Reviews of Douluo Dalu: Ice Emperor

Well... This is a Russian author, the link can be found in the first few chapters, so no issue there... But Translator... if you are going to bother with translating then AT LEAST EDIT IT..... 99% of the chapter is machine translated and you change a word or two per chapter, but everything else is left untouched, as expected of a machine-translated novel, about 30% of the content is left unreadable

It hurts to read this, the grammar and weird use of words just ends up making you more confuse of whatever it's trying to explain. The translation is just as bad as a machine translation. You are better off just slapping all the chapters into grammerly, and it might just give you less headaches when reading this.

Can you tell me where can I find this book? There are few to none fics in where the mc is a spirit beast. Thanks for bringing a 'fresh' so to say, fic to this site

I mean story wise it’s pretty good. But quite a few problems. - grammar - Weird dialogue (uses -Hi- instead of “Hi”) - TOO MUCH EXPLAINING with very little dialogue to counteract it - Paragraph upon paragraph of summaries with a couple sentences of talking makes it boring Easy to lose interest due to said problems as I found it hard to keep going with stale flow of events

Its a good story with an interesting idea but sadly the following just makes it difficult to read: -Too much narration and summary -A lot of info dumps -Bad Grammar -Rare dialogues and interaction between characters -Character feels dead due to the lack of dialogues (You wont feel the emotion of the characters like if the enemy is angry and furious you wont be able to feel that particular emotion on that character) If you can ignore and bear with this cons then you might like the story.

I like it mostly because of the spirit beast MC. Also I like updating stability, story development, the Douluo world and MCs plans. English is not my first language, so I dont pay attantion to text mistakes. Thanks for a good fanfic! Just keep going!

Good story but absolutely trash translations. Tl didn't even bother correcting the terms or even fixing the grammar. They just translated it with google translate or something and then just posted it with little to no editing. You'll forget the last paragraph you read while reading the next one because you'd have to focus your entire brain just to make sense of this incoherent word jumble. Seriously, atleast use grammarly or something.

I've been waiting for a story like this for so long. I like the main character, cruel, but close to his family. I also find the development of power realistic and entertaining. All in all, I think you should look for an editor. Thanks for the chapters

Interesting and Great Grammar, although there are very few pronoun mistakes, it is still readable. Not to mention an MC being a Dragon, and in the world of Douluo Dalu no less. Really like it. Please Continue.
