Fate: I, Morgan, Queen Of The Lostbelt

The story follows Katherine, a lambda woman who has one kind of wish, but well, she was sent on her way by the venerable Truck-Kun and reincarnated as Morgan Le Fay. Now, here came the problem: would she follow the original pan-human history in order not to be erased by the counterforce, or would she choose to change everything, create an alternative timeline that may become a Lostbelt, eventually the Alien God's plaything?

Chapter 1: Katherine Morgan Le Fay

"And a new day begins with waking up tired."

After complaining, Katherine, or Katy as she preferred to be called, felt a bit better, but life had to go on. She quickly prepared herself as her class was in about 30 minutes.

This had been her daily routine for as long as she could remember, spending the night reading web novels and fanfics until she eventually fell asleep, only to be woken up by the alarm, feeling exhausted, and then heading off to school.

Sometimes, she felt life could be boring. But she wasn't the only one to think that. The cycle would eventually shift to working and coming home, with life continuing in repetitive circles, lacking anything exciting or different.

On her way out, she couldn't help but murmur, "My life is already good, especially compared to other people's, but humans are known as creatures who always want more. If only my life could be like Rudeus's…"

Although not girly, but she imagined going to another world, one filled with swords and magic, fighting to your heart's content, continue becoming stronger and eventually finding someone who can love you.

As if hearing her prayer, a truck that was going on its way normally suddenly rushed towards her; before her brain had time to breathe, she was slammed by the truck, and the scene wasn't good-looking.

People were screaming at the sight of the blood splashing everywhere along with some human organs, some calling the emergency, but in short, Katherine's life ended just like that, at least that's what people thought.

...

"By the blood of the old kings and the will of the gods, we crown thee, Arthur, ruler of this land, protector of the people, and bearer of the crown of unity."

This was the first thing Katy heard after being slammed by the truck, she thought:'Huh? Is it some new movie that was released when I was in a coma?'

That's when she managed to open her eyes, then she was shocked by the scene in front of her.

There was a man with the saber Artoria face who was being crowned by another man who was exactly the Merlin version of Type-Moon.

Before she had time to process what happened, the crowd around her began to chant, their voices rising in unison. "Long live King Arthur! Long live the ruler!"

It may be because of the crowd shouting or maybe something else, but Katy started to feel some headache; she couldn't help but put her hand on her face, rub her eyebrows, asking herself what was happening.

As if she had activated some kind of protocol, the headache disappeared as if it was an illusion but then, Katy found that she seemed to have some memories that she was sure weren't here, but still, it helped her have a general understanding of her situation, she has a little idea of what happened.

Nonetheless, she needs to be in a calm place to truly digest what is happening, but unfortunately, her new memory told her that she needs to attend a banquet that's about to happen; she couldn't miss it because of her special identity.

...

"It's truly pitiful for Her Highness Morgan. The throne that should originally belong to her was taken away by her brother, who appeared out of nowhere just because he pulled out a sword from a stone."

"Shh! How dare you gossip about the royal family in the Royal Palace? Do you want to die?"

The man who was gossiping earlier didn't care about the warning of his friend and said: "Anyway looks, she is already leaving the banquet so earlier, she must be returning to her room and crying, but there's nothing she can do, at least, she would marry King Lot of Orkney, so it isn't that bad for her."

In short, the gossip continued like this, even giving birth to strange rumors, but of course, no one dared to provoke Morgan openly; her reputation as a Witch wasn't for show.

As for Morgan who they were gossiping about, she was already in her room thinking about something some philosophical questions.

...

"So, if I understand correctly, I'm reincarnated as Morgan Le Fay, the Type-Moon version?"

Anyway, she is a true Otaku and has watched many anime and read many mangas, fanfic, and novels.

The Type-Moon World, a world as dangerous as Marvel and DC next door, Katy, now Morgan should be scared, but unfortunately, she was excited instead.

That's Type-Moon; what about Artoria, Rin, Aozaki Aoko, or her dear sister Artoria? This is also a world of swords and magic; just the thought of being able to fight with those Heroic Spirits is making her excited.

Morgan quickly calmed herself and had already started planning the future; since she is Morgan, it's very good for her; it was the woman who managed to make Rhongomyniad her magecraft in the Lostbelt; her magic talent is simply outstanding.

As long as she focuses enough on this and doesn't give a sh*t about Britannia, everything will be alright, and she will be able to reach at least the same level as her Lostbelt counterpart, right?

Morgan, who was already imagining the beautiful, was suddenly startled as if remembering something; she exclaimed: "No, wait, Lostbelt? If I go a path different from the panhuman history, wouldn't it become a Lostbelt?"

Anyway, Morgan has never thought about being the mother of half of the Knights of the Round Table; even marrying Lot has never been in her mind the moment she accepts her identity.

She quickly recalled the information she knew about Lostbelts; they are alternative timelines where human history diverged from the main course, also known as proper human history.

Normally, if a timeline diverges too far from Proper Human History, it's pruned (erased) by the Counter Force (the will of humanity to protect itself).

This prevents too many unstable branches from forming. However, Lostbelts are pruned histories that somehow avoided complete erasure.

It was only then that Morgan remembered that even if she changed history, it wouldn't even be a Lostbelt but just a timeline that would be erased by the Counter Force because it lacked an essential point: the intervention of the Alien God.

In Fate/Grand Order, the Alien God, a mysterious, higher entity intervenes and revives these pruned timelines. With the help of the Crypters, former members of Chaldea, these timelines are physically anchored to Earth, creating Lostbelts.

Each Lostbelt is maintained by a powerful tree called the Tree of Emptiness (or Fantasy Tree), which stabilizes its existence.

As for the reason why the Alien God is planting trees in these pruned timeline like a certain rabbit moon goddess to prevent their erasure, it's nothing more than part of the Alien God's plan to create to destabilize Proper Human History by creating a competition among these alternate worlds, hoping one of them would prove itself superior and worthy of replacing the main timeline.

So now, here's Morgan's problem: even if she decides to change what was originally supposed to happen and control her destiny, then either the timeline was erased by the counterforce, or it became a Lostbelt maintained by the Fantasy Tree.

And every Fantasy Tree is ultimately just the result of the Alien God's play; no matter what path she chooses, her destiny isn't in her hand in the end.

Morgan couldn't help but sigh; now, her only hope was something more like a fantasy; she took a deep breath and said: "System, are you here?"

Unfortunately, only the response of the wind entering through the window responded to her; she couldn't help but murmur: "So, I don't even have a system now. Do I still have some kind of cheat, a grandma portable, a special space, or something?"

She just said this in the tone of trying, but unexpectedly, she did receive a sign; it was because something that was glowing with golden color attracted her attention.

From my POV, the premise is already good. You should see that I'm a beginner author, so don't expect expert-level work, but still, I wish to hear your encouragement and receive many Power Stones.
