Chapter 8: Intense Sparring Match Between Prodigies

*A Couple Hours Later after the feast: Morning Time*

[Location: Wasteland(Couple miles away from Daikon and Nazna's house)]

Kakarot and Caulifla can be seen smirking at one another as they are currently in their respective stances.

Kakarot's stance is reminiscent of his counterpart but with more of a feral outlook to it whereas Caulifla's is that of a brawler.

On the other hand, Nira, Nazna, Daikon along with Kale can be seen watching them in the distance where they wouldn't be caught in the crossfire of their attacks or at least in Kale's case.

"How did we manage to convince our mothers to allow us to do this exactly?" Kakarot couldn't help but ask since he is still processing their predicament from earlier.

*Quick Flashback to Kakarot and Caulifla using the iconic puppy eyes technique much to Caulifla's reluctance on their mothers which causes them to squeal in joy seeing how cute they look together and then they get hugged tightly by both of them.*

[Back to the Present]

"Beats me! I couldn't care less! At least I'm facing a worthy opponent and if you lose, I want you to help me organize a gang when we get older and you can be my second in command!" Caulifla arrogantly states believing that she'll win against Kakarot.

"Eh? Your really going down that route huh? Something tells me that it'll be more than just a simple gang your forming down the line. Fine, but if I win, you owe me a favor and there are no take backs if you lose." After this statement, both Kakarot and Caulifla blast off towards each other with punches at the ready.

Launching their punches at one another when they meet face to face in the air. Their fists clash creating a shockwave and Kakarot is shown to have the upper hand as Caulifla is slowly pushed back due to his superior strength but that doesn't mean anything if she's faster.

Caulifla quickly flips herself over Kakarot and she sends him a axe kick to his back propelling him away from her and she sends a barrage of ki blasts towards him.

(with Kakarot)

Getting his bearings together, Kakarot sees the ki barrage and he quickly maneuvers his way through them while spiraling towards Caulifla with a smile on his face seeing that he's having fun in this sparring session.

"Tycoon Silver Impact!!" He fires the sliver colored blast towards Caulifla destroying her ki barrage and she immediately counters with one of her own attacks.

"Crush Cannon!!" She fires off multiple red energy blasts at Kakarot in rapid succession.

The beams then clash against one another creating an immense shockwave that breaks apart their surroundings much to the approval of the others who are watching at a distance.

(With Nira and the others)

"Impressive, seems that both our kids are much stronger than we were at their age. Reminds me of old times when we used to do shit like this whenever we had the time when the teachers weren't on our asses." Nazna softly elbows Nira in the stomach with a feel of nostalgia remembering their time at Takenoko Academy while seeing Kakarot and Caulifla go at it with seemingly little to no end.

" Yeah I also miss those times. Changing subject, since when did she learn to fire off a blast like that exactly? Even Renso when he was her age couldn't do anything like that." Sharing her sentiment from what Nazna referred to, but she couldn't help but ask about Caulifla's new attack technique with a tone of curiosity.

"Don't know because I never used a technique like that before and I have my own arsenal of moves that I have yet to teach her. Seems that my own daughter is a prodigy in the making." With a praise of pride for her daughter's progress, Nazna continues to converse with Nira about other things while Daikon just watches this happen while having the feeling that his existence is being ignored.

'So I'm being ignored huh? Well at least I got Kale here to talk to.' Daikon looks at Kale who is lying on his shoulder, but he sees that she is paying very close attention to the match happening making his mood dampen making him think that he should've just stayed in bed.

Kale looks on at Kakarot and Caulifla who are shown to have several bruises and scratches across their bodies but it doesn't cause for any concern due to their facial expressions that show that they are not bothered by them.

And it seems that as the spar goes on, both Kakarot and Caulifla seemed to be adapting against one another seeing that their attacks are becoming more intense and more efficient in precision on how they land along with their respective fighting styles becoming more refined and more fit for future battles.

(With Kakarot and Caulifla)

Both can be seen fighting against each other at very fast speeds making it look like afterimages showing their prowess when compared to earlier.

"HAAAAHHH!!!" Kakarot manages to land several knee kicks to Caulifla which staggers her position and momentum in the air giving him a perfect opening to land another attack as he goes for an straight handed punch towards her face.

"Heh." Smirking, Caulifla immediately gets into position and quickly evades the strike by a hair's length and she delivers a devastating liver punch to his sides causing Kakarot to gush out saliva out of his mouth showing how painful the strike was.

Before Kakarot could counterattack, he is then hit by an double axe handle punch from behind courtesy of Caulifla who managed to get behind him in his moment of agony. He gets blown away from the impact it had behind on his body as he soars through the air.

While crashing through rocky landforms, Kakarot begins to move his tail diagonally as he swings it around which forces his body to turn in the direction he wants to which is towards Caulifla's location.

'This is fun. Though I can't help but sense her power has increased since we started sparring and it seems to be the same for me. Is it because we're both prodigies when compared to other Saiyans?' Using the knowledge of the series from he believes is past life (so far, he only remembers up to the Raditz saga and the Bardock Special), Kakarot couldn't help but wonder if there is more than just being a Saiyan.

Directing his feet onto the surface of the rocky landform, he propels himself and with a fast burst of speed appears right in front of Caulifla who widens her eyes a bit in surprise before getting decked in the chest by Kakarot's knee.

The impact implodes on her organs a bit causing her to spit out a bit of blood from her mouth and she then gets kicked in the face.

"HAAAH!!!!" Kakarot goes in for another blow and before he could land it, he then gets bombarded with ki blasts at point blank range causing some serious damage to his clothing as the sleeves are torn off completely.

"Your really good. I can't believe that I'm actually experiencing what it feels like to go at it with someone; consider yourself my sparring partner from now on and if anyone else wants you as their own partner, THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE TO ANSWER TO ME!!! OTHERWISE, I"LL BEAT WHOEVER WANTS YOU AS THEIR PARTNER!!!!" Caulfila cracks her knuckles showing how serious she is despite being a three year old causing giggles from Nira and Nazna who are still watching from a distance and an expression of horror from Daikon seeing that it will have a completely different meaning when they get older. Kale looks on in confusion, not knowing the extent of what the statement meant but looking at everyone's expression, it must mean something.

"Papa, what does big sis mean exactly?" This question causes Daikon to panic internally as sweat can be seen rolling down his head and he sees Nira and Nazna laughing at his predicament causing him to remember how they used to bully him during his time at the academy.

"W-well...uh.....you'll find out when your older and plus, this is something your mother should explain." He quickly says causing Nazna to gape at him with a look of mock betrayal before glaring at him sadistically.

"Okay..." Kale meekly responds back then she turns to look to see if Kakarot and Caulifla are still sparring.

Only to see them both knocked unconscious making it a tie as Nira and Nazna quickly fly down to pick them up so they can heal their injuries at their respective houses.

"It was nice seeing you all again after all these years, and I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow seeing as how Kakarot managed to bond with Caulifla quite a bit." Nazna responds with "Well the more the better of getting Caulifla to stop being rebellious."

Nira takes off into the sky towards her house with Kakarot over her shoulder.
