: Awakening and Determination"

Chapter 3:monsrtrosity mastery

It had been two days since the chaos of the goblin attack. Aria Haruki's mother had launched a high-level explosive spell to save the village, while Ryota Haruki's father helped with the village's rebuilding efforts. Meanwhile, Haruki went into the forest alone to train.

Ryota Haruki's father remembered, "After Aria saved the village, she explained to Haruki what happened during the goblin attack. Aria and I went to check on him, and we were both shocked to find that Haruki possessed all five elemental affinities, including light and dark. Seeing this, I became suspicious because three years ago, he didn't possess any mana. Aria explained that she believed Haruki's mana had been sealed by her curse, and after the curse was broken, Haruki's mana was released, which is why he didn't possess any mana three years ago."

Haruki ventured into the forest to train and discovered his new skill, "Monstrosity Mastery." He exclaimed, "I've regained my mana, which means my skills have awakened, and I can use magic! But how do I do that again? Let's see... Fireball! Oh, dear fire, please come to my hand! Why isn't it working? Let me ask my mother." Haruki ran to his mother to learn magic, and Aria taught him a basic low-level fire spell. However, Haruki struggled to perform it, and his mother reassured him, "If you train hard, you'll be able to do it properly."

Despite his efforts, Haruki couldn't cast the spell properly. Suddenly, a status bar appeared:

[LEVEL UP QUEST: KILL 20 SLIME]

"It feels like I'm playing a video game or something, and even my senses can be measured by numbers. If I kill 20 slimes, I can level up. Piece of cake!"

Haruki set out to find and defeat 20 slimes to level up. However, he realized that he was too slow due to his low agility. Despite his rigorous training, he couldn't defeat the slimes quickly enough. Determined to level up, he resolved to push himself harder.

As the sun set, Haruki realized that he was late returning home. Aria, his mother, expressed her worry, saying, "Haruki, why are you late? I was worried about you. I know you're training hard to become stronger, but don't push yourself too much." Ryota, his father, added, "Your mother is right. Don't overdo it." Haruki smiled and apologized, promising not to worry them again.

In his mind, Haruki vowed, "I will push myself to my limits and become stronger. I will kill the hero."
