He smirked again and whispered in his deeply seductive voice, “I like my name even more ever since I started hearing it from your beautiful lips. And I like it even further when you say it in that hushed tone.” Anastasia had no idea what Caspian was hinting at yet. Late-Night Talk

“Anna?” Caspian abruptly stopped when he saw Anastasia’s silhouette in the corner of the antechamber. “You’re still awake?” he asked, surprised that Anastasia hadn’t yet gone to sleep even though it was very late already.

Anastasia stepped in front of the window. The cool moonlight framed her body and created the illusion that it was Anastasia who was glowing.

“Yes.” She looked at her husband and said in a very soft voice, “I was waiting for you to come.”

Caspian sighed because he didn’t mean to be late and keep his wife waiting for him. It was just that it took him quite a long time to put a rein over his anger.

“I apologize for being late.” He held out his arm towards his wife and asked, “Shall we head towards the bedchamber then? You must be tired.”

“I'm not that tired,” Anastasia lied.

She was extremely exhausted and was barely able to stand on her feet.
