Chapter 138

After Mira did his show of power he stopped blasting his ki in all directions and condensed it into a giant ki blade on his hand, he then jumped high into the sky and sliced down onto the arena, cutting off a piece of the arena where we were standing on.

When Mira landed back on the ground, the piece of the arena we were standing on started floating away but it soon stopped, however a significant gap had formed between the 2 floating arena pieces, luckily no one was still on our new mini stage, considering anyone who was close by when Mira released his power got sent flying.

Mira-"There, now no one will interrupt our battle."

Grabbing my bracers off my arms and storing them in one of my pockets, the moment I do, my true power explodes outs, creating gusts of wind, but it still can't compare to Mira's demonstration, however, I'm just getting started.

Sage-"Listen, Mira, I don't give a fuck about your dumbass goal of becoming the strongest being, all I care about is seeing you suffer and feel pain, and that's exactly what I'm about to do!"

With my statement the anger I've accumulated since that day explodes out, along with me transforming into an LSSj, my hair grows bigger and spikes up while gaining a greenish tint, and my stature slightly increases, In the process of transforming I didn't keep my power in check as even though I could now, I saw no reason to do so.

My aura was so dense and powerful that it caused the entire arena to shake, Mira who saw that also released his ki to fight against mine, however neither of us could get the upper hand which only meant our power was about equal, but I expected that, so I stopped the stupid power struggle and charged right at Mira.

Sage-"MIIRRAAAAAA!!!!"

Mira-"I refuse to ever be DEFEATED again!!"

When we collided, an explosion so powerful that it could wipe out a universe happened with us at the center, but that was merely the prologue to the true fight!

While we were watching the tournament, we suddenly saw Sage, who had been meditating on top of the timer pole, stand up and jump over in the direction of someone from universe 2, catching some of us in surprise as he was the same guy who had spoken about the idea of allowing mortals to fight.

Beerus-"Hm, Heles who is that fighter, he must be quite powerful if he is the only person from your universe to still be alive?"

When I looked over at Heles I saw how her expression turned into one of absolute confidence, the same type of confidence that punk Belmond had when he mentioned Jiren.

Heles-"His name is Mira, I don't know much else about him, but what I do know is that he is incredibly powerful, probably even more powerful than that Jiren guy!"

Belmond-"Hmph, stop spouting nonsense, no one down there is more powerful than Jiren."

Beerus-"I see where your guys' confidence stems from, but with Sage participating, it'll only end in vain, Universe 7 will win."

Heles-"Say what you want, let's just watch as the person representing my universe will defeat yours."

Grunting in response, I focus back on Sage and watch how that Mira guy starts going through his monologue, when he finally finished he suddenly released an astronomical amount of ki, giving everyone here a shock of their lives as no mortal has ever wielded this much power before.

Beerus-"T-That's- Hows could a mortal even have this much power!?"

Belmond-"H-He's even more powerful than Jiren! No, how's that possible, Jiren is supposed to be the strongest!"

Heles-"Haha, told you guys, no one will be able to defeat him, my win is secured."

No one else responded as our 3 universes were the only ones left in the tournament, everyone else had been erased, we watched how Mira formed a giant ki blade and separated a piece of the arena, before returning to his original spot. We then saw Sage take off his bracers, allowing his full power to be unleashed, though it still wasn't even close to Mira's full power I knew Sage was still holding back, all I could do was hope he would somehow have enough power to contend with Mira, and it seemed like he didn't let me down.

When Sage transformed his power skyrocketed, becoming equal to Mira's, but his ki was too violent, as its power even reached the stands we were in, causing them to shake.

Belmond-"N-Not only 1 but 2 mortals who have more power than Jiren? Hehe, our chances of winning are looking bad."

Heles-"How!? How is his power equal to Mira's!?"

Beerus-"Hahahaha, wouldn't you like to know."

I didn't answer her question as I didn't know the answer either, but that didn't matter right now, all that mattered is Sage has that power and now he might be able to win.

Beerus-'C'mon Sage, If you don't win we'll get erased!'

Goku-"Hehe, I knew Sage was powerful, but for him to be this strong, it seems I still have a long way to go!"

Jiren-"...…"

Vegeta-"So he finally decided to show his true power, was wondering what was taking so long."

Toppo-"To think he was holding back so much when we fought, he truly is powerful."

When we collided we grabbed each other and tried overpowering the other, but that turned out futile as our power is practically equal, so we pushed off each other.

Sage-'Our power is too close for us to be able to overpower the other, looks like it comes down to technique and skill.'

After firing a couple of ki blasts, I charge back at Mira while hiding behind them and when I'm close I try taking Mira by surprise with a punch to the stomach, but he dodged it and tried counterattacking with an elbow, however I managed to block it. Pushing him off my arms, I try an axe kick to his head, but he blocked it while also sending a kick to my exposed torso, though when I saw it wouldn't hit any vital parts, I decided to tank the attack.

When the kick landed I immediately felt pain, but it wasn't something I'd never felt before, grabbing his leg with my arm before he can retract it back, I pull his leg which offsets his balance causing him to fall to the ground, and since I'm still holding onto his leg I do a backflip while aiming to slam him into the ground, however just before I could he shot ki blasts at me that forced me to let go or I would've been hit

Flashing away, I see Mira landed perfectly fine with not a scratch on him and this puts a smile on my face, as I start thinking this is going to be one of my most memorable fights ever.
