"Patient 234, He is the one that was a part of the recent incident right?"

"Yes,doctor."The boy laying on the bed can hear two voices outside the door.One of the voice was masculine while the other appeared to be feminine.His interest remained unchanged.

"What is the current condition of the patient?"The masculine voice out of the two stated."The way that he came in here we suspected that we would loose him,but miraculously he survived.His body has been healed but he has yet to wake up.We can't actually predict when he'll wake up".The feminine voice replied.

The boy woke up after hearing the noise of the two and sat up in the hospital bed.

Soon the door of the room opened and two figures stepped into the room.One being male and the other one being female. Both of them were wearing white long coats which represented that they were with the medical staff.

Both of them a sort of surprised looks on their faces as soon as they had entered the room as finding the boy like they did was the least they had expected.

On hearing the door open, the boy looked at both of the figures.

The Male Chuckled, "Well, well, well, would you look at that, Seems like the patient has awoken."The male who was presumably a doctor stated.

The girl with him who appeared to be wearing nurse clothes rushed at the boy."What are you doing? You're not supposed to get up so soon after waking up".

The boy look at her with a little more than half opened eyes which could be considered almost devoid of any kind of emotion.

"So how are you feeling young man?" The doctor asked him while he walked towards the boy.

"I'm alright" the boy answered,with his expression remaining unchanged.

"That's good" The doctor stated."Do you remember what happened to you?" The nurse asked politely.

The boy tried to remember but a sharp pain hit his brain and stopped him from doing so."Argh" He winced in pain.

"You should lay down" The nurse made the boy lay down."What happened to him doctor?" She looks towards the doctor and asks in a panic.

"Wait, let me handle this" He said to her calmly."Try to relax a bit" He said to the young boy.

On hearing this the boy calmed down a bit.

"Take it easy,you don't have to force yourself to remember" The doctor stated on which the boy stopped trying to remember and his pain vanished.

"Better now?" The doctor asked the boy."Yes" he stated in reply.

"Now.you should probably rest so you can recover as soon as possible.

"Alr" The boy said with an unamused expression.He then laid down and tried to rest.The doctor and the nurse left the room and left him to rest.

A few days later:

I had now recovered and was ready to leave the hospital, I changed into my clothes, collected my things,did the paperwork and walked out of the hospital.I then started to walk towards my home which was situated at a few minutes distance from the hospital.

During all these years what has become of human life? What more should we lose to figure out the lesson that life has been trying to teach us for some time? When will this Greed end?

These were the thoughts running though my head as I walked along the road towards my home.

Yes the normal human population had declined even more. This was due to the fact that the Aberrant had started to become stronger and the quality of the third generation Arc users or Archesters had declined a alot.

As he walked along the road he saw a few people using their arcs for stuff that contradicted the entire purpose which arcs are for

Two people ran past him at high speeds which were only capable by Archesters.As having an Arc provided you with heightened physical abilities as well as a heightened recovery rate.

The both of them blitzed past him,he turned his head to look at them and noticed that they were carrying something and running away from someone.Which concluded that they were thieves.

As soon as they had passed him, a flash a white light also passed him.

He then saw the woman,in a blinding flash of light the woman instantly subdued the two thieves and was standing there with all the bags that the thieves had.

Zayn's eyes widened a bit

"She's traveling at almost the speed of sound" That was the thought running through his head.

Yes, Zayn's Arc was related to calculations and measurements or rather mathematics as a whole.He could accurately tell the distance, speeds or anything numerics related by just one look.

But don't get this wrong, he was genius but not because of his arc but rather his innate talent.His intellect surpassed many adults at the age of 9 just before the incident.As he was the son of a high end family of a country.So he was given special education from an early age. Before the age of 9 he was taught things that even the most intelligent of people could not comprehend.
