Dimensional Overhaul

What was the gods' best creation? Was it man? Could it be the stars that we all gaze upon? Planets that hold life? Or probably the various dimensions that hold all? The answer is simple, the universe! The same universe that comprises all these wonderful creations. The food we eat, the people we look up to, and the mountains which stretch beyond the clouds are all part of one universe. And among the variety of races, one stood among them all. A race yielding the strongest type of magic, black magic. They were the Genois race. The fact that they were the strongest clouded their minds, why not unify the universe? They thought. During their rein, they forcibly made other races kneel before them and those who resisted were killed. Upon a mountain of bloodshed, a single man rose to the task of defeating the Genois race. Some called him a 'reaper', others 'a savior' while others squandered his name calling him a murderer. The single man possessed a special type of visual prowess known as Tsujigens. The five Tsujigens: Tsujigen of force, Tsujigen of space, Tsujigen of time, Tsujigen of power, and the Tsujigen illusion made him an unstoppable force. With this power, he wiped out the Genois race leaving none. Blessing other races with freedom. He was hailed as a god! Mysterious as a ghost! Yet still a lone man. Alas, not even his mortal body could handle his power causing him to erode. Before his death, he shared his Tsujigens for the next generation in hopes of his resurrection. In the present, a boy awoke in an unfamiliar world, with no memories of the past, and is left with a symbolic tattoo on his arm which possesses odd powers. In a universe where magic is the norm, Kevin travels to different worlds, unique in their way, to reclaim his lost memories.

Lilith

'How... why does my son have it?' a darkened figure shouted in confusion. From his tone, one could easily hear the sadness lingering in his voice.

Looking around, Kevin once again found himself in a blurry environment with a black silhouette of a man in front of him. However the time, instead of the figure getting further away it rather drew nearer. Still not seeing the face, Kevin noticed only the mouth opening to speak words.

Chirp! Chirp!

Before the figure could utter any words, an animal cry similar to a bird reached his ears forcing him to wake up.

Opening his eyes, he was greeted by the sight of the lower bottom of the doc's body.

FAAART! In a matter of seconds, a nose-destroying odor entered his nostrils, forcibly opening his eyes wide. He tried getting up to escape the stench but was immediately stopped by the pain abrupting from his injuries.

Startled, the fox jumped from his lap onto the warm embrace of a girl who sat right beside Kevin's bed.

"Lemme guess... you were having a dirty dream?" the girl said.

Looking at her, she was the same person he last saw before he lost his consciousness. Now that he probably wasn't in a life-threatening situation, he could see that the girl before him was quite beautiful in the prime of her youth. Probably even the same age as him.

"Do you feel any better?" she asked

Instead of answering, Kevin swept his gaze around the area trying to identify where he was.

'This place smells like wood. I'm in a wooden room of some sort.' Kevin inwardly concluded.

"Hey! Are you listening?" The young girl shouted demanding his attention.

Kevin started at her blankly before posing a question, "W..ho are yo..u".

"Glad you asked," she said while ignoring Kevin's imperfect sentence, "I am Lilith Origami, and also... your savior".

She pouted her chest expecting praise. Instead of him thanking her as she expected, he then asked another question with the same blank face.

"Where... am I?"Kevin asked.

"How boring! You in Haku village," Lilith said losing her vigor." specifically Haku clinic".

"You saved me?" although it was obvious from her boasting, he wanted to be sure.

Almost as if the question ignited a bomb, she began to tell her heroic tale of how the fox came to her with a worried expression. So she followed it only to end up saving Kevin, after which she began to tell how difficult the journey back was. He did not need to be an analyst to know that Lilith was adding a shit tone of exaggerations.

"Anyways what is your name?"Lilith asked, finally ending her exaggeration spree.

"Kevin," He replied bluntly. Not like there was much he knew anyways.

"Where do you come from?" Lilith continued to bombard him with questions.

"I do not know," Kevin answered genuinely"I cannot remember anything about my past aside from my name,".

"Oh?"She responded. "You must have selective memory loss, seeing that you are still able to talk and know your name,"

She then got uncomfortably close to Kevin as if going to initiate a bear hug. With a long disturbing stare, she backed away.

"The fox likes you. It is not easy to take a magical beast. Do you know where you got it?".

"Magical beasts?" Kevin asked in a confusing tone.

"They are magic beasts that are found in the wild. Ninety-eight percent of them are aggressive. They rank from one to six based on their strengths. A normal yeti would be rank one, "Lilith explained.

"Hehe, I was actu. .ally go...ing to eat it.

," Kevin said bluntly. Unknowing to him his sentence speech was getting better.

"Weirdo!" She responded followed by an odd question."Not that we got introductions out of the way, what is your body count?".

"Huh?".

"Come on, are you a virgin or not!" Lilith asked desperately while stretching her fingers out.

"How should I know? Didn't you hear when I said I lost my memories!" Kevin nearly snapped.

"When did you say that?" Lilith asked in a confused yet genuine tone.

Kevin face palmed himself. He felt himself losing brain cells. All his thoughts about her being a beauty vanished into thin air. He mentally began to shed a tear for the unfortunate man who married this bimbo.

"Anyways Mr.Virgin, Doc said you can be released tomorrow since most of your injuries are healed. I brought food for you a while ago, The doc couldn't be here due to some work," She said as she handed him a bowl of porridge.

"Don't call me Mr. virgin".

"Sure thing, Mr virgin".

Kevin let out a sigh as he glanced at the food with saliva dripping down his mouth. It was no fox but compared to nothing it was heavenly. He ate it all in a flash.

"You eat like a virgin too!" Lilith added.

Before Kevin could respond, she left the room saying she should get some more rest. He had been in the clinic for a whole day before he woke up.

With the three-tailed fox refusing to leave, Kevin embraced the bed wandering off into his dreams.
