20th Tenkaichi budokai begins

After they registered all of them except Ox-king passed the preliminaries without any hassle.

The majority of the people got trashed in just a single punch from them.However, Ox-king had been unlucky to get in a group with a strong expert whose attendance shocked even Alex.

One interesting event to note was that after the prelims were over the saiyans gathered together to introduce each others allies for the tournament.

It turned out that Vegeta and Nappa hadn't taken any allies as they felt that all humans were too weak for them.

They instead kept training themselves to the greatest extent possible.

Now that he was close Alex could feel that Vegeta had learnt how to hide his ki really well so that even he could not figure out his true power level accurately.

But he felt that his battle power shouldn't have exceeded 500 000 yet.

Even then he had to admit that Earth really was a magical place.

All bad guys kept running into the Earth and even Kakarot with weak talent could grow up to be a powerhouse.

The Earth's martial art culture involving ki had really improved Vegetas foundation allowing his strength to improve by leaps and bounds.

Kakarot hadn't even grown up yet Vegeta was already getting close to his power level when he first became and super saiyan.

The young tournament host announced the names of the top 8 people in the following order:- Vegeta, Nam, Nappa, Raditz, Roshi, Ox-king, Kibito, Shin.

Hmph!

Sure enough, it really was the east supreme kai along with trusted attendant Kibito in the flesh.

Why did they show up now?

Was there truly nothing to do in the world of the kai that they descended here to have a bit of fun.

Shin smiled and waved at the audience with his godly grace.

It really seemed that he was a harmless being who would hurt no one.

Kibito on the other hand stared at them rudely.

He could already feel the disdain that Kibito had for the mortals materialising in front of him.

Even though he was curios for the reason of their appearance it wasn't that he could just walk up to them to ask them if Majin buu was being released by Babidi.

If these two were to fight in the tournament then even he would have to get serious.

The matching order was displayed on the board:-

1 Roshi vs Nam

2 Alex vs Shin

3 Raditz vs Nappa

4 Vegeta vs Kibito

It seemed that he would have the chance to fight a god pretty soon as the supreme kai wasn't going to admit defeat to a mortal and neither would he!

He just hoped that Vegeta won't take his inevitable defeat too badly.

Soon the battle between Roshi and Nam began.

Roshi masterfully dodged all the attacks that Nam performed and easily knocked him out once he got nature's call.

After the battle Roshi encouraged the young man and quickly went to the rest room.

After the first battle was over the young blonde host announced the beginning of Alex and Shins battle.

Both of them rushed forward and began their confrontation with Alex using a kaioken times 3 right from the start boosting his power to 150.

Even Raditz could use kaioken times four so he naturally could access it's higher versions.

It was just that he wanted to get a safe estimate of the power he needed to beat Shin.

Alex was for the first time in his life suppressed in power level in the following clash of fists.

After the first punch Shin sent towards him he had almost been thrown out of the ring.

Just as he was about to leave the ring he used his tail to barely hang on to the small ring.

He jumped back into the ring for another round. After this exchange he estimated that supreme kai battle power should be close to 180 million. Unlike Freeza he had full control of this power.

It seemed that he was testing his powers and had no ill intention for him.

He fired ki blasts as a feint to have him look at him for more after he finished when he cast the solar flare.

He rushed towards Shin and used Kaioken times ten at a critical position to punch him out of the stage.

Thankfully he didn't have to turn into a super saiyan.

His super saiyan form was likely to create tsunamis and earthquakes all over the world resulting in a huge loss of life.

If it happened he would have to take the trouble to revive people using the dragonballs.

He walked out of the stage once the young blonde host announced the results.

While was walking towards the fighters area Shin came up to him and asked, "If you are already so powerful then why don't you go fight freeza force that has been hunting you?"

Alex, "What do you want from me?"

Shin, "Allow me to introduce myself first, I am the supreme kai.I have currently visited the Earth as an evil magician named babidi has been trying to unleash an ancient monster his father had once created and I need all the help I can get in the future battle."

Alex, "What does it have to do with me?"

Shin, "That babidi has gone into the demon realm to collect some strong subordinates. But to escape my surveillance he used his powers to control the evil freeza force outside the planet.

Now they will crazily launch an attack on innocent planets who are in vicinity. I also suspect that some of them are in direct control under Babidi and are trying to gather the energy needed to revive Majin Buu."

"Please help me save those people from the freeza force ."

Alex closed his eyes and began to ponder upon the matter.

It seemed that Babidi had not managed to get Dabura that demon king who could spit people into stone statues yet.

It was a huge relief to know that his butterfly effect hadn't caused Majin Buu to wake up earlier.

As for the freeza force he planned on dealing with them eventually so he didn't mind doing it for a favour from the supreme kai.

About the tournament he planned to leave a clone as it would be more than enough to win the first place.

"Do you have the details about the freeza force numbers supreme kai?"

"Yes, please follow me."

Vegeta watched the whole development with his eyes wide-open. It seemed that he still underestimated Alex but he didn't believe that he had lost the battle for the throne yet.

He had closely analysed the technique that Alex used and determined that it used accelerated ki in exchange for power.

He could replicate the technique but chose not to as he didn't need it with his oozaru mode and he could already feel that he was about to reach the legendary super saiyan realm.

As strong as Alex was, he was still hiding on Earth from Freeza along with them.

Vegeta believed that as long as he could become a super saiyan he would be prove to be more than a match for Alex.

As Alex was leaving Vegeta saw him make 4 clones and leave a clone behind as he followed the Shin guy to God knows where.

He had to focus on his next match with Kibito. It seemed that guy was a subordinate of Shin so he would prove to be a challenge.

Oh! Never mind. It seemed that his would be opponent was also leaving with Alex and Shins.

After going a distance away from the tournament space Kibito held their hands and teleported them to Majin freeza forces location.

As Alex and Shin with Kibito left the planet to protect the other planets being attacked by the Majin freeza force, another crisis enveloped the earth in the former of Majin Ginyu force.

The next chapter will feature this new earth warriors battle against the Ginyu Force.
