He smirked again and whispered in his deeply seductive voice, “I like my name even more ever since I started hearing it from your beautiful lips. And I like it even further when you say it in that hushed tone.” Anastasia had no idea what Caspian was hinting at yet. Harsh Words

Anastasia was startled when Caspian suddenly shouted at her. Not that she expected Caspian to treat her kindly after everything that transpired. Still, she hadn’t expected him to speak that harshly either.

Despite the chill shiver that was running down her spine, she tried to suppress her fear and then answered softly, “I heard that you had returned. So, I came here to see you.”

“Well, you saw me. Now go back to your chamber. I wish not to be disturbed,” he snarled at her once again.

Caspian felt a prick in his heart when Anastasia guiltily looked down. He didn’t mean to shout at her and make her feel bad. But because of the emotional turmoil that he was going through, the words came out that way.

He didn’t apologize though. He simply faced the other way and waited for Anastasia to leave him alone.

As Caspian made it crystal clear that she was unwanted at the moment, Anastasia didn’t want to stay in the room any longer and make him feel uncomfortable.
