Chapter 13: Snow Jaguar2

The jaguar dashed at them again, this time it seemed to be moving faster, it seemed to have discovered a weakness in the group and went straight for bryan, Bryan was hit and sent flying into a tree, he slumped to the ground and couldn't get on his feet again.

"This has put a wedge in our plans, how did the jaguar know to go for the most inept combatant in our group, I refuse to believe that beast is spaient" prince complained

"Try to quit complaining and focus, so you wouldn't get hit by that jaguar, we might have improved physical attributes but our speed is considerably slower than that of the jaguar, the most difficult thing to do now is to land a hit on it, if I can manage to touch it at least I might be able to activate death control and limit it's speed a little" Chen said

The jaguar seemed to have become impatient about the fact that it hadn't caught it's pretty yet and pounced on Romeo by this time the group had already gotten itself in order and had assumed the planned formation the snow jaguar swiped it's claws at Romeo, he dodged both claws and leapt back in a bit to escape the jaguars range of attack, but the most unexpected thing happened, the jaguar wrapped on of it's tentacles around Romeo's leg and used it as leverage to pull Romeo towards itself, before Romeo could get his bearing the jaguar used it's hind legs to hit Romeo squarely in the chest.

Romeo flew about ten meters before being hitting a tree and slumping to the ground, the jaguar seemingly satisfied with itself let out a roar and proceeded to charge towards klaus.

" I think the problem right now is that we tried to box this jaguar in, seems like we just made things easier for it, since it's faster than we are it should be quite easy for it to take us all out, It also makes it harder for us to use weapons, since we wouldn't want to harm anyone while taking aim at the jaguar I suggest we spread out" Klaus said while avoiding a flurry of swipes from the jaguar

"I agree with you on that, I seemed to have miscalculated when drawing out my tactics, everyone spread out, give asuch space as you can to the jaguar" Chen instructed

"It seems like they are beginning to learn, I was amused when I saw them trying to box the jaguar in, i wonder if I should give pointers to them on how to degeat the jaguar" Feng thought to himself while rubbing his chin

Klaus seemed to have gotten tired of being on the defensive and decided to start attacking the snow jaguar while avoiding it's paws, the jaguar leapt to a tree and used the momentum to ricrochet towards prince this time, prince rolled away from the attack and threw three knives in quick succession, the jaguar easily dodged all three knives.

"Chen fire now" prince shouted at the top of his voice

Chen started firing recurrently but still the jaguar managed to dodge it all it seemed as if it had a premonition of wherever danger was coming from, the jaguar ran towards Chen in a bid to attack him and prevent him from shooting, but Klaus managed to ambush it while it was focused on attacking Chen, he got behind the jaguar and raised a fist to punch it.

Admist the blaring sounds of horns and sirens a cloaked man could be seen walking briskly towards a lonely street, as he approached the the the street he looked around the make sure no in was following him, he then proceeded to push open a sewer grate, he jumped inside and fixed the grate back in position when he was done.

Tap!! Tap!! The continuous sound of water droplets falling could be heard in the sewer, the man in a cloak was drenched thoroughly from head to toe and was trying to navigate his way through the sewers admist the pungent smell and the water coming up to his waist line, as he progressed further it was getting darker, he had no option than to switch on his torch, he could see a few more scurrying around and he could hear some hissing sounds a distance away but none of these were a problem to him, as he was hugely bothered about his faliure in the first mission that was tasked to him, he could feel his heart rate increasing because he was well aware of what awaited him ahead, he knew that no excuses would save him from what was to come.

He soon came to his destination and climed the ladder that was provided to get out of the sewer. He soon found himself standing in front of a solid metal doon, he rapped on the door twice and a peep hole was opened, a man with very bush brows peeked through the hole and opened the door for him to enter, there were about eight people gathered around in the room drinking and playing cards, he greeted a few and went up to a burly looking dark skinned man.

"Where is Joe joe" he asked the burly man

"Check in behind, but prepare yourself he is really really pissed, I don't know what happened to get him that pissed, he has been destroying everything for a while now" the burly man replied while pointing to a door behind him

The approached the door and knocked but received no reply so he proceeded to open the door, immediately he stepped into the room he was hit by the Carnage in the room. Papers were strewn everywhere, the chairs were smashed beyond recognition, and there were burn marks all over the walls.

Joe joe was seen laying down on a couch with his eyes closed it seemed like he wasn't aware there was anyone in the room with him, seeing that Joe joe was still fast asleep he decided to turn back and leave.

"Leo! Leo! Leo! Are you leaving without saying anything" joe joe asked with a sneer on his face

"I wasn't aware you were awake boss I was planning to return in a few hours time when I was sure you would be awkae" leo replied

"I see, I was made aware of the fact that you couldn't carry out the simple task of taking out an unarmed woman, come closer to me let me show you the consequences for your faliure" joe joe said with an evil looking smirk
