Go! Go! Go!

"This is pretty nice, ain't it Walter?" Wade commented as he felt the cold wind of Forks hitting his face as they drove toward the newly bought house.

The atmosphere of Forks was just as one thought it would be. It was dim, rainy, and cold; it most definitely catered toward creatures who wanted to stay hidden from the world as well as the sun.

"Indeed sir." Walter agreed; his kind enjoyed secluded places like this.

Happily, Wade conversed with his legendary butler as they made their way to the house; it hadn't been even two days since they arrived in Forks but Wade was very excited to get into everything.

He had been holding himself back from just jumping into everything like an idiot. In truth, he wanted to just run rampant through the town and to whatever but... that meant he wouldn't be able to enjoy things in the long term so using his better judgment, Wade controlled himself and stayed put.

Wade had set up things carefully; from the time he came to Forks from the date he'd started school, he wouldn't mess this up for himself just because of his usual lack of self-control.

"I've enrolled you in school; you begin tomorrow sir," Walter spoke, his mind playing through what type of calls he'd receive about his young master, though he was unaware that two women would appear and make Wade hold onto his sanity in ways he'd never done before.

"Great," Wade replied before continuing. "Anyway, can you make chimichangas for dinner?"

"Of course," Walter agreed.

The remainder of the ride home was silent which did catch Walter's attention as Wade was usually speaking with him about random things that came to mind but for Wade himself, his mind was more caught up in the story of Twilight.

Hours later, Wade could be seen hanging from the high ceiling of his room with a thoughtful expression on his face, inwardly he was going through a re-cap of his life; most didn't do this but Wade wasn't like others.

In his life, thus far he had two people who were close to him; his mother, Liona Godfrey, and his butler, Walter Phenix, but he could always tell that the two were hiding something from him.

For example, neither Walter nor Liona reacted to how someone was supposed to react when they found out about his powers. In fact, his mother simply said "Those are new ones.", she was clearly expecting something different.

Their reactions to Wade were always lukewarm, each adult was interested in what he could do but they were never overly surprised by him; though admittingly, Wade never went out of his way to show the full extent of his capabilities.

Constantly, Wade noticed peculiarities about Liona and Walter that signaled to him that they weren't simple people but in all honestly, Wade didn't care. It was commonly known amongst the family that Wade wasn't exactly right in the head, so it wasn't a surprise that he didn't care.

Wade seemed to live the life of a free rich guy but he knew there was certainly more to his personal life and family that he'd yet to interact with; he wouldn't be surprised if his mother came to him soon and revealed something incredible to him.

'I doubt it'll be more interesting than the Twilight story though.' he said to himself as he landed on the ground walked toward his piano and sitting down; his room was overly large so he had plenty of room for all the instruments he wanted.

Despite not being the same guy he was in his past life, the undying love of had for music still ran strong through Wade's veins; not even his unstable mind was able to change that. Noticing Walter's presence at his doorframe, Wade ignored it and began playing the piano, it was his favorite instrument by far.

Wade had always been talented with instruments but his talent was even more impressive in this life than he could put in words. Each key he struck could strike chills into the coldest of people; it was in the moments when he played his music that Wade was the most lucid.

Playing a piece that was more gentle than he usually was, Wade continued on for ten or so minutes as his spectator enjoyed the moments of peace Wade's music provided until finally, Walter was forced to interrupt the young master.

"My apologies sir, but the food is prepared," Walter stated loudly enough for Wade to pause.

"Let's go!" Wade declared before leaving his piano; Chimichangas couldn't wait.

-- The next day --

"Here we are, sir," Walter said as he opened the car door for Wade to get out; they had just arrived at the Forks High School, the place where Twilight began.

"Off we go," Wade replied as he got out of the car, moments later he and Walter were walking toward the entrance of the school but unlike usual, Wade was walking with his cane to fit in as the blind man whom he was diagnosed as.

Walking into the school, Wade immediately sensed the many eyes fall upon him which made sense; the small town of Forks almost never got new people so for him to arrive at the high school definitely caught the attention of many.

"They're looking at you, aren't they?" Wade nudged Walter and whispered.

"No sir, they're looking at you," Walter replied as they walked past a group of pale-skinned individuals who were watching his younger master rather intently.

"Really? Are there any beautiful ladies?" Wade continued as if he couldn't feel the many gazes upon him.

"Beauty is subjective sir."

"Bah! Hot people are hot old man!"

"In that case then no, there are no such people present," Walter replied, his English accent strongly showcasing itself.

"Awe man... How can I get a girlfriend at this rate?" Wade pouted causing his butler to promptly reply.

"Young master, appearance is not what matters, it's the heart that matters," Walter stated seriously before continuing. "Additionally, you cannot see; appearance is of no importance to you."

"Going for the jugular huh? Well, guess what, I may be blind but my heart can see!" Wade retorted passionately.

"That makes no sense, sir," Walter commented.

"I've been described as unstable, which is just plain coo-coo."

"Again, that makes no sense, sir," Watler repeated.

"You just don't get me."

"I'm not sure if anyone does."

"Fair enough."

Not long later, Walter and Wade arrived at the front office where the butler made his first move. "Please sit here for a few moments sir; I will speak with the counselor,"

Sitting down, Wade listened carefully as Walter walked over to the school counselor's office and began a conversation with him after knocking on the open door. The talks between the two weren't anything special or of anything noteworthy, but what caught his attention was the sweet voice filling his ears from down the hallway.

"Hehe~! He was so handsome! Did you see him, Eliza?" A woman said as she skipped down the hallway beside her long-time best friend.

"No." The girl in question replied, her town icy cold.

"Did you hear him? His voice was so nice!" The other woman continued, her excitement as clear as day.

"No." The cold woman replied again.

"Oh c'mon!" The first girl pouted before continuing. "Aren't you interested in him?"

"No, not at all."

"Lies." The first girl commented in a disbelieving tone.

"Whatever, I don't want anything to do with him; we've been over this."

"And I still don't agree." The first girl said, her tone more serious than before.

Listening intently to their conversation, Wade found himself a bit surprised that he was so enamored by just their voice; how was it that he could be so interested in something so simple? It was completely unknown territory for him.

"It's nice to meet you Wade, my name's Robert Furgeson, the school counselor, you can call me Mr. Furgeson." The school counselor said completely interrupting Wade as he listened to the girls' conversation; his eavesdropping session was destroyed.

"Nice to meetcha Robert," Wade replied as he stood up and extended his hand for the counselor to shake with a handsome smile on his face.

"...Nice to meet you as well." The counselor said before continuing. "And please, call me-,"

"I'll have the car prepared for you when the school day is over sir; please call me if you need anything." Walter interrupted earning a nod from Wade who released the counselor's hand.

"Yea, see ya' later old man," he replied lightheartedly as his butler departed.

"Now, what were you saying Mr Peterson?" Wade asked as he looked at the school counselor.

"It's Mr Furgeson."
