So kids can't read, write or do numbers until puberty when all their systems are just about going haywire with hormones. Not very effective in the long run. 3 years of primary starting from age 5 and then another 3 years of advanced education at prime social interaction ages of 12-15 would be optimal as most kids would have started puberty and gotten used to the awkward changes to their bodies while not so out of their adolescents its to hard to make friends.
