Unmasked Part I
I looked at the door and saw some people coming into the library, and I immediately had an idea.
-Okay, Davis? - I hesitated about how I should tell him.
-Tell me, Tom. - He said quickly.
-You have almost an hour to prove to me that you are capable of running this library on your own. - I got up from my seat, quickly explained to Tom how the computer worked and the structure of the library on both floors.
I made him sit in my place and let him attend to the people who approached where he was. At first, he seemed nervous and shy. But as time went by, he became more familiar with the environment. Even his attitude changed when talking to people. I moved away to help my classmates while keeping my attention on him, and when it was about nine o'clock, people started to leave. In a matter of minutes, the library was empty. While my friends cleaned up, I went to the boy.
- How did it go? - I asked as I sat down to check the computer.
