What is the point of re-translating this novel. There are so many great novels that haven't been translated or their translation stopped. Besides, it's not like Demon's Diary existing translation is terrible. Please, chose something else for the trial read!

This LN is already translated to something like 500-700+ chapters already out there (not mtl). They should start where the other translations stopped. However, these translators want free money to just re-post the already translated chapters with ZERO guaranty that they will actually translate anything past the current translated chapters out there already. For all we know they will just drop it once there are no longer any chapters that they can post for free and claim as their translations. On top of all of that they will take 2 years to catch up to where the current translations leave off. So, you won't have anything new to read for at least 2-3 years.

Demons diary has already been translated upto like 400-500 chapters and still on going if i'm not wrong. use some new novels in trial read not ones that already exist and in the midst of translation.

I loved this novel back in the days, been reading it on gravity tales. I remember translations were on hiatus from time to time which made me sad. Qidian corpooligarchs you piece of *** you're late to the party. Out of all the good novels you pick something already translated or pure trash back to back in trial novels, probably on purpose.. I vote 1-star because there's no need to re-translate this novel. If anyone wants to read it check the site at novelupdates.

I started reading this novel maybe 3 to 4 yrs ago could even be 5. It was dropped numerous times and the current translation on another site is just unreasonably low quality, barely legible. This story is not your usual Xianxia. The author of this story isn't afraid to prematurely kill off characters you might like, the Mc is cautious but daring not willful but meticulous. The story has the random generated events that add spice to the story making it hard to predict the overall direction the story will go. I really enjoyed this story and got several hundred chapters in before I could not handle the TL quality. If you are interested in a dark story with slight hints of love interest along with beast companions and an Mc with a mysterious past he doesn't even know then this is the story for you.

At this point, I’m only going to be reading novels that don’t have the entire plot in the title. Thats all i wanted to say really, was bored and felt like i should put that out there. Also i get Exp i think, so i have that going for me. Also wondering if Authors read their own novel after its done? Or they just find that tedious, I know i would. Like they spent ALOT of time writing and re-editing it, they know the plot, they know whats going to happen. No reason to read it again….I was going somewhere with this….oh well. Come on man, your locking chapters that have already been translated by someone else behind a paywall with no guarantee that you are going to be translating any further. At this point, I am nearly sure that you just used the other translator's work and tweaked a few words here and there for every chapter.

This novel is really good. Like some people have said before me it is also translated a bit, but the translation is just edited mlt after chapter 250ish. I really hope this novel gets picked up here. the writer for it is great and has some other really popular works.

Read Demon's Diary in other places. Already translated up to over 700 chapters. Demon's Diary is a really good novel especially for xianxia. Qidian, pick up World's Best Martial Artist instead!!! It doesn't lose out to Lord of Mysteries and is unreadable by RAW :/

if you are going to leave a review do it on the premise of the novel not because you have a bias, yes it has already been translated but that is a "fan" translation and as a reader who dropped the novel because said translation was poor i look forward to it being done by the publisher even if it's just a better machine translation than that barely readable mess DD turned into when I stopped reading it a few years back my review: this is one of the best novels you'll get, it's top tier by all standards, if you are the type to get overly attached to characters this isn't your novel. I will say that although the MC is clever the novel suffers from Deus ex machina but at least it's fun and interesting in the way the author sets it up. MC is selfish and vicious to himself and others like any good-evil MC.

I personally recommend this novel, but this novel has been mostly translated (more than 700 chapters) in another website while right now there’s 82 chapters on web-novel like really? Anyway the story’s great for a normal non hardcore read, it gets boring sometimes but better than having dumb young masters getting face slapped every few chapters. The main character obviously gets a cheat, though it isn’t really overpowered cause it threatens him as well though not on purpose. This novel is not great, (my definition of great like the legendary Mechanic or LoM) but enjoyable in my top 100 :) though web-novel put put the other 700ish chapters here.
