Chapter 15 Separation
We cut towards the First group. This group was lead by Ichiyo and Hisashi. Both of them stopped at the Bridge nearby and Hisashi layed againts the railway in exhaustion. Ichiyo asked him as the others came closer to them:
- Exhausted already? Kind of surprised ya know? I thought you are top of the class.
Hisashi quickly answered with a small laugh:
- Ya know being the top doesn't mean a man or a women is the best..I am not certainly the best or in the top. I could say others are something better then me.
Ichiyo Looked at the others and asked:
- I think this is the perfect time for introductions. Don't you think? We have to know eachother's names to operate in such situation. I am Ichiyo. What about you all?
Ichiyo was speaking with a serious tone. Everyone who was there was conflicted to speak but. Three spoke.It was Shigeru, Kazue and Ayaka. Both were in the team. Hisashi looked at the others and asked:
- What about you guys? Go and introduce.
The other Members of the squad consisted of:
- Name:Kaito Hirabayashi
- Age:23
- Family:Parents-Strikers
- Abilities: Martial artists, Implosions.
He pointed at himself and smirked while yelling:
- I am Kaito Hirabayashi! I am your average explosive specialist and I can fight like a professional fighter!
Both Ichiyo and Hisashi thought:
- "Energetic Guy"
The next one the list was:
- Name:Hiraku Hirota
- Age: 32
- Family:Mother only
- Abilities: Light Manipulation, Teleportation.
Being a very emo guy Hiraku answered in more bored tone:
- Hiraku Hirota... Don't make me mad.. I hate being bullied by weirdos.
Hisashi and Ichiyo thought again:
- "Light Bulb"
In the place on the list was:
- Name:Naoki Inaba
- Age:20
- Family: Brother and Sister
- Abilities: Spirit Manipulation and Soul.
Naoki was taller compare to normal people of his age... He spoke from under his hood:
- Naoki Inaba. That's all you have to know.
Both Hisashi and Ichiyo thought another time:
- "Quiet Freak"
After Inaba we had a girl:
- Name:Ayame Matsuda
- Age:27
- Family: Unknown
- Abilities:Shadow Manipulation, Darkness manipulation.
Being covered in dark clothing her abilities fit her perfectly. She spoke:
- Ayame Matsuda... I am the shadow master you could say..
Both Hisashi and Ichiyo thought at the same time:
- "Quiet Deadly girl"
The last person was also a girl :
- Name:Mayumi Saito
- Age:23
- Family:All Killed
- Abilities:Space Manipulation,Nebula Nova
Mayumi seemed the most happy of all of them sharing a smile..that hided her true emotions she yelled:
- Mayumi Saito! And I hope we can be friends!
Ichiyo and Hisashi realised it and thought to themselves:
- "Depressed Girl"
After all the introductions. Hisashi cleared his throat and spoke out:
- Our plan right now is to try and right the cultists. Although I think this is a bad idea we have to do it. We don't know how many of them are there. We also don't know what they can do.
Hiraku was the one to lift hand up and Ichiyo spoke:
- Something you have on mind Hiraku?
He answered in his tone:
- I could..teleport to the Edge of a nearby building and check. If they..have void powers or void shards...
Ichiyo looked at Hisashi and he spoke out:
- You sure you can get out as fast as you can get there?
Hiraku responded quiet fast:
- I mastered my Teleportation in case of personal use...never used it on someone.. should be good.
Ichiyo and Hisashi both walked to the side and began to speak.. Hisashi started:
- Everyone specialise in something else..it will be hard for us to do something efficient. Don't you think?
Ichiyo commented with crossed arms:
- At least we are versatile no? It gives us more abilities to put out againts the enemy.
Hisashi responded sighing:
- Yeah you are right it seems. But btw Ichiyo. You seem very..
She spoke before he could finish:
- Blunt?
He responded:
- Yeah! Why is that? If I may know of course.
Ichiyo looked to the dome above then and answered:
- Well..If you have been made into a striker student.. because your history is fucked up so badly they wouldn't accept you if you not for your talent. You would get my backstory.
Hisashi went silent but quickly gathered himself and asked:
- I see. Well for now we should focus on getting out of the SUOF. But mostly helping our friends out there and our teachers.
Ichiyo laughed a bit and answered smirking:
- Yeah sure. Let's kick some cultist ass.
Both went back to the group and Hisashi asked Hiraku:
- You are up for the task Hiraku?
Hiraku nodded and answered:
- Yeah... Well it if means we can just determine the threat...
Hisashi then looked at others and commented:
- Okay listen. The res rod us will move towards the building on the right. I mean that small shop. When we get to it and after confirming the enemy's abilities we will strike.
Kaito quickly barged in and asked:
- You sure he is gonna be fine! Because in my opinion iwe should test the enemy in combat!
Ayame angrily commented at his yelling:
- First of all..shut up.. and second how do you expect us to fight them if they are stronger then us? You thought about that?
Kaito felt a bit embarrassed and spoke out:
- S..sorry for that! I am just so energetic most of the times! I am very used to it..Eheheh..
Ayame clearly was mad seeing such energetic in such situation. Hisashi stepped in and yelled:
- WE DONT HAVE TIME TO ARGUE ABOUT SOMEONE'S PERSONALITY! DO WE HAVE A PLAN OR NOT?!
Everyone looked at him and nodded showing there opinion. Ichiyo then commented:
- Let's do it then. Hiraku?
As soon as she said it. Hiraku used his teleportation and dissapeared right in front of there eyes. Hiraku ended up on a building nearby and kneeled next to the edge ... With his advantage point he could see all the cultists and monsters on the street beneath him. As he was about to go back he stopped. He got his ear onward and listened in hearing one of the cultists say:
- Ugh..where is this girl? I thought that rich girl walks to this school! The leader asked for her!
Hiraku instantly knew who they were talking about..he listened in while saying to himself:
- They wanted Genji's sister..? But for what reason? I didn't felt any void presence from.her..
As he listened in he could hear one of the cultists say:
- Whatever! We gonna find her at some point! And either the way fuck that bitch. I want to kill!
Other cultists joined in also yelling words kill. Hiraku immediately Teleported back to the group. Hisashi asked as he appeared:
- What did you found out?
Hiraku instantly answered:
- They are just murderous cultists with no powers. But that isn't what worries me...
Ichiyo and the others looked a thin in confusion. Hisashi asked:
- What do you mean something that worries you?
Hiraku then responded:
- They came here for Genji's sister supposedly. I heard them speak about it at the street.
Hisashi forze in pure shock. As he knew his friend he couldn't understand what he just heard...he grabbed him by the collar and yelled but..not loud:
- What do you mean they wanted his sister?! For what purpose?!
Hiraku answered trying to get him off:
- I don't know okay?! I didn't listened that long!!
Ichiyo separated them both and commented:
- Bunch of idiots. We have a mission to do. I don't think we should rest right? We should be out there kicking ass of the cultists and monsters.
Kaito,Ayama and the others agreed as Hisashi answered with a sigh and spoke:
- Yeah yeah..let's just get this thing done..
The team was behind the shop that Hisashi spoke about . Kaito, Ayama,Naoki,Mayumi,Hiraku including our two leaders were prepared to engage the enemy in close quarters. As one of the cultists passed by Hisashi was the one to quickly cut his throat. The cultist made a screech and the cultist lieutenant yelled:
- STUDENTS!! KILL THEM IN THE NAME OF OUR GODS!!
The cultists rushed at the group as Ichiyo,Kaito, Ayame went forward rushing at the enemy. The rest stayed behind to offer support. Kaito instantly used his martial arts skills and his speed to his advantage. He punched fifty of them and kicked ten of them in gut. Ayame using his shadow and darkness combination yelled:
- Eternal darkness! First tome!
First tome allows the user to summon hundreds of black arrows that can stun,kill,immobilise or paralyze the enemy that is attacked with the usage of the first tome. In this case Ayama showed mercy and only dealt knocking out blows to the many cultists cultists in front of her. Hisashi yelled:
- Hell spear!
Dozen or so black spears appeared next to him as he focused on the incoming monsters. He swinged his arm forward as the spears launched piercing many monsters up ahead. As the cultists attacked. So the team almost instantly got rid of them. But even with that . Hisashi was the one to kill the most of them.. But although he knew it was right..he knew he just had human blood on his hands..he thought to himself:
- " These guys..they are still humans. I am killing my own kind . But the monsters are the same to themselves..they kill eachother too. So we aren't so different"
As the last cultist has fallen the group gathered up. Ichigo was the first one to speak out:
- So is everyone Alright? No injuries anything like that?
Everyone nodded no although they had injuries they weren't severe. Hisashi spoke out:
- We cleared this place..but I hope the other guys are doing just as good. But I know for a fact that ....White hair girl is gonna mess this up.
Ayame in her dark voice commented:
- Chin-Sun you mean?
Ichiyo nodded as she spoke again:
- Currently we cleared this side. Hope the others are doing as good.
Hisashi looked at the center from where explosion's are coming and spoke:
- Everyone let's head out to the center. We have to help the Sensei.
The group agreed as Kaito yelled:
- Let's do this everyone!
Meanwhile..The second team became more like a three person team. Takashi,Kyo were chasing after Chin-Sun who was mercilessly killing everyone in her path. Her cold eyes showed that something has gone in her mindset. Kyo managed to grabbed her shoulder and yelled at her:
- WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU BITCH?! YOU WANT TO DIE!?
Chin-Sun only gave a menacing death stare as she answered in cold voice:
- Who asked or even allowed you to speak? And don't touch me.
Kyo tries to get to her and speaks:
- You are endangering eveyrone else with your reckless attacks!!!
Chin-Sun began to slowly freeze the environment and commented:
- They are just casualties. That must be achieved to become a hero.
Takashi was just standing there watching them he thought to himself:
- "T..they gonna kill one another if this gonna continue!! We need to focu-"
Before Takashi could finish a roar was heard nearby the three.
A giant humanoid monster swinged at both Kyo and Chin-Sun . Chin-Sun used her ice powers to swing a literal iceberg into the monster. Kyo just watched..seeing how lifeless and emotionless Chin-Sun eyes were and how she truly not cared about the damage she caused to the training arena. Kyo tho got mad and tackles Chin-Dun into nearby puddle of water. Both began to either punch or strangle one another. Takashi tho was using his abilities to defend them since there was a few monsters coming for them . Kyo yelled at Chin-Sun as she punched her:
- WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!!
Chin-Sun responded by punching her as well:
- I am doing what must be done. Get out of my way or die.
Takashi was barely able to hold the monsters off. He thought to himself sweating:
- "This is bad shit! I can't hold them off for longer!! Anyone please help!!"
A gianormous wolf like beast was about to bite him in half. But in that moment a spear came crashing down piercing the monsters head. After it a person landed crashing the monster into the ground. It was a beautiful women with green eyes and she spoke:
- Sorry for being late kiddos. Hope you didn't miss me.
Takashi knew who it was. It was the legendary Green Maiden. One of the top Alpha rank strikers. She had helmet on and she asked Takashi:
- Are you okay? Where is the rest of you?
Takashi suprised quickly answered:
- U..um.y..yeah we are fine! You have nice boobs!
Both of them forze and the women embarrassed turned around rubbing her own arm and yelled:
- YOU ARE PERVERT KID!
Takashi realising what he just said turned red on his face as he in frustration began to yell:
- I AM SORRY I AM SORRY I DIDN'T MEANT THAT!!!
Maiden turned around back to him and walked up and asked:
- Where is Aoi? I was busy fighting monsters at the gate and saw some of you there. So I thought the Rest is in danger. Is Aoi at the center of SUOF?
Takashi nodded and stood straight. He quickly asked:
- Wait...if you are here . Then where is the rest of the gate unit?
Green Maiden quickly answered with a look of sorrow:
- Most of them still stand..some..were ripped to pieces by the monsters. Our captain has been Injured in half. That's why I was send here. To find you and evacuat-
A giant iceberg exploded right next to them..the giant wall of ice rose up and covered almost one fourth of SUOF with a single swoop. The Hero asked Takashi instantly:
- That..was one of your classmates?
Takashi pointed at Chin-Sun who was staring Kyo coldly in the face as he had one hand aimed at the city where the iceberg hit . The hero commented:
- Such strength..you saying she is only a student? She should be a striker by now..
Chin-Sun spoke right to Kto with a cold glare:
- You dare to think I am on the same level as you? You actually think I care what happens anymore?
Kyo angrily answered:
-You think I am scared of you?! Of such a weak brat! Your bloodline doesn't mean anything here! A clan? Come on that's so old school!
The Green Maiden noticed the rage in Chin-Sun eyes. She knew she would go berserk if this continues. In a speed of sound she managed to hit Chin-Sun into the neck. Chin-Sun on the other hand froze as she suddenly felt the impact. Her body felt down unconscious from the strong hit into the vital point on the neck. Takashi yelled in fear:
- I..is she okay?!
The striker responded:
- She is fine. I just knocked out for everyone's safety. We don't want a wild Void power user over here.
Kyo got up and dusted herself off. She commented:
- I could had manage that myself. You didn't had to intervene miss.
Maiden looked at her and spoke:
- Yeah I saw that. She would kill you an us here if not for me. Now you both take her. We have to get going.
Kyo grabbed the arm of the Maiden. Her own eyes turned red. She then commented in anger:
- I am not .. leaving my classmates to die. Who do you take us for? Kids!?
Maiden was serious as well. Takashi saw the bloodlust both of the women had. He was clearly terrified as he thought:
- "T..this is bad! They gonna kill one another or something! Wait... where is Genji?! We need him right now fuck!"
As he thought that suddenly a giant shockwave happened next to the four. Chin-Sun woke up a bit as she looked to the side. The same humanoid who attacked Genji was standing up slowly with clearly pissed off look. Maiden was surprised as she spoke:
- Those humanoids..are very rare. How are they in SUOF?!
Suddenly the monster looked up as a giant no one other then Genji came flying at the monster punching it right into the gut as he pulled himself onward. The monster roared as it was punched through multiple buildings. Genji spoke out:
- You all should be by the exit now. This is not a safe space to me at all. Even for an Alpha class striker. These beasts are no joke.
Maiden was dumbfounded seeing Genji. She yelled:
- You are that kid! The same one who was said to be strongest of the class?!
Genji turned around with a serious face. He spoke:
- You should focus on helping not talking. And I don't care about the title. What matters is saving people's life's.
The monster jumped at Genji only to get face grabbed. Genji spoke with his mask covering his mouth and nose:
- You dare to try to kill me? I am the one to kill you all.
Genji slammed the monster into the ground causing a shockwave sending maiden,takashi, Kyo and Chin-Sun flying. Maiden commented shocked:
- This is..Genji Yamamoto?!
Kyo yelled out as she was watching this:
- It's not just Genji! It's him! The one who I know! The slayer of monsters!
Genji grabbed the humanoid by the leg and slammed him down again from left to right.
Humanoid then stabbed in the air causing him to let go. Genji stumbled back as he looked at the sword in his chest. He looked at the monster who was grinning. It spoke:
- All mighty Genji Yamamoto... I have heard you walk here.. didn't knew no one knows who you are . You are nothing but a Weakling now eh!?
The monster laughed but Genji retained his cool. After a moment Genji spoke:
- If that's all you can do.
He grabbed the sword as he finished:
- I am disappointed
He pulled the sword downwards breaking in half taking out both pieces. Although bleeding from his chest he still stood unfazed from even that.
Genji then commented:
- You think us humans are beneath you or something?
The humanoid responded in anger:
- How dare you think you can match us human?! We are made with monster DNA! You are nothing!
Genji snapped as he appeared in the humanoids face. He pulled his fist forward as he spoke silently:
- Nothing..? You will be nothing after I am done with you.
The humanoid was shocked as he couldn't react. Genji punched with strength into the humanoids gut causing a giant crater to form. The monster vomited blood as it went flying through multiple buildings. Genji spoke out as he looked at his fist:
- Ugh. Sometimes I hate to go to such an extend.
He looked back at the others and spoke again:
- Are you alright?
His voice was serious. But Kto got up and answered to him:
- We are fine. Just next time watch out with such attacks!
Genji looked forward and...spoke out with seriousness:
- Its not over.
The humanoid threw multiple swords at Genji at incredible speed. Genji dodged and blocked a few. But that wasn't enough as he was hit with multiple swords. Maiden was shocked as the humanoid jumped at Genji. He yelled:
- TIME TO DIE! EVERYONE HERE SHALL SERVE AN EXAMPLE!!THAT MONSTERS SOON SHALL RULE THIS WORLD-
Suddenly to his suprise Genji aimed his hand and for the time. Used his Void shard power:
- Voidestern. Piercing strike.
A giant shard of void crashed right through the humanoid severing him in half. It..was shocked to say at least. The humanoid spoke:
- I.. impossible..
It felt down on the floor with the shard piercing his body. Genji regenerated his injuries Although he coughed blood. He spoke:
- Stupid monsters. Don't deserve to live. You were strong. But i was stronger.
Maiden rushed over and asked:
- Are you Alright?! What was that ?!
Genji turned to her and spoke:
- That was my void shard power. But I have more in storage. Just don't use it very often. Especially in such cases I would rather not use it..
Maiden looked around seeing the SUOF in rubble..many buildings still stood but it was just case of time until they are destroy. She sighed with a bit of anger and asked Genji:
- Have you saw Aoi while you were going through this place and fighting? She was supposed to fight them at the fountain.
Genji looked at her and answered:
- I only saw explosions..and Shockwave's. I don't really know what is happening there.
As Genji spoke that a giant explosion happened right where the center was located. Both him and maiden looked over to the explosion. Genji spoke:
- I guess we fou-
Before he could finish a corpse of a striker flew next to him..ripped in half. Maiden instantly vomited from the sight. But Genji commented with serious face:
- Seems whoever is behind this attack. Isn't so nice as I thought.
Maiden looked at him shocked and asked:
- W..what do you mean by that?
Genji then looked at her serious and answered:
- The enemy that attacked us is a cult of sorts. They are joint by the monsters. But it also seems they are here for someone.
Kyo walked over and out hand on his shoulder as she barged in:
- You aren't gonna go there. I am not allowing you Genji! You gonna die if you fight them!
Genji only looked at her and grabbed her arm as he spoke:
- If Aoi Sensei gonna get hurt . I am gonna feel responsible for not helping in that regard. Besides the other strikers should be on there way shouldn't they?
Takashi runned over listening and maiden answered:
- I don't know. The communication was cut as the monsters arrived. But I am sure someone will come to help. It's just a matter of time.
Genji began to walk forward and speaking:
- Make sure everyone else is fine. I will go and help Ali Sensei as best as I can. Even if it means going out of my way to defending with my own body.
He turned a bit to the group as suddenly Chin-Sun got up and blasted Genji with ice speaking:
- No one is gonna do my task. Get out of my way!
Genji got stabbed by the multiple icicles send by Chin-Sun but stood his ground. He looked at her as he coughed out tons of blood. He commented:
- And..you call yourself a future striker? What has happened with you ..Chin-Sun?
She didn't care at all what he had to say. She blasted at him with a giant ice blizzard trying to kill him. Genji had no choice but to clench his fist and speak:
- You leave me no choice..friend.
He threw a punch that caused the blizzard not only to shatter away but also hit Chin-Sun with a giant void shard fragment. The girl not only vomited but got knocked out from the impact. Genji tho felt to his knees coughing out blood wiping the blood off his mouth. He looked at his hand and spoke:
- Drastic times... require drastic measures.. Kyo. Can you?
Kyo focused on Genji and spoke getitng into a stance:
- Ready on your mark. Genji.
Genji grabbed a sword out of the ground. It was a giant void sword. Genji looked at Kyo and nodded. She spoke after that:
- Dark Void Magic. Enchanto!
The sword began to engulf in black void magic. It was like flames..black flames at that. Genji commented:
- I hope this one will hold on. After all I may face third or fourth category over here. That won't be easy.
Kyo grabbed his shoulder saying:
- Stupid guy..just come back Alive will you for once?
Genji giggled and looked at her saying:
- Don't worry about it. I can handle myself. I am not a child after all.
Kyo looked at him sighing. She commented:
- Why..you are like this Genji? You are one giant idiot sometimes. An idiot with too much strength.
Genji let out a small chuckle as he begin to walk forward. As he did he heard explosion's in the distance. He looked forward his eyes glowing as he spoke:
- The battle has just..Begun.
