Chapter 6

Andre looks at them with sad eyes.

"You got here pretty fast. She called you right?" Asked Andre to the policemen

" No,Kim didn't call them ..Andre I called the police because you are a lawbreaker and probably a jail breaker so you are going back to jail" Helen replied.

" Let's go" the police officer said calmly.

Andre nods.

" I will go with you but do not put those handcuffs on me in front of my son" Andre said.

" Well,you should have thought about that before breaking out of jail" Gray said.

"You have no right to make any demands Mister.. Cuff him Alex." The policer officer said.

The second police officer, Alex holsters his gun and brought out the cuffs to put on Andre.

"One of us is going to die today if you bring that thing near me" Andrea said with a deadly voice. His voice sounded so cold, sinister and deadly and the two policemen exchanged looks of unease and silence ensued again.

The police officer gave a shaky laugh and placed the handcuff back on his belt and brandished his gun again.

" C'mon move it then, we don't have all day" Officer Alex said.

Andre walks slowly towards the police van.

Junior breaks free from the arms of his mother,Kim and runs towards his father and hugs his father's legs tightly and Andre quickly falls down to his knees and grabs his son.

" Take me with you to prison daddy please" said Junior,his voice absolutely broken.

That is what broke Andre's resolve. Hearing his son cry like that cut through his heart and breaks his spirit more than any betrayal ever had. Tears began to roll down from Andre's eyes as he stares at his son.

"Don't worry son, I am not going back to prison again. I promise you" Andre said softly.

He reaches into his pocket and brings out a small gift wrapped box and extends it to his son. One of the policemen was alarmed,he brought out his gun and pointed it towards Andre but the other one signals him to relax.

Junior takes the box still crying and unwraps it. Inside he saw a beautiful ben10 watch which Andre has purchased from the gift shop earlier.

Junior quickly takes off the Golden wrist watch from his wrist and stretched his arm forward to Andre.

Andre wears the watch on Junior's wrist and fixes the locket. Then he quickly stood up and walked towards the police van.

"Daddy please don't go, daddy pleeeeaaase" Junior said weeping bitterly.

Andre is blinded by tears so he did not look back.

He enters the van and the policemen .enters it too. The vehicle began to move away,lights flashing and siren wailing.

Junior turns and runs inside the house and his mother follows him.

Gray looks at the Golden watch he at given Junior now lying on the street broken. His jaw tighten with fury.

"Stupid Little Ungrateful Brat" Gray said bitterly.
