19 19: Severed Arm
Itsuki sustained some injuries, his sword was now a few meters from him, using his strong body he was able to tightly get a hold of his sword once more and flicker his body all around the place like a shadow.
Itsuki was sweating, his arms were shaking, but his eyes were firm and cold, his face carrying the same reassuring smile.
After seeing the humans flee as the candle lights in the town lit up, itsuki let out a roar before shooting off a building like an arrow, his sword flashing as he passed by, like a descending meteor aimed at daki.
Tch!!
As it passed the tentacles they were all eventually sliced apart and shriveled up instantly.
"Hah"
Another lunar split was released from Itsuki's sword with a flash of light, he pushed his physical abilities to the limit.
Boom!!
Shooting off the ground once more as he raced against the lunar split.
Swoosh!!
He appeared right behind the female demon and released another lunar split up-close, daki was in-between two terrifying lunar split attacks from both sides.
"F*ck" daki was starting to lose her patience, from itsuki destroying her tentacles and then releasing an attack, appearing behind her to release another one.
All of this happened in no less than three seconds, shocking her crazily.
"W-why, why is your body so strong??" She was surprised, demon slayers were strong because of their nichirin sword and breathing techniques, although they had strong bodies, could it compare to a demon's?.
Daki felt that itsuki was too fast, even for a demon this was an unnatural level of speed.
Boom!!
The lunar split's flashed with light as they drew together like a magnet, leaving daki anxious and scared within the midst of the two attacks, one of them was already way too close for her liking.
I'm a split second multiple tentacles appeared once more, like a globe of webs as they surrounded her almost like a ball.
"You are still within my domain" itsuki didn't let her go easily, he took a flash step and appeared inside the ball of tentacles instantly through the cracks before it could fully close.
Boom!!
Outside the ball daki was shocked as she continuously manipulated her tentacles to block the two attacks nearly inches away from her, what caused her to sweat even more was that itsuki was rushing towards her as she blocked those attacks.
"N-no" she shouted, but there was too much on her mind, she couldn't block this..
Puchi!!
Itsuki aimed for her head, but the sly demon managed to spin around, causing his sword to Land on one of her arms, cutting it completely off, although it took a bit of effort, her arms almost stretched, like that of her tentacles, but applying his ice breathing cut it completely off in a split second.
Her tentacles ripped apart as the lunar split's shred, they wouldn't stop until they lost all their momentum, daki was losing on all three sides at this moment.
Her eyes widened widely, as she was about to abandon her tentacles and escape, one of her tentacles had informed her of the presence of a hashira in the town, rushing towards their direction.
"Damnit, I'm injured, I can't die like this" daki shouted, a third eye appeared on her forhead.
The tentacles retook their shape and appeared in front of her like a spider web to block the incoming itsuki.
She then used this chance to leap away trying to fly, she looked clumsy with one arm, but her speed was not to be laughed at.
"Trying to flee?" Itsuki ripped apart the webs as he flash stepped and chased after her, but daki was already dozens of meters away.
Boom!!
Itsuki flung his sword like an ice spear, it was covered in a spark ice as it rushed towards daki!!
Puchi!!
She was hit once more, a strike to her back which left a bloody gash, what shocked itsuki even more was that she didn't stop running after that attack, and in a split second she sunk into a shadow and disappeared.
The beautiful now one handed demon girl was already out of his ice domain, itsuki couldn't find her position, he frowned and looked down...
Atleast this was a lesson for next time, never let a demon escape.
