Going out

Probably the only one not drunk by the end of the night was the little wyvern and even then it was mostly because Alex refused to let it take part. Alex smirked at all the groaning people found all around astera the next day since he didn't have a hangover himself. The unique plants that let Alex experience drunkenness simply didn't have the same effect on the body after it's effects wore off. There were a few people who were hale and hearty though as they had amazing recovery abilities that basically let them avoid hangovers much to their peers jealousy.

Alex carefully walked through the town with his little follower in tow behind him looking at everything around curiously. A funny scene happened when the little one went to sniff some red pepper and sneezed up a cloud of the stuff spreading the suffering to everyone in the surroundings. It was a chorus of coughs and sneezes in the market area while Alex gripped the little one by the scruff of it's neck to stop it from causing any more trouble from the pepper in it's eyes blinding it. Once the commotion died down Alex apologized for the trouble while paying for the wasted spice.

He ignored the squirming and whining wyvern in his grip as he walked over top the dock and tossed it into the water to rinse the pepper out of it's eyes and scales. The thing floundered about in the water for a moment before it's instincts kicked in and it stabilized itself at the surface. Still it was very unhappy for the sudden bath even if it was for it's own good. Alex also got in the water in order to make sure it got cleaned off since the water near it had grown slightly reddish from the pepper.

About five minutes later the little one was squeaky clean and visibly upset at Alex who just ignored it as he left the water. "Never a dull moment with you around sid." The foreman said with a smirk. Alex rolled his eyes 'stuff happens , I just learned to live with it by now.' He said honestly and the foreman flinched slightly. "Yeah that's definitely gonna take some getting used to , damn useful though." the foreman said honestly. Alex nodded 'yeah I was surprised that we were lucky enough to fine the thing I got it from before something ate it for standing out' he said seriously.

"Any plans for today while the rest of the town recovers from the celebration?" the man asked curiously. 'I'll be taking the runt out with me out on a small hunt to get it familiar with Zain assuming he's not working off his own hangover.' Alex said with a small smirk at the end. "It would be weird if he wasn't with how much he drank last night , hahaha man's got a real bad competitive streak to him to try and drink you under the table." The foreman said with a laugh.

Alex bid the man goodbye before heading over to the canteen where he expected to find Zain with the handler since that was where he normally was when not busy. Surprisingly neither Zain nor the handler had any signs of a hangover when Alex found them up there. "Yo sid what brings you up here so early?" Zain called out as he saw Alex approaching. 'Was wondering if I could bother you to join me and the little one on a hunt to get him used to working with hunters?' Alex asked calmly.

Zain popped up from his seat excitedly when he heard this "count me in! So what's the target , jagras , anjanath maybe a tobi considering what you've been feeding him?" Zain asked excitedly. Alex shook his head 'nothing large since he is far too small for that but I think a pack of the smaller jagras aught to do just fine for a test run.' He said seriously. Zain looks a little disappointed but nods "yeah you're probably right that we should start him off small. give me about thirty minutes to get geared up and we can head out." He said before heading off to his quarters to prepare.
