Caelum

"Do you know the way to Caelum, Reagan?" I asked.

"Yes, I do. It's not far from here."

We continued walking for a while, and eventually, we came across a town.

"Is this it? Is this Caelum?"

"Yes, this is Caelum."

"Wow, it looks a lot different than the other villages we've been to."

"It's probably because it's a crime-filled city.

"Thank you, Reagan."

"You're welcome, Sora."

We entered the town and were immediately greeted by a group of people.

"Hey, you two, where are you going?" One of the people asked.

"We're just passing through." Reagan said.

"Are you sure? You look like you're up to no good."

"No, we're not, we're just passing through." Reagan scoffed.

"Okay, well, be careful."

"We will." I said.

Reagan and I continued walking through the town, and we eventually came across a house.

"What is this place?"

"It's the town hall. Let's go inside."

We walked into the building and were greeted by a man.

"Welcome, are you looking for someone?"

"Yes, we're looking for a man named Sora." Reagan said.

"Sora? Yes, I've heard of him. He's been murdering people in this town left and right, we don't know why." The man said it, trembling in fear.

"Do you know of his whereabouts?"

"I'm sorry, I have no idea where this man could be." He replied.

Reagan and I searched the village for the rest of the day for any clues as to where Future Sora could possibly be, and to our surprise, we came up with nothing. This man went into hiding because he was too scared of us.

"Where could he be?" Reagan wondered.

"I don't know, Reagan, but we'll find him, I promise."

"Thanks, Sora."

The next day, Reagan and I continued searching for any clues that could lead us to Future Sora's location. We searched the entire village, and we even questioned some of the citizens, but none of them had any information on his whereabouts.

"Damn it, we can't give up. We have to keep looking." Reagan said.

"Don't worry, Reagan, we'll find him. We just have to keep trying."

"So you've been looking for me this time, intriguing." Future Sora said.

We quickly turned around and saw his menacing smile once again, it was like looking in a mirror and seeing a monster.

Before Reagan could say a word Future Sora launched an attack at me that Reagan could barely block with a barrier made of light.

"Oh, you've gotten a lot better than I thought you would."

"You bastard!"

Reagan unleashed a barrage of light attacks at Future Sora, but he was easily able to dodge all of them.

"It's no use, Reagan, you're no match for me."

I used Light Roots in order to anchor him to the ground, Future Sora saw many outcomes, but he didn't see this one coming. This must mean the timeline that intertwines him and me is getting more and more inaccurate.

"Now's my chance!" I used Light Spear and hit Future Sora directly in the chest.

"ARGH! Damn you, Sora!"

"It's over, Sora, give up!"

"Never, I will never give up."

I used Light Spear again, but this time, he was able to block it.

"Hahaha, you're pathetic, Reagan. You will never defeat me."

I used my Light Rays and created a cage around Future Sora, trapping him.

"Reagan do something that will make him never come back." I said.

Future Sora scoffed and started laughing, his eyes glimmered a crimson red. "It's been a while since I was forced to use this. Reagan, you have pushed me to my limits, and I commend you for that. I am The Lich." A huge explosion scattered the surrounding light, leaving only rubble behind. Reagan and I were the only ones left standing amidst the wreckage.

"This isn't good. What type of transformation is this?" For the first time, I saw Reagan have true terror in his eyes.

"Reagan, what's wrong?" I said as I was looking back and forth at Future Sora and Reagan amidst all the chaos.

"He transformed into a Lich."

"A Lich? What is that?"

"It's the worst type of undead monster. He has basically transformed into this immortal being there is only one thing that can stop him now."

"What is it?"

"It's my one trump card. I like to call it... Timeline Erasure."

"We have no time to discuss it's either we use it or we stand and try to beat this guy using our own powers

"The only thing we should be doing is running."

"Reagan the last thing that we are doing is running. Get your head out of your ass and get up."

"But-"

"No, Reagan, we are not going anywhere. We have to find out what his plan is, and if we leave now, we will never know. He is the key to all of this, and we have to stop him."

"Sora, you are the one that will have to stop him. I cannot do this anymore, I am a failure. I could not protect you. I could not save your family. I could not keep Remi safe. I failed you. You will have to save the world now."

"Reagan, SHUT THE FUCK UP." I grabbed him by his shirt and held him against the wall.

"Listen to me, Reagan, you are not a failure, you are the only one that can help me. Without you, I am nothing. You are the only one that can help me. Do not let the words of a psychopathic murderer affect your confidence. You have saved the world multiple times, and you have stopped countless villains. You are not a failure. You are a hero. Now get up and help me."

Reagan's eyes began to water, and he nodded his head. "Thank you, Sora, I will help you. But first, we need to get out of here."

We started to run, but it was too late. The Lich had already caught up with us.

"You are both fools. Did you really think that you could escape from me? You are nothing but insects compared to me. I will crush you and everyone that stands in my way." Future Sora said, or at least what remained of him.

"No, Sora, we can't fight him, not like this. He's too strong." Reagan said, fear filling his voice.

"Reagan, we have to try, we can't just give up." I said, determination filling my own.

"You're right, Sora, we can't give up, we have to fight."

Reagan and I both used our Light Rays to try and slow down The Lich, but it was no use. He simply shrugged them off as if they were nothing.

"Hahaha, you two are pathetic. You can't even hurt me. I will crush you like the insects you are."

I looked over at Reagan and saw the fear in his eyes, it was like he was looking at a monster.

"Reagan, we can do this. We just have to believe in ourselves."

"I know, Sora, but he's too strong."

"No, Reagan, he's not. He's just a man. A man that can be beaten."

I looked at The Lich and saw his smile, it was a sinister smile that sent chills down my spine. My body was unable to move, the fear was engraved in my body, I watched as he slowly walked towards me.

"Sora, it's time to end this."

Reagan raised his hand and a blinding light engulfed everything. When I opened my eyes, I saw a giant crater where the Lich once stood.

"What the hell did you just do, Reagan?"

"It's called Timeline Erasure, it erases a person from existence."

Before I could smile Reagan began coughing up blood, what the hell is going on? I rushed over to Reagan who collapsed on the ground.

"REAGAN! What the hell happened?" I asked, trying to contain my tears.

"We need to get back to the school immediately, or else my body will cease to exist like Future Sora's." Reagan replied, struggling to even speak.

"What are you talking about, Reagan?"

"Sora, listen to me, when I used the Timeline Erase ability on the Lich, it also affected me. My body is slowly disappearing."

"Why would you do that?"

"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHY I WOULD DO THAT WE NEED TO GET BACK TO WILLIAMS NOW!" He yelled, coughing up blood in the process.

"Fine, let's go." I picked him up and began running as fast as I could. I used my light magic in order to get back to the school as quick as possible.

When we arrived at the school, William was already waiting for us.

"Sora, what happened?" He asked, concerned.

"William, Reagan used his Timeline Erase ability to erase the Lich, but it is also erasing his own body." I said, panicking.

"That idiot." William said under his breath. "There is only one way to save him, and it's going to be very difficult."

"What is it?" I asked, desperate to save my friend.

"Listen, we need Scarlett right now." William put his finger on his forehead and summoned Scarlett to us in an instant.

Williams, what's going on?" Scarlett asked.

I laid down Reagan's body and she looked horrified at the sight of Reagan slowly disintegrating.

"We need to do something NOW!" I yelled
