Chapter 7: Old Friends Catching Up

AN: Looks like the Primal Roots Path wins by landslide; For those who wanted Kakarot to learn God Ki, he'll eventually acquire it but it's going to be more difficult for him to learn it compared to his universe 7 counterpart but he will gain a grasp of it.

[Minutes after getting inside Nazna's house]

Nira and Nazna can seen conversing with one another at the kitchen table as they catch up on what has happened ever since they last saw each other.

"So you'll actually retired huh? About damn time you did!? It's been boring without ya! And now with you here now, we can can finally spar like we used to back at the academy! And man were you ruthless back then!" Nazna exclaims with stars in her eyes at the news of Nira's retirement from the Sadala Army.

"Yeah I did heh heh..... So how's Daikon doing?" Asking since Nazna's excitement made her remember a time when she wasn't the kind hearted person that she is today making her feel slightly awkward at the memory but it was how she met Callion since she used to bully him back at the academy.

"Sleeping his ass off like usual though I don't blame him cause he's been like that ever since Renso moved out because of your recommendation for a position in the Sadala Defense Force after he graduated from the academy and he was the only one to calm down Caulifla without using violence like I usually do. And yet it seems that your kid managed to do that with just that tail of his. Why does he have a tail in the first place?" Razna answers but couldn't help but ask Nira on why Kakarot has a tail since she has never heard of a Saiyan being born with a tail.

"Well actually I was surprised to know that Kakarot was born with a tail myself when I came to pick him up at the medical facility cause of the notification Taro sent me telling me that he was ready to be released out of the incubation pod." Putting down a cup filled with tea onto the table, Nira quickly answers on what she knows of Kakarot's abnormality.

"Taro huh? So that nerd actually became an scientist like he wanted; I'm not surprised considering that despite being one of the weakest Saiyans at the academy, he made it through because of his brain. It's thanks to him that we even passed though he sucked during the combat classes but he pulled through." Reminiscing on the times that she and Nira would prank the hell out of Callion, Daikon, and Taro since they were known as the trio of trouble makers since in every situation involving them would end up in a disaster.

Nira after hearing this begins to smile remembering all the good times that happened during her time at the academy and couldn't but shed a tear or two considering that those were the best years of her life since Callion was still alive and she noted that several times in the academy that he had a special effect on people. His genuine compassion for others and love of life in its most simple nature was inspirational enough for her to change somewhat for the better, and it made her into the person she is today.

'Seems that Kakarot will have an interesting time in the academy in three years times considering the qualities he's inherited from his father. Though it seems that with his condition, it might prove difficult when he gets older.' Referring to his tail, Nira quietly sips on while wondering how Kakarot is doing in the other room

[ With Kakarot ]

Kakarot can be seen in a room with two beds separated by one another with one half being generally normal and the other half having a punkish vibe to it. Caulifla with another girl whose features include dark-skin along with downcast eyes with grey irises. She has shaggy shoulder-length black hair and she is hiding behind Caulifla who is staring blankly at Kakarot.

"So since that old hag blurted out my name at the door! You are obliged to tell me yours and this is Kale by the way whose is my (adoptive) sister and my future protégé." She explains with a tomboyish attitude and Kale confirms this by nodding.

"Well if we're going to be acquainted then my name is Kakarot and it's nice to meet you two. Though Caulifla, I want to fight you if you have the time to do so cause I want to see where your strength currently lies when compared to my own." Bowing a bit to show respect, Kakarot instinctively wave his tail back and forth which again catches Caulifla's attention and Kale gets surprised at the sight of his tail.

"I...Is t-that.....real?" Kale very quietly says in a meek tone of voice much to Caulifla's interest since she's been wondering that herself if the tail is real or not.

"Yep." Instantly replies Kakarot with a cheerful tone as he shows off his tail in all it's glory. "But please don't grab it cause it will paralyze my body." He quickly states before the girls do anything out of curiosity and Kale shyly nods at this information.

"Why would you just flat out tell us that if you didn't want to be demolished by me in the quickest way possible by telling us your greatest weakness?" Crossing her arms, Caulifla couldn't help but ask with Kale internally agreeing on the topic as she is now standing beside her showing that she gathered herself some courage while staring at Kakarot's tail.

"Because I plan on getting rid of the weakness by training it to be completely apart of my body so when someone pulls on it, my body wouldn't paralyze itself." Kakarot answers back and before he could suggest a spar between them he hears his mother call from the other room.

"Kakarot! Bring the girls since I made some dinner!" Calling from the other room Kakarot looks towards Kale and Caulifla and they nod as they follow him to the kitchen.

When they get there, the food that awaited them causes stars to appear in both Kakarot and Caulifla's eyes as they couldn't help but drool at the sight of the delicious looking food which could be counted at around 80-150 bowls of food entirely.

"DON'T YOU DARE EAT EVERYTHING LIKE YOU DID LAST TIME! Be thankful for Nira here since she was kind enough to cook us this meal while you all were getting to know each other. And don't eat anything until I can get your father out of bed." Nazna quickly berates Caulifla right before she could launch herself to eat the food causing her grumble slightly pissed off causing a sweat drop to appear on Kakarot and Nira's forehead while Kale barely reacts cause she's used to it ever since she was adopted from the orphanage around a couple weeks before Kakarot was released out of the incubation pod. Nazna then goes to her bedroom so she can wake up her husband(mate) Daikon.

[A few Minutes Later]

"Damn it dear, can't I lay in and sleep!" A man who is seen wearing the typical saiyan armor whose facial features from his hair being similar to Caulifla along with his shaved beard comes out of the bedroom with a large bump on his head most likely from Nazna as she comes out after with a irritated expression on her face.

"That's what you get for oversleeping again Daikon, besides an old friend came to visit and she has also has a kid of her own. So please don't be an ass." Grabbing onto his ear much to his protest, Nazna drags Daikon all the way to the kitchen.
