5: Ice Breathing Awakening

"This seems sharp" he held the bone chilling sword, unfazed by the temperature.

His eyes flashed viciously as he turned around and slashed towards the huge tree, his katana leaving a chilling streak of wind in the air.

Pulling back the katana, itsuki was immediately shocked, there was now a huge slash mark on the tree, nearly half the size of a grown man.

The sword slash was oozing with a cold aura as ice appeared on it after itsuki he retracted his katana.

The ice armor on the sword disappeared with a thought, revealing the battered wooden sword in its previous state, unaffected by the impact.

"Amazing" itsuki smiled, he felt a sense of satisfaction, from getting stronger, he was now a lot more confident since when he came into this world.

"But how would I fare against a demon?" He immediately got rid of this thought the moment it appeared, he could definitely put up a fight, but fighting one right now would be similar to asking to be killed and eaten, afterall his ice breathing power had just awakened and already took a huge mental toll on him.

He had better get used to it before even trying to do anything else.

Itsuki packed up and cleaned the area, he decided to return back to the orphanage for supper and get some rest.
