Writing quality is good. Stability of updates is bad lately. The story is pretty bad. So it's a classic OP MC story but it's awfully boring and fast. Badically MC gets OP magic becomes god of ishgar just because he is powerful from the getgo and makes a harem. Now the characters are godawful. Honestly best way to describe females from the show in this book is as sex deprieved dolls that'll basically agree with anything MC wants. Like for gods sake the goddess marries him cause he saw her panties, after 3 months with erza, he confesses and is like oh btw I have a harem, but Erza is like you should've told me before confessing, *proceeds to jump onto mc for a makeout session* "Sure".... Almost the same for every other girl where they fall for him, he invites them to harem and sex... The world is a glorified sex story that tries to act like there's plot, just to build to any sex scene later on... Tbh the writer could've just written a sex novel and it'd be the same quality and more people would like it cause there's an audience for that, but this acts like there's a story when the mc could basically already kill anyone he wants but he stays just for sex with girls and the *amazing* relationships he *develops* with them
I enjoy this book, but more so as a guilty pleasure. Objectively, the writing quality is only a bit better than other on-site fanfictions, update schedule is respectable, the story development... I don't want to open that can of p0t4t0es - ask a question if you want. Character design is HORRIBLE. You take already mediocre, good, or great characters and ruin them. In what world does Erza say "Babe", or, "Baka." The world background is okay, it's a fanfiction so that's to be expected. Honestly, I don't know why I enjoy this fanfic, but I do.
This story can be sum up in one word FAST. The story has a lot of time skips so everything is like a blur forming the characters interaction with each other to relationships developing everything happens quickly. Almost all the story just happens with no explanation. For example Ezra and the mc go on a mission then thereโs a time skip and there close enough to ask each other out, and we see none of it skips it like it doesnโt matter. So it feels like the readers are missing out.
I know this review might come off as bashing so I apologize in advance if it does so. I also want to mention that this review was written after I read up to chapter 27 so there is still a chance the story improves in later chapters. -First Iโm gonna explain things I didnโt enjoy and then Iโll explain why you might want to still read it. 1) The writing is Pretty bad, I would give it a 2/5. You can still read the story but donโt expect to be immersed, because you will have to correct a lot of errors as you read. 2) The characters donโt feel like themselves at all. They seem to be there in name and appearance only, while their personalities went out the window. 3) The flow of the story just feels forced and akward to me. There are many moments that scream โcringeโ and the writing itself also adds fuel to the fire. -Now for why you might want to still read it. 1) Djinn! If you are a fan of โmagiโ then you might want to give it a read. 2) If all you care about is a harem then why not give this a shot. Be warned however that there werenโt any โR-18โ moments from the chapters I read. If thats what your looking for. 3) The MC is OP and tends to solve all scenarios rather quickly. In fact, the MC never used his full prowess from the chapters I read. Perhaps author was doing this to get to the big moments in โfairy taleโ or to just finish the story quickly, I might never know.
