The Room of Spirit and Time

"Woah...it's a huge white void," says Lemogras in amazement. He walks outside the building and immediately falls to his knees, because outside the building, the gravity's ten times stronger and the air's thinner.

Baezel laughs. "It's like he's never experienced stronger gravity before."

"Or thin air."

"I said a void," he says.

"You didn't say a void."

When Radichio says the word "void", it echoes throughout the room. Baezel sleeps for a day in the chamber, and wakes up the next day to begin training.

To start the training, Lemogras runs towards and jumps up to Baezel, then does a barrage of punches, which Baezel dodges. He tries to kick him in the chin, but Baezel catches his leg and slams him to the ground. Lemogras backflips and gets himself onto his feet, then flies towards Baezel to perform a headbutt. He and his father clash fists, and Baezel kicks him away. Lemogras stops himself midair and flies back towards Baezel, who gets him in a Full Nelson and bends Lemogras's arms.

"Owww!!! Dad, let me go!" he shouts.

"Not until your rage flares up!" Baezel shouts back.

"Stop it, you're hurting me!"

"Then get angrier!"

"Please, stop it!!"

"Get angrier!!!"

"I SAID STOP IT!!!!" Lemogras screamed, ripping himself away from Baezel's grip. His aura was turned on, and he was enraged. He prepared to punch his father, but Baezel quickly turned Super Saiyan and struck Lemogras in his gut, knocking him out cold. Baezel then detransformed.

"That's the kinda rage I want to see more of," Baezel said to Lemogras. "One day, it's gonna benefit us all."

Draft is meditating at the top of the plaza in the Room of Spirit and Time. He has a purple, wispy aura around him with small sparks of electricity seeping out. Currently, he's in Ascended Super Human, and is attempting to master it by meditating in the form. In his mind, he imagines a strong Saiyan to battle against, and fights until he either dies or wins against the Saiyan.

Radichio is in Super Saiyan 2, and is seeking to gain Super Saiyan 3 the same way that Baezel did. He increased his power as high as it could go, then tried to go past it. No matter how much he screamed or how big his aura got, he was still no closer to achieving the form.

"I don't get it! I'm doing the exact same thing Baezel did but I can't transform! Why?! Do I not have a high enough mastery of Super Saiyan 2?!" Radichio says to himself. He tries again, powering up to the max and trying to go beyond his limits. He gains the first step, the glowing hair, and he continues to power up. He gains the second step, his hair bending back and starting to increase in length. Radichio stops, falling to his knees and breathing heavily, with all the steps being reversed. "It seems that I can't achieve this in one day. I'll try to do this tomorrow." Radichio then went back to shadow boxing in Super Saiyan 2.

The next week inside of the room is a week of intense 2v2 sparring. Radichio and Baezel team up against Draft and Lemogras, and take turns switching teams each day. This not only allows for Baezel, Radichio and Draft to all get rematches against each other, it allows for Lemogras to pick up scraps of all three of their fighting styles, and to get some Zenkai boosts too. The week after that, Lemogras spends time creating a new technique of his - the Golden Dome Attack. It surrounds him with a large yellow aura, which he then launches out a large ki beam from. He tests it out on Baezel first, then Radichio, then Draft. It seems to be a pretty effective move. They then spend another week relaxing. The last few days of the month inside are spent refining old techniques and finding ways to do cool stuff with them. Baezel tries experimenting with the Kamehameha, and ends up being able to bend it, and compress it into blasts. Radichio is able to make a more destructive variant of the Big Bang Attack, which is now able to collapse in on itself and implode. Draft creates a larger variant of the Android Flash, not in the form of a beam, but in the form of a large ki sphere.

The rest of the time is spent training as hard as everybody possibly could, mastering new techniques and transformations along the way. In five months, Lemogras transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time. In a month, Draft creates the Limit Breaker transformation, which works kind of like overclocking - it provides an intense power boost, but will damage his body over time. Seven months have passed inside the Room of Spirit and Time, and at this point, Baezel and Radichio spend the remaining 5 months trying to master Super Saiyan 3 by sparring with each other and remaining in Super Saiyan 3 for as long as they can.

After a year in the room, everyone got some fantastic gains. Radichio has achieved Super Saiyan 3, though it is unstable. Lemogras can become a Super Saiyan at will now, though it drains his ki a little. Baezel has seemingly mastered Super Saiyan 3, as it no longer drains his ki. Draft became much stronger than he was before and got a whole new transformation, with Super Human and Ascended Super Human both being mastered. They still have almost a whole year before Parakress's scheduled arrival on Earth, and they're not sure if they're all ready to exit the room.

The team decides to leave the place and just relax, and wait for Parakress to arrive, occasionally doing some light sparring with Radichio to help him master Super Saiyan 3, and to help Lemogras control his rage. It's a pretty nice life.

A year later, Parakress's ship arrives near a city. Baezel senses that a powerful ki signature has arrived on Earth.

Parakress fires a ki blast at the city and destroys it completely.

"What planet is this?" he asks.

"Uh, Earth?" says Appule through his scouter.

"Thought so...now, let's see if I can sense the life force of a potential opponent."

Parakress flies off to a rocky wasteland, and Draft, Radichio and Lemogras go off to fight him, while Baezel decides that he needs to go back to the Room of Spirit and Time, as he feels that Super Saiyan 3 still isn't ready yet.

Parakress takes out a large jar of green liquid and sprays it onto the ground. Saibaimen are created, but these are genetically modified Saibaimen. They're muscular, green, have red eyes, spikes all over their body, spiked tails, are around 6 feet tall, and they are very powerful. He creates a hundred of them, and sends them off to fight the trio.

Radichio and Lemogras transform into Super Saiyans and try to fight off the Saibaimen, but they are being overwhelmed.

Draft goes over to help Radichio and Lemogras fight them off. He tries to fire an Android Flash at one of them, but two hold him back. He has to use an Explosive Wave to get them off, then fires a ki wave at one of their heads. More of them jump the trio, and they all get thrown around by the Saibaimen. It's only making Lemogras angrier.

"Hah hah hah hah! Those Saibaimen are going to kill you all before I do! This is perfect," Parakress says.

Meanwhile, Baezel is still training alone in the Room of Spirit and Time, unaware that his friends are there fighting off coked-up Saibaimen. After he finishes his extra month of training in the room, which was about two hours outside, he exits and immediately senses over a hundred new ki signatures, and one large one. He also senses that his friends seem to be fighting them.

"I don't recognize any of these ki signatures,"Baezel says. "I've got to go and help my friends!"

He immediately tries to lock onto Parakress's ki so that he can teleport to him.

He closes his eyes, and focuses on feeling the presence of the strongest ki you can find. Concentrating, he begins to feel it, and his mind travels into the presence of the other powerful energy.

"I've got him!"

He's finally able to lock onto his ki, so he puts two fingers on his head and teleports to him.

Lemogras fires a barrage of large ki blasts at a Saibaiman, killing it. Draft uses a ki attack in Super Human to behead one of them, and Radichio kills a large amount of them with a Final Flash, while Parakress just sits back and watches, hoping that the Saibaimen kill them for him. One of them tries to launch itself at Lemogras, but luckily, Baezel teleports to the battlefield in Super Saiyan 3, kicking the Saibaiman's head off and disintegrating its body with a ki beam. Something's different about Baezel's Super Saiyan 3. The hair and tail are light blonde instead of golden, and he looks visibly more muscular. Everyone can tell that he's gotten stronger.

One of the last few alive, the Saibaiman fires a blast of energy from its mouth at him, but he deflects it and sends it back to the Saibaiman, making its head explode and thus killing it.

"Dad!" Lemogras shouts with joy.

"Baezel!" Radichio says.

"Took you long enough," Draft says.

"I second that." Parakress stands up. "Your power level is the highest one here. Are you the one who killed Gangal?"

"I was there to fight him, so kind of?" Baezel says.

"As I thought," Parakress says.

"You won't get out of this alive." Baezel motions for the others to leave, as he stares down Parakress.

"I'll go with my Dad," Lemogras says.

"Go with Draft; you'll be OK with him," Radichio says.

"Don't worry about me," Baezel chimes in.

"I want to help you, though!" Lemogras shouts.

"I know, but your mother will kill me and ground you if you get hurt. Just go!"

Lemogras, Draft, and Radichio leave and go to a nearby rock formation, where they can watch the fight safely.

"You really are an imbecile if you think that I'm going to stand by and let some idiot that killed my right hand man walk away alive!" Parakress says.

"You and him are both evil and you know it!" Baezel replies.

"Evil? What are you talking about?" Parakress asks defensively. "We're only acting the way that true Saiyans would've acted! We're keeping the spirit of our race alive, which you've cast aside in favor of the spirit of weaklings!"

Baezel says, "You and I are both Saiyans, but there's a difference between me and you. I've adopted the ways of Earth, and I'm peaceful. Whereas you have stayed with Saiyan tradition and continue to eliminate alien races and sell planets to the highest bidder - just like a traditional Saiyan would. My lifestyle is safer and more sustainable than yours could ever be."

Parakress doesn't respond. His anger and pride is overcoming his common sense.

The two Saiyans begin to battle each other, but it's barely a fight at all. Parakress is just punching Baezel over and over, and his hits do nothing to him. He backflips and tries to use the Final Shine Attack on him, but it doesn't do anything.

"Why can't I do anything to you?!" Parakress asks. He continues to punch Baezel, and it still does nothing. It's just tearing his knuckles to shreds.

Baezel begins to see the sweat of exhaustion on Parakress's face.

Parakress is losing control of himself, and his anger is clouding his judgment.

He uppercuts Baezel then kicks him in the gut, still doing nothing.

Parakress jumps into the sky and throws a barrage of ki blasts at Baezel, which he all tanks. It just kicks around dust onto Baezel's gi.

Despite the fact that Parakress is a far more experienced fighter than Baezel is, he's losing. He's enraged, and he powers up, shaking the entire planet with his purple aura, which then turns gold. Parakress unleashes his full power, as his eyes turn blue and his hair golden. Just like his right hand man, Parakress can become a Super Saiyan.

"Finally, a good fucking challenge," Baezel says, smirking and turning his aura on.

"I see that you can finally start fighting seriously now," Parakress replies. Baezel teleports into the sky to fight Parakress, and the fight is rather even. They clash fists and kicks, and the vibrations shake the area that they are fighting in. While they are at least a mile away, the other Grand Battlers can just barely make out the auras of the fighters.

"Who do you think will win?" Lemogras asks.

"I can't say for sure," Draft replies. "They seem to be fighting equally. Honestly, I might give it to Baezel if he works quickly."
