Chapter 63
"Aauuugggghhhhhh!!!" The man screamed in terror instead of answering her question. "Dddd-dddooonnn't… kill…me!" His voice broke as he pleaded for his life.
Anna tried to touch him but realized how grotesque her form was. Just by looking at her hands, the long and sharp claws attached on her bony fingers was terrifying enough for anyone to see it, including herself. She retracted her hand and immediately ran away into the darkness of the forest, before flying away into the night.
It took her a moment to learn how to use her ability of flight. She crashed on the trees as she clumsily flapped her wings, trying to replicate how her monstrous self would operate it. However, the result was poor. After crashing on trees and breaking a few branches too many, Anna decided to ditch flying and ran back into the forest instead.
As she ran back home, a big black dog happened to pass by her. It ran gracefully and swiftly than the wind. It locked eyes with her and winked.
