Chapter 13, Hunting situation
" Damn that boy can be annoying at times...." Chinonso let out a breath while he walked, the person he was referring to was naturally his younger brother.
' On normal circumstances there's no way he'd pluck up the courage to go against me, am guessing this whole power thing is slowly getting to his head....'
' And that's definitely another reason for me to be cautious of this beastial change of the theirs.....' He sighed heavily.
' But on the bright side i at least got to test out my new skill' He thought as he remembered the moment he used his new skill blood manipulation.
The moment his brother tried retreating Chinonso had used his new skill to halt his movements by causing all the blood in his body to freeze to a stop in turn halting all his movements.
Though he wasn't sure why he was able to break free the next moment, in the end he still succeeded in punishing him and testing out his skill which was a double win.
With that in mind he decided to focus on his mission at hand which was to scour the surrounding area's.
It was a fact that scorpions didn't really have the best eyesight but in his case he was fortunate enough to posses adequate sight when he was reborn.
" Apart from the lake, everything else fit's the description of Jiufeng National Forest Park...." A Black scorpion said because of the countless species of trees and bird species he saw on his way through his way through the forest, plus the existence of the two peaks which looked like (Vultures).
«[Exactly my Liege, The chances of this being Jiufeng national park are as high as 80 percent]»
" Hahaha thanks for the reassurance" Chinonso felt elated on hearing the systems words.
"Hmm....If I recall correctly, The Jiufeng National Forest Park is supposedly located in Bei'anhe Town, Haidian District"
" It is a famous forest park in Beijing, only 18 kilometers (11 miles) from the Summer Palace. The two peaks look like a rousant vulture, where two ancient pines are poking into the sky, Therefore, the mountain got its name 'Jiufeng' (Vulture Peak). Its man-made forest landscape, unique rocks and varied landforms, immense forest and places of historical interest constitute a bewitching view"
" Unfortunately that's where my main worry is, With such amazing landscape this place is sure to be a tourist attraction, Which means it won't be long before we encounter people...and judging by our appearances am sure they won't welcome us with open eye's " Chinonso came to this conclusion after pondering everything over but he seemed to be missing one key component.
That being that as of now, The world was over run by EVO'S, in such a perilous world, Who in their right mind would be willing to go sight seeing in beast territory?.

After walking for so long, he finally came across a terrestrial creature (Land creature).
A few tens of meters in front of him were a single Rou deer who was busy grazing, unaware that it had been noticed by a deadly killer.
'Hehehe finally found some food'
' it's time to put all those times watching Nat Geo wild to good use' his eye's glowed a deep scarlet hue.
Like a skilled assassin, Chinonso crouched down low to the ground, standing as still as a statue with his body standing near a few dark bushes which helped in camouflaging his appearance.
He waited in place while the herbivore continued grazing, Sometimes it would occasionally move closer towards his direction which made him feel even more elated.
After only a few minutes, The deer had even entered within a 15 meter area of him, The passage of time may have been slow but in the end Chinonso knew that it would all be worth it.
' Now!' He thought, with his incredible speed he was sure of closing the distance between them before the Rou deer would be able to escape, That was just how much faith he had in his beastial speed.
He was just about to spring forth when something unexpected happened.
Awwoooooo!
' Dammit not now of all times...' Chinonso stared helpless at the sight before him.
Against his expectations he saw a pack of ferocious wolves emerge all of a sudden, Out of caution he decided to stay put but that wasn't the end of it.
«[Alert: Dog Evo Minions detected]»
As well as the pack of wolves, a similar pack of several wild dogs nearly identical to the one his sister had obliterated appeared as well.
Among the two packs two figures were far more eye-catching than the rest, one being a White wolf who was two times bigger than an average wolf with a wild dog covered in huge scar's across it's body with a noticable length 2 meter's without including its tail.
"Trespassers!!!!" The dog's growled continuously.
"Kill the Trespassers!!!!"
"Trespassers must die!!!"
"Kill all Trespassers!!!"
' Arrrghh.....,Again with these brainless suicidal idiots....' Chinonso groaned with irritation, but something else caught his attention though.
It was the fact that the pack of wolves on the other hand didn't trip off any warning signals meaning that they at least weren't the Dog EVO'S minion.
' Hmmm am guessing that means the Dog Evo can only turn dog's into it's minions am I right system?'
«[Affirmative my Liege, it is stated clearly within the guide book that any respective Evo only has total dominion over creatures of the same specific type]»
Like the skilled hunters they were, both packs swiftly encircled the herd of Rou deers in between them, trapping them in the midst of both parties without any chance of escaping.
Though they had trapped the frightened Rou deer, Both carnivorous groups were still apprehensive towards the other.
The pack of wolves were a prideful bunch, they deemed themselves as the dogs superior's snarling at them to back off, technically they were since a Wolf was known as the ancestors of dog's.
Unfortunately the dogs themselves were no push over's, When food was on the plate even their so called wolf ancestors were just a bunch of old foggys in their eye's.
Chinonso remained in hiding, his eye's made sure to cover the whole battlefield, Making sure no stray beast's escaped his sights.
'While their still preoccupied with each other, I might as well grab a few bites to eat...' he thought with shimmering eye's before taking action.
Like a trained assassin, his nibble feet made little to no sounds as he stalked closer towards the group of wolves, dogs and deer.
Like a gentle leaf in the wind he gently made his way closer to the 3 parties, making sure not to alert them of his presence.
' System how close do you think I can get to them without being noticed '
«[With your current capabilities I'd say about 10 Meters my Liege]»
'That far?, You sure I can't get any closer?'
«[Well you could my Liege but any closer than that would increase the probability of your presence being exposed]»
' Hmm...I see, well I might as well take the risk..., like they say nothing in life comes easily without taking a few risks' He urged himself, moving closer to the encirclement while making sure to mask his presence with the vegetation from the surroundings.
On reaching an area of 5 meters within their range he suddenly stopped, his body crouched down once more, his several eye's scanning through the closest animals within range.
' Now for a bit of target practice....' Chinonso said before setting his eye's on a wolf who stood about 4 meter's from him.
«[Activating Blood Manipulation]»
"....!" The targeted wolf instantly twitched weirdly, to it's confusion it felt it's body stiffen unnaturally but besides that it was ok so it didn't think much of it instead focusing it's attention on the opposing wild dogs.
After testing it out on the wolf Chinonso decided to try a few more test's which in turn helped him in asserting a few things regarding his ability.
' From what I deciphered right now it looks like my Blood Manipulation has a distance limit.., it only works on those within a 10 meter radius as of now but I can't really be sure it'll work on stronger opponents'
' Plus it's harder to control ones inner blood...., best I can do is at least halt their movements...as for killing them internally, Unfortunately they'd have to be a lot weaker than me for that to happen '
' Thankfully the strongest among these packs of beasts are the respective alpha's of each pack'
'System is it possible to ascertain the highest levels within these group of beasts'
«[Of course my Liege, so long as the target can't completely overpower you their levels can be deciphered^^]»

«[My Liege the strongest among them is only level 5 being the Dog's alpha, the Wolf's alpha is still level 4 though he does have one foot into the door of level 5, Moreover they can't completely overpower you but I'd be careful when dealing with them since they still have a chance of killing you]»
'Level 5 huh?..., hmm that's quite tricky, am still level zero so this really isn't going to be easy plus they've got numbers on their side's '
' But just cause it's not easy doesn't mean it's not possible hahaha i love the challenge!, Let's do it!' With the emergence of his intent to battle, The black scorpion also unconsciously released a dark aura.

The 3 parties were instantly alerted towards his position but then it was already to late for he had begone to move.
