Fairy tail- Give me space

My life was a constant struggle – born into poverty, with abusive parents and a weak body, I was bullied throughout my school years. Despite starting a small startup in college, I was eventually betrayed by my best friend, who took out loans in the company's name and fled the country with the money. When the truth came to light, I was arrested and framed by the same friend, who had connections in high places. Fuck corruption.

Currently, I was standing with a noose around my neck which was connected to the ceiling fan with a table below. Letting all the air in my lungs out, I kicked the table and eventually suffocated to death.

White..when I opened my eyes it was white all around as far as I could see..see?. I wasn't seeing it. I tried to run my eyes but I couldn't feel my hands or any body part for that matter.

I tried to scream but no noise escaped my mouth. Suddenly I could feel myself turning and in front of me stood a white figure with no facial features except a mouth. He held what looked like a clipboard as he started talking.

"Hello there...Soul 1775643217382891916... welcome to after-death welfare". He said looking at the clipboard still in hand.

"What are you?, where am I..where is my body?". I asked somehow gaining a voice

"Hm..well it is on Earth 3135..it says that you killed yourself due to 'extremely unfortunate circumstances'. Man your life was hell wasn't it?".

"So I am dead hah...well good riddance..again though who are you".I asked.

"Hmm, how do I explain this..in earth terms, I am an intern. I am somebody created by the ones above to help you".

"Help me?..in What?". I asked sceptically

"Dum-dum-dum that's the million-dollar question. You see life in the old world is sometimes too harsh towards certain souls despite them not doing anything wrong in life. They sometimes end up taking their own life however this in turn takes away their chance at reincarnation. So the great ones above put in motion a new plan which gives these souls a chance at an alternative life". He said in one breath.. although I wasn't sure if he even breathed air.

"I don't wanna live.. I just wanna die and get erased peacefully". I said, sure that the white humanoid in front of me would be angry. However, his next words surprised me.

"Well, we get that a lot however what if we reincarnate you to a fictional world that existed in your old world?". He said smirking.

"Wait you can do that?". I asked.

"Yes it is quite simple..all works that you call fictional are something that exists..most of the authors who write them are reincarnators from the world they write about".

"Do I get to choose?". I asked like a kid in a candy store.

"Yes if you want although I will need to check if the world exists in case it's something obscure"

"Fairytail". I said without any hesitation. Fairytail was my first and probably favourite anime I watched when I was in high school. It made me believe that eventually one day I could have a bond with people who would love and cherish me similarly to how the guild cherished each other.

"Oh that's fast..hmm let's see...Hiro Mashima..ah there it is..ok. it is possible to be reincarnated in that world". He said looking at his clipboard. Then he faced me again and said.

"Ok now..all reincarnators are given an option between 3 abilities that they like or a gift box containing 3 abilities that contain abilities about the world they go in along with one wish.".

"So I can take any three abilities I want?". I asked giddy

"Hold your horses now.. it needs to pertain to 3 rules".

1. It must not be a copy of an ability that already exists. For example, you can't have Fire Dragon Slayer magic because Natsu already has it.

2. It must follow the rule ' energy converted into ability converted back to energy.

3. Nothing infinite, nothing that can outright break the laws of cause and effect by a wide margin..little is ok..and no 4th dimension or above jumping abilities.

"That's a lot of rules.. I wanted All fiction but I guess it isn't possible...What about Instant death?".

"It isn't against the rules However if you kill anyone you will be struck by the curse of Ankhseram". Intern stated.

And so I began rapid firing some abilities.

"So what about stopping time?".

"Already exists in the verse".

"Absolute hypnosis?"

"It is available but I won't recommend it".

"Ability to copy spells?".

"August has that".

"What about power cancellation?".

"Exists".

"What about something like limitless?".

"Infinity isn't available, remember ruke3". Intern said.

"So what should I do I want good abilities but nothing broken is allowed.. I should have known, after knowing my luck".

"Don't be so sad...you know what choose the gift pack instead... I usually don't do this however I will make a little change". He then started to reach into nowhere and pulled out a box.

"This one is special. It is a higher rank box than what you are usually presented with..it will guarantee the most broken abilities while making sure you don't break the rules. Although I must warn you it is random".

"I don't know my luck is dog water and I usually don't get the good end of the stick".

"Well, you can also spend as much time as you want and come up with 3 abilities for yourself..we have all the time in the world".

"Wait don't I get an extra ability if I choose the gift box?".

"Ya, that rule is there just in case the box gives you a bad trait.. however in your case the gift box is a rank one so you will simply get good abilities and you can have a fourth ability on top of the 3 random ones you get".Intern said.

"Alright my life was ass anyway..what's a little gambling gonna do to ruin it more".

"So the gift box then?".

"Open her up".

Intern again reached out into nowhere and pulled out a small rainbow-coloured box as he did I could sense the box and knew that all I had to do was to will it open.

Crossing my non-existent fingers I opened the box hoping it was something good.

1. A. I (inspired by greatsage tensura. The AI is only similar and not a replica).

2. Spatial Dragon Slayer magic. (Ultimate version).

3. High-speed healing.

"Oh, this seems like a jackpot". I said looking at all the abilities.

"Hmm..well that's a bit of a problem". Intern said.

"Why?". I looked at him questioning.

"That Spatial Dragon Slayer magic is quite difficult..its kinda hard to learn although it is very versatile and can be used to do a lot of things like teleportation to pocket dimension to even bending it in such a way that you can turn back time in a domain...that's also one of the reasons it's not something you can acquire".

"So I can't have it?". I asked a bit let down.

"No you can have it..it's really hard to learn so I guess the time it takes to learn will cancel out the extremely broken application of it".

"Now for your last ability, what do you want?".

"Does Spatial Dragon Slayer magic use a lot of magic power?".

"Yes, I believe you, even after reincarnation won't have a big enough reserve to use it until you are 10 and probably will have to train a lot to get to a stage where you can use it freely without worrying about magic deficiency". Intern said.

"So for my fourth wish, I want a really large container that allows me to absorb eternano faster as well as use it more efficiently".

"Ok, it has been arranged".

"So do I get to choose the location, year and whatnot".

"No that is random although you will be reincarnated as a baby somewhere in the fiore kingdom".

As the intern said that I began to feel dizzy and eventually blacked out.
