the description is rather common so most wouldn't find this fic interesting at first, but I'll be making another overview so yall know what you're heading into. no spoilers (not much) atleast. so the main is an art student reborn in naruto world, nothing much at first, the system allows him to gain points from letting people read his naruto manga, the stronger the person, the more points he gets, and so that's the part that makes him the ( OP?) protagonist. BUT here's the catch, this fanfic is based in the time wayy before naruto was born, the main gets to interact with people like the sannins even orochimaru before he turned, ya know, pedophile, and the uzumaki clan before they got eradicated. thanks to the settings, we get to see many of the author's OC making this unique in it's own way, and since naruto and others in the canon didn't exist yet, no one expects the MC's manga to be somekind of predictions. you can't see where this is going, this, my fellow reader, is an unpredictable fanfic, like time travelling and butterfly effects type of unpredictability along with "restaurant in another world" and "black tech internet cafe" vibe. so far this is quite an interesting and relaxing read. there's hardly any grammatical mistakes. MC's the lazy type and his chemistry with other character is surprisingly good.
hmm its good but it makes no sense... i mean he is in the time of the second war or is it third ? dunno don't really Mathers but what our mc is doing is writing the Naruto manga we all have seen .. and printing it out and letting all off Konoha look at it lol so yet again i most ask is this mc an bonafide idiot ? things will come up and people will be like " wait didn't i just read this shit in the manga back in Konoha ?" people will start to suspect that something is wrong.. and thats just fact i find it fucking weird but enough about that lets go over to his choice´s with the system thingy he have ... he is from kuruma clan so he has a weak body etc etc but the dude does not fix his body up with the system atm he have 10 physical and 50 mental makes no frickin sense why he would willingly let himself have a weak ass body yet the dude just want to sit and write .. he knows what´s happening yet he wont improve himself its frustrating and annoying at the same time .. but the story is ok i guess ?
the beginning was promising, a year ago I read about 60 chapters and postponed this fic to read a couple hundred chapters in one gulp. And today I decided to read it, and I'm disappointed. the author has let all the potential down the drain. the author crossed out the romantic line (why give hope at the very beginning and take it away at the end!?). ms did not develop as a person in any way, just a lazy infusoria with the system. there was no development of other characters, only their killing and falling as personalities. the ending was completely 👎 and uninteresting, it ended in a hurry and boring. this is the most disappointing fan fiction in my life. (((
The story is good, but what infuriates me is the idiocy of the MC. He is an absolute retard, ignoring his safety for some quick strength. Why would he draw Naruto of all things? He didn't even try to draw anything else. The masses starved of entertainment would eat up any cliche story like it was a gold mine. In Naruto, after a couple dozen chapters of plot, there are already secrets that would get him killed. Yet he doesn't care. He doesn't care about how many relationships he will burn and how many issues would arise because of what he included in his comic. If a character, be it classmate or someone else, isn't included in the story, it is screaming to their face that they will be dead or irrelevant in the story. This wouldn't be an issue, if he didn't focus so much on the people that DO survive. And what I don't understand is how people react to the uchiha massacre??? Like it is already a political move on the agenda, so they wouldn't just stand calmly. And if he excluded it from the story, he would have changed the plot unrecognisably. I don't like how the author completely ignores this and just goes with it. Yes, it might be just some sketches of a child, but it has huge implications. Besides all that, he should have known better than to talk about sensitive subjects such as the Uchiha incident. This, along with flawed background logic is why I can only give WB 2 stars. About the characters. They are greatly flawed, there appears to be almost no change in the current personalities of the characters and when they go through war, loss, hardship, suffering, death and grief. You might say that they are childish but are still trained to act mature, but it still doesn't mean much. These are kids who have only experienced peace and prosperity and know nothing of the 'real' world. This is why CD also gets 2 stars. About the story. It is a bit better, but not deserving of 4 stars. I am only on chapter 21, so I can't say much, but from what I have seen, it is basic at most. There is nothing new, nothing exciting, only the same old group of perfect kids with superpowers. (Before you ask, I am aware that this is a translation, so most of the critique goes to the original author). Webnovel has a dumpsterfire of a rating system, so the end result came out as 3.2 stars.
tl;dr at the bottom Ok. I've completely read this novel from raw(我在火影画漫画). I'd say the early plot a bit slow but the overall pacing ain't bad, the pacing get better a bit later, and surprisingly the ending ain't that bad compared some "good" novels that I know albeit it's less than ideal. Although there are many unsatisfying thing like the author started plot points but no follow up. Overall this novel idea quite fresh but with lackluster execution, i read all in about 24 hours time (purely reading time). Tl;dr: this novel got fresh idea, moderately good overall, lackluster execution-especially towards the ending
Reviewed as of chp 65: WQ(2/5): I'll be frank, the translation quality isn't great. It needs quite a fair bit of work. Especially the grammar and sentence structures. Translating isn't easy especially from a work originally written in Japanese or Chinese. A lot of words and expressions are literally lost in translation. Translator gives a decent effort but more could be done to improve. SU(3/5): Pretty consistent. Not much else to say. Hence an average score. SD:(4/5): Plot-wise, this story is a pretty interesting take on being isekai-ed to Narutoverse. The setting starts out in a peaceful era after the first Shinobi WW, so the sannins are still in the academy and such. I love that the author incorporated the fall of the Uzumaki clan within the story rather than just an afterthought. CD(5/5): While the MC can be a bit frustrating at times, I find his character to fit somewhat as a slightly obsessed mangaka. He literally gets stronger and more versatile as a fighter with the points he gets from drawing manga so it fits. The side characters are great, absolutely adore grandma Mito. It would be interesting to see how MC deals with Danzo being his sensei. WB(4/5): Its Narutoverse, its deep enough for the author to pace out his story with more places and explorations. Overall, a very interesting take on naruto fanfic but the translation quality leaves a lot to be desired. Hope there is more improvement however, I haven't seen any yet.
If your a type of reader who are not keen to details and just want to read a powerful mc then this is the story for you! If not then this is not for you because the further the chapters you read the more plot holes you would noticed, The MC of course are not affected by this because of the Plot Armor and you also would noticed some pre 2nd war era info's in this story that is wrong.
As long as you read while ignoring the details is fine I mean if he started posting highly confidential stuff nothing the clans are gonna come after, not to mention the uchiha clan gets destroyed in the manga which is gonna bring the wrath of the whole Uchiha clan for showing them to be weak etc etc
