The Betrayal For Money
Darren felt lifeless as he opened his eyes.
It has been what? A day? A month? A year? A decade?
Where in all reality it just been another morning which felt like centuries.
Time is always different whenever he's in pain.
Months ago, he had problems and it took him long agonizing weeks before he actually had gotten back on his feet and think of their company.
He shot up.
Right. Company.
Now, that he's here, surely his parents are expecting him to take it from their hands and be the CEO that he should be. In this life, in his life, he cannot avoid to slack like a lazy man and get to work.
This is the least he could do. Shaking his head to brush any thoughts aside, he forced himself to stand up. If there's more time, maybe he could also force himself to do some yoga to calm himself down but he's probably just going to injure himself.
