He smirked again and whispered in his deeply seductive voice, “I like my name even more ever since I started hearing it from your beautiful lips. And I like it even further when you say it in that hushed tone.” Anastasia had no idea what Caspian was hinting at yet. Irreparable Damage

Anastasia felt her heart sinking when she heard that malevolent words from Caspian. She had to grab onto the frame of the bathroom door because her knees suddenly went weak.

Tears began to stream down her eyes like a waterfall when she dared to ask the man who had already gone astray, “How can you even say that?” She choked on her words when she further asked, “Do you now hate me so much that you wish to kill me?”

Caspian scoffed. His dark-red eyes glinted with anger when he dug his claws into the near-dead man’s shoulder whose upper body was resting sideways on the bathtub, in front of Caspian.

And as the blood dripped down into the ice-cold water in the tub, Caspian gave a menacing glare to Anastasia and asked spitefully, “Why do you look so surprised? Wasn’t killing you always a clause of our bet? Or did you already forget about it?”

Anastasia felt goosebumps running down her whole body when he reminded her of their bet.

Of course, she remembered it.
