Due to the powers granted by the arcs we took a stand against the Aberrant.We who ran like prey from them could now start to fight back.Even though at the start we were only limited to fighting only the weakest of the monsters.But still it was nothing of laugh at if compared to our previous situation.

But still the situation was not that great as we had no proper system of producing food and water.As the lakes that were flowing through that land were contaminated because of the Aberrant.

We knew that it would take us alot of time to go back in the direction of stabilization. But it was not completely impossible as the herbs grown where the Aberrant were killed provided the necessary biochemicals needed for the purification of said contamination.But it was not all of the Aberrant that provided the necessary conditions for those plants to grow.There was only type that droped the nutrients for that plant to be grown thankfully it was one of the weaker ones.

After this discovery the Ark decided to classify the Aberrant into certain different classes. But as we knew very little about them we could only classify a few types which were well known.

So we classified them by how dangerous they were.The classification was in three steps.They were as follows:

Category > Type > Species

Category : It showed the threat level of an Aberrant. This was done so that people remain cautious of the Aberrant that possessed high threat level.And do not engage in battles that were futile.

The category all monsters that were killable by normal human tech to be in the lowest category which was Street Category. These were the Aberrant that could be killed by using enough fire power that equals a military tank.

The second class of category was the City-block Category. This contained Aberrant which could not be killed by a tank and needed atleast a military missile level attack potency or an average First Generation Arc user.

The third class of category were the Aberrant that first came out of the portals.These we the fiends that destroyed our normal lives. They were placed under Small-town Category. Meaning they would need to be killed by using enough destruction that could destroy an entire small town or possibly 3 or 4 of the Highest tier first generation arc user or possibly a Highest tier  second generation arc user. But the second generation was too far off into the future to be considered at this point.So it was all up to the first generation.

The fourth class of category was termed Large-city Category. These Aberrant were very far and few between but could destroy entire large sized cities. These were the Aberrant that could not be killed by even nuclear weapons and could flatten cities easily.And we did not have any current arc users which could deal with these kinds of threats at the moment.

This was all the current categories that were decided uptill now but was left as an open end incase some stronger Aberrant appeared.

Each of the Category had it's different types like type 1, type 2, type 3 and so on.The difference in threat level in two adjacent types in a category was not that much but the difference between the first type and the last type in a category was a big one.

And each each type there were different species that were given names.

Luckily the ones that drop the nutrients were out of the lowest types. They were a part of Street Category. Type 2 of street Category to be precise. The species were named the Gifters because of the fact that  nutrient they drop was considered a gift for humanity. So naturally they were pretty easy to kill. That is why the abundance of said nutrient was plenty and it was pretty easy to obtain.

The nutrient was given the name A-Element. It was done as it contained elements not present on Earth.So some scientists even put forward theories that the Aberrant were some sort of Alien life and their claims were not entirely false as they didn't have anything comparable to normal animals.
