Alex and Mateo were stunned to learn that the intruder had been in a relationship with Ashley.
- How do you know he's your 'ex'? - Alex said, looking at her in disbelief.
-In the camera, you can see that he's wearing black boots with laces. - Ashley said as she put her things back in the box.
- Can anyone have boots like that? - Mateo said, looking at her carefully.
-I know, but the ones he has, I gave them to him as a gift. I made a personalization on the outside of each side with gold slats in the shape of electric guitars. - Ashley finished saying that uninterestedly as if she was playing it down.
- Did you love him enough to do that? - Alex looked at her with disapproval and disgust.
-Sometimes, we get blinded, and you're a prime example. - Ashley gave him a mocking look, and Alex looked at me to scold my friend.
