3: Inner city pass

Last night goes without any suspense. The sun can be seen, rising at the horizon and we can see the young child looking to the sunrise

'Last night I sleep well so lets eat some thing and register for work at outer east wall'

When he came to the outer east wall, he see many mens, childrens some cutting trees and some transporting logs.

He try to find the manager and hopefully find him inside the largest tent.

He comes near the tent and look inside where he saw a tall muscles man and ask if can come and tells the reason for his visit.

The muscle man ask "Boy tell your name to get register and take the axe which is on your left if you can carry it and chope trees or you can only transport logs with others"

The young child think telling his real name will be safe, so he said"My name of ember"

The muscular man said "you have an interesting name I will not dig deep in your identity, now take this wooden id and remember with only this can you work here, now go"

Ember take the id, pick the axe and leave the tent. Axe was not much heavy because he often time works in the mountain mines to mine ore.

Ember ask the nearby guard who was supervision, where he can start to cut the tree and got the location and after some walk arrive there.

Unknown to him back to the largest tent near the manager a shadow move and ask the manager " Why did you give that kid that id? "

Manager " I do not have any extra normal id left"

Shadow " But that id can be use to access inner city and obtain various privileges one shown"

Manager " He do not know that it is a special id and the most important he cannot cultivate at most he will sell it in the market where someone will recognize at at send the id to inner city"

Outside the tent ember has start the hit a dead tree with axe intended to cut the dead tree in shortest time possible.

Gold some deep breath and after hold his breath and lifted the axe up in the air above his head and swing it vertical and then take a curve and when it was blade edge was 30 degree to the ground then he swing it horizontally with the maintain force and hit the tree trunk.

After one swing the axe edge was almost inside the tree he move the axe handle horizontally which made the blade loosen and remove the axe and continue to chope the trunk.

After 25 hits the tree was going to fall so Ember inform the workers who where in the tree falling direction and make a final swing which make the tree fall.

After the tree fall 20 workers come to chope the tree in equal lengths and transport them to the warehouse.

Ember take a look at then workers, catch his breath and again continues his action.
