The Broken State
Darren gulped as he looked around the private airport Hugo had burrowed from someone. They have just arrived back at his country and the distance of him and the man he loves isn't even helping.
Maybe because of how fresh the wound of his heart is.
He took a deep breath and tried to inhale a lot of oxygen. Maybe if he tries hard enough he'll be able to get in an air of enlightenment and love for himself.
He wanted to promise to himself he'll make himself better. Help himself because how could he start accepting help from other people if he cannot even help his own self?
He thought Hugo will turn around and leave already but as the man walked out of the jet and followed him from behind, he stopped.
"I thought you're going back immediately?" he asked, turning to face the freak he might just have unconsciously given a little respect.
He didn't know Hugo can be this kind.
