The Noise Cave Part-II

The cave was filled with green roots and plants.

"I think we should leave immediately," Sophie said, getting frightened.

They started to walk together. Sophie was in front of them thinking of her as a leader. Ikaria and Abel were at the back walking at a distance. They stood up in front of two paths.

"What should we do," Laura asked.

"Right," Sound of the cave.

"Please say that you heard this," Sophie pleaded, turning around at them.

"We are not hearing anything at all...," Xion said. Other nodded. Abel and Ikaria ignored her. Zale was busy with her murmuring.

Sophie cried out.

"Follow me," Sophie announced, getting annoyed. They all followed her but at the corner of the turn. Ikaria grabbed Abel with his neck. She pushed him against the wall of the cave. She lifted him. Abel had his hands on her hand.

"What...are you doing?" Abel said, feeling pressure on his vocal cords.

"Why didn't you save me?" Ikaria asked in a low voice, getting angry.

"My...powers...weren't working," Abel speaks, getting hard to breath.

"Believe me...,"

Ikaria without blinking her eyelids glanced at Able's eyes. She released him. Abel gasped.

"Khak...kahak..." Abel fell onto his knees.

"I love you...why don't you trust me," Abel yelled. He was still on his knees.

"Abel...Ikaria come fast," Xion shouted.

Ikaria moved, left Abel alone on the ground. Abel after a deep breath followed them.

"How can you be sure..." Xion asked Sophie while walking.

"...that this voice is helping us..."

"True, it could be a trap," Dakota assumed.

"It could be..." Sophie said while walking ahead.

"Or it could not,"

"Please god...let this voice be my angel," Sophie thought, closing her eyes.

Suddenly Sophie stopped and stretched her hand backwards to signal others to be alert.

"I heard this..." Xion whispered.

"Me too," Laura and Dakota both said at the same time.

"Thank god," Sophie whispered.

Sophie walked towards with slow steps. She sensed something small thing coming towards them but it was not cleared.

"What is this thing," Sophie murmured.

"Screech..." Creatures sound.

"Wait..." Xion said, raising his hand.

"Are they..." Dakota murmured.

"Bats," Sophie screamed.

"Everybody down," Laura shouted.

They laid down on the ground. A bunch of bats group flew over them.

"How many are they?" Sophie said.

For a while, they froze in the same position. After some minutes they stood up.

"How many families were they," Xion said, cleaning his clothes.

"I will take a bath after this," Sophie said.

After cleaning their clothes they continued to walk.

"Continue in this direction," Sound of the cave.

"We will be out soon," Sophie said, walking ahead.

"Did you hear something again?" Xion asked.

Sophie did not answer. Soon they started to see the light and end of the cave. They covered their eyes because of the bright light. Zale stopped murmuring.

"We are back at the same place," Sophie said.

Master Wayne was already there sitting at the magical chair.

"Master," Sophie shouted, running towards him.

Master Wayne stood up out of shock.

"How are you here," Master Wayne asked.

"What do you mean?" Sophie said. Others walked towards them.

"I think we didn't take much time..." Sophie said, getting excited.

"It's still bright,"

"You all took three days," Master Wayne said, still was in shock.

"What..." Sophie screamed, getting shocked. She moved back some steps, her eyes widened, her ears alerted.

"Are you serious," Dakota said.

"Don't kid us," Ikaria said.

Everyone was shocked.

"You did not read the book," Master Wayne asked.

Everyone eyes down.

"We did, Master," Abel said.

"Liar," Master Wayne yelled.

Everyone was standing their hands crossed at back with head down.

"I saw everything," Master Wayne.

"Zale was my eyes and ears," Master Wayne said.

Everyone glared at Zale.

"Good work," Master Wayne complemented.

"Thank you, Master," Zale said.

"You all should be ashamed except Sophie..." Master Wayne shouted.

Sophie raised her head.

"Only she read the book,"

Sophie widened her eyes and pointed at herself.

"Because of her, you all are alive,"

Ikaria chuckled.

"Did I crack a joke," Master Wayne said, seeing at Ikaria.

"No, Master," Ikaria said.

"You all should say thank you to her," Master Wayne said.

Except Ikaria and Abel others said thank you and clapped. Xion patted her back.

"Good job," Xion said.

"Thank you," Sophie said, getting shy.

"Let's go," Master Wayne said.

"Take this when you feel dizzy,"

Sophie took the bottle and put it in the pocket. They again formed the circle and Sophie took a deep breath.

"Sir, Master Wayne is asking for permission," A sound announced in the headmaster's office.

"Ok," Draven said. Master Wayne appeared.

He stood in front of him hands crossed at back.

"What happened?" Draven asked.

He was looking down at his shoes.

"Sit and tell," Draven said.

Master Wayne sat before he spoke anything he took a sip of water.

"Sir, nothing works out the way I thought, Master Wayne said.

"What do you mean?" Draven asked. "Enlightened me,"

"Sophie remembers everything,"

"What!"

"How...how is this possible," Draven whimpered.

"We thought that she might not able to come from the cave..." Master Wayne said.

"...but she is the reason all our students are alive,"

"What that supposed to mean?" Draven asked, getting tensed.

"Sir, I think she possesses Wharton's blood,"

"We have to kill her," Draven said, getting possessive.

"No matter what it takes,"

Suddenly Sophie appeared out of the wall.

"What the fuck," Sophie screamed, getting angry.

"Sophie, what are you doing here?" Master Wayne asked, rising from the chair.

"I was just getting familiar with the wall walking..." Sophie said, getting hyper.

"...I didn't think that I will be hearing about my murder plan,"

"Behave," Master Wayne shouted.

"Shut up, you two-faced man," Sophie yelled, pointing at Master Wayne.

Draven was glaring at him all the time. Sophie without further words disappeared through the wall.

Sophie stood in front of Laura's room and yelled her name while was beating the door. She was crying but at the same time, she was angry.

Laura opened the door.

"What happened?" Laura asked, hugging Sophie.

She went inside the room. Laura closed the door. They sat on the bed. Laura gave her a tissue box. Sophie wiped her tears and nose.

"Among all the elementals, who can kill Master Wayne?" Sophie asked.

"Are you drunk," Laura said.

"Why are you talking nonsense?"

"Just tell me," Sophie forced.

"No one, he has utmost powers," Laura told.

"But why are you talking this shit,"

As she was going to tell Laura about the conspiracy, her phone started to ring.

"Wait, its mom," Sophie said, seeing her phone. She picked up the call.

"Hello..." Sophie said.

"Sophie, please come fast," Emily said, crying. She sounded devastated.

"What happened, mom?" Sophie rose from the bed and asked in a high voice.

"I can't tell on the phone, your father..." Emily said, continued crying.

"What happened to dad?" Sophie asked, getting scared.

"Hello...hello..." The line disconnected
