Exodus: Infinity 》Connected《

Thirty years from now, humans finally turn their attention into space. At the dawn of a new century, 2100 A.D, Earth's atmosphere is near inhabitable. Orbital colonies are created. It is too late now to emphasize natural energy. With the exhaustion of their natural resources, deep space mining companies started to wander off further away from the system. This became a form of example. Even with the speed of light, interstellar travel is too slow. Not until the perfection of Suspended Animation solved the issue. After the war with the Dominion. The first colonists were sent into the system of Sarys. Approximately three hundred years away. After thirty years, it was deemed successful. Powerful syndicates and the world government started their own projects; The Exodus. Not wanting to be left behind. People volunteered to the progress. At year 2228, the last Hive Ship left an Orbital Colony, carrying the last human presence in the Solar System, giving Earth a chance of rejuvenation. The introduction of Blink, a signal that can reach any Vults(Receiver) without any millisecond pass, gave humans the ability to communicate with other fleets no matter the distance. It was a leap in human technology that will deem other alien races inferior. Companies started to advertise a new system of VR to entertain people while in Suspended Animation. *Disclaimer: Cover's not mine!*

The Charon walked to Kzel and rested a hand on his chest. She felt the Mark of a Greater Reaper and the darkness within. But it didn't bother her.

"Kraas!" A single word came out her mouth and a crescent crimson appeared on the Mark of Calar. Kzel realized that the Charon was using him as a connection into the mortal realm--like a binding.

Aviree and Cleera understood what this signified. In Eerian, the crescent symbolized mortality, while the half-moon is immortality and last, the full moon as gods. That means, the Charon was taking an Eerian form.

The environment became clearer and the chunk of earth returned to their natural position. They were back in the Glittering Cave except, with one more figure in their midst.

Chaos leaked out from the naked slender body of a beauty staring at Kzel. She smirked and asked, "My true name is too powerful to be uttered in this realm. Chaos Bringer, give me a mortal one!"

"How 'bout Calaree, great one!" Cleera excitedly suggested. In her language, Calar had been a major god in Eerian society and his name only meant 'Chaos'. While 'Ree' was the commonly used term for 'Wife'. 'Wife' is an honorary title for Eerian women, it does not only depict a man's wife but also meant 'Great'.

"No. I want the mightier language of the Chaos Bringer's race." The Charon firmly stated, never taking her eyes away from Kzel. Aviree and Cleera turned their attention to the Rzir in anticipation.

Since it was forced to him, Kzel racked his brain. Rzir's language is very complicated. Using Cleera's example, he searched for the words. 'Rje' meant female but not directly referring to female Rzirs. 'Eynz' and 'Fel' meant chaos. There was something that bothered him. Rzirs used 'Kahr' at the end of their sentences, meaning 'End Word'. But 'Kahr' can be substituted with 'Kez' when the sentence ended with the name of the person they respected. Should he apply that formality to the people he respected? Like; Have fun with me, Cleera-kez! Or kill them all, Aviree-kez!

"Rjeinz sh---"

"I like it!" The Charon did not give Kzel time to finish and claimed the name instantly. She then strolled towards him with her uncovered long and delicate legs striding gently, "There's a rumoured pleasure between mortals' opposite gender. I would like to experience that!"

Kzel laughed nervously. His eyes reduced to a slit, "Unfortunately, that's not how it's done."

"Then how?"

"Don't listen to him." Cleera laughed, "Eerian women take men as their possession."

'In my real society, women are considered one of the most prized possession of men.' Kzel countered in his head. Eerian women are so straightforward that he is always caught off guard.

"Here!" Aviree handed clothes and a crimson robe she usually wore back in the Crimson Sect to Rjeinz. Aviree and Cleera covered Rjeinz while changing.

A scream and a screech outside alarmed the four. Each stared at the entrance of the cave until a figure came tumbling as the Chaos Ghoul chased after it.

"Oh, thank goodness! I've found you!" The figure revealed of a man came to view.

"Hold." Cleera commanded the ghoul and it obediently stopped.

Aviree was the next to take action and sent a small ball of blue energy that electrocuted the man. Kzel gently tapped her shoulder hinting that he's taking charge of the situation.

"W-What are you doing? We're all servants of chaos!" The man stopped struggling and pleaded.

"Hoh?" Kzel stopped infront of the man and stared down, "But I don't sense chaos in you. Just a bit."

"I-I.." The man took out something from his robe and held it up, "I found this book in the ancient library. It holds the teachings of the 6th Chaos. I want to be part of chaos!"

"6th?" Kzel repeated and snatched the book. He then tossed it to Cleera.

"Oh!" Cleera flipped through the pages, "Rundid, Chaos god, 6th of his kind. Unfortunately for you young man, we serve the 3rd. And you must die for mentioning another god in our midst!"

"A more powerful one?" The man's eyes widened, "No! Please! Spare me! I only wanted to serve chaos."

"Why is that?" Kzel question, his eyes seemed to look at the soul.

The man flinched but answered in a firm voice, "Order had made us Gaians stagnant. I believe with chaos, we can move forward. Through conflict should we be able to learn. I want to break the wheel!"

"You don't break the wheel. You move the wheel. That's how chaos works. But still, very good answer." Aviree quickly clapped her hands.

"This man opened the chaos within without being directly influenced by chaos essence." Rjeinz voiced out and strolled to Kzel, tapping a hand on his shoulder that sent chaos energy through out his body. He felt an eye opened in his existence.

>>Chaos Eye Unlocked!

-You can now cultivate chaos! Every chaotic emotion and action can open an eye. You can also summon a ball of chaos energy to commune with the domains of chaos.

Stage 1(1/10)

*1 Chaos Eye opened(+100 Chaos energy)<<

"In almost every existence, there is chaos. What I did is awaken the chaos consciousness of the soul." Rjeinz explained, "Bringer, you can now fully awaken this man's Chaos Eye. Convert him to our side."

Kzel turned to the man, "Do you want to join the Black Chaos of Calar?"

"Yes. Yes!" The man answered.

A ball of chaos essence converged above Kzel's palm. He then flicked it to the man's chest whose eyes shone bright red for a few seconds as a notification appeared.

>>New Follower! (3/10,000)

After he finished reading the notification, Kzel turned to the man, "It seems you have questions, Fabian. Ask away."

Fabian's eyes widened, 'How did he know my name?' Nonetheless, he questioned, "What rules should I follow?"

"There are no rules!" Cleera scolded causing Fabian to shake from the intense pressure she released, "We do what we want! But you must obey your sect master or the ones above like our Chaos Bringer and answer the calls of lord Calar!"

"Lord Calar. Yes! LORD CALAR!" Fabian became louder. Now that he thought of it, no one can bully him anymore. He can get more powerful and defy his fate as a peasant boy who is looked down upon by the nobles.

"Chaos Bringer," Rjeinz called out. "This cave is suitable to place a Chaos Circle. We shall began our ritual while you perform your mission. Now go!"

Kzel nodded and led Fabian away. He do not know how long the ritual will take, but he must first get stronger.
